SCP-939, “With Many Voices,” had finally been successfully contained.

Ethan sat somewhat dazed in a chair inside the temporary camp that had been established in the forest.

Then the system’s notifications began appearing one after another.Full novel: Marvel: I Made the SCP Foundation Real — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Originally, Ethan had been wondering whether he needed to purchase a base before he could properly contain SCP-939.

He hadn’t expected the system to simply give him one for achieving an S-Class containment rating.

And it wasn’t just any facility.

It was an A-Class Base.

Talk about getting exactly what he needed at exactly the right time.

According to the information provided by the system, Foundation base classifications were determined by factors such as the size of the facility and the completeness of its infrastructure.

However, receiving an A-Class Base didn’t mean Ethan had already developed the facility to the absolute limit of what an A-Class installation could become.

At present, the base merely possessed the fundamental infrastructure required to qualify for that classification.

It currently had only its basic personnel and supporting facilities.

Its development potential, however, was enormous.

This single facility alone was already capable of supporting Foundation operations across the entire Americas.

After reviewing all of the settlement rewards, Ethan couldn’t help asking the system a question.

“System, under my command, this containment operation resulted in fifty-six casualties.” “Twenty-one of them were killed.” “Does that really count as a perfect operation?” The system responded immediately.

[Host does not need to question the system’s evaluation.] [Based on the combat forces available to you, even if every assault operator who initially entered the nest had been killed, you still could have received an S-Class evaluation.] [According to system calculations, even a single SCP-939 offspring is capable of destroying a conventional U.S.

Army infantry platoon under appropriate conditions.] [Your forces eliminated a total of 519 SCP-939 offspring.] [Had SCP-939 not been successfully contained and the specimens escaped into the surrounding region, the resulting casualties would have reached at least one million.] [Eliminating them afterward would have required the deployment of extensive military forces, including mechanized units and Air Force bombers.] [Host, do not underestimate your accomplishment.] Ethan thought about it.

The system had a point.

Even with the Foundation Air Assault Company’s excellent equipment, once they entered the nest, they had been forced to abandon almost all of their vehicle and aerial-firepower advantages.

Despite that, they had still managed to kill 519 SCP-939 offspring.

That was already an extraordinary combat achievement.

And of those…

Ethan himself had personally killed more than a hundred.

The Service Pistol had absorbed an enormous amount of energy during the fighting as well.

He could sense that the living weapon was already approaching another evolution.

After finally resolving the guilt lingering in his heart, Ethan noticed Tony entering the tent.

Tony looked at him sitting there and said, “So, the fighting’s over.” “Uh, technically I was supposed to head back with the agents from that Homeland Strategic…

Attack…

Logistics…

whatever agency.” Tony waved his hand dismissively.

“But I was wondering if I could hitch a ride with you guys instead.” He grinned.

“Your aircraft are ridiculously cool.” “And while we’re at it, maybe we can discuss Stark Industries sponsoring the Foundation?” “No problem.” Ethan nodded.

“But we’re heading toward Los Angeles.

Our base is over there.” Tony’s expression immediately brightened.

“Los Angeles?” “Wow.

That’s perfect.” He grinned.

“Looks like we’re practically neighbors.” Ethan blinked.

His knowledge of Marvel had never been especially deep.

He had mainly watched the movies.

He knew Tony Stark was absurdly wealthy, that he would become Iron Man, that he controlled Stark Industries, and that he was basically America’s most famous billionaire heir.

But as for exactly where Tony lived?

Ethan genuinely had no idea.

Tony seemed to remember something else.

“Oh, and if possible…” “Could you help search for Dr.

Yinsen?” “He should’ve escaped from the base by now, but he doesn’t have any transportation.” Tony paused before giving Ethan another grin.

“You do welcome guests at Foundation bases, right?” Ethan hesitated.

“Uh…” “Sure?”
