Aunt May froze.

Up close, the twenty-year-old’s vitality seemed to radiate from every pore.

The fresh stubble along his jaw glinted faintly blue and gold, and his sunny smile shone like the newborn sun.Full novel: Marvel: I’m starting out by giving Aunt May special treatment — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

As she thought of her years of widowhood, her own emptiness, and the pleasure from two hours earlier, something inside her snapped.

Her silk blouse slid off her shoulders like a white flag of surrender.

In the lamplight, her arched feet swayed in the air once more…

An hour later.

Aunt May stood in the entryway adjusting her collar, fresh marks layered over old ones.

She wore a long navy trench coat over a white shirt that clung to her exceptionally full bust.

Its double-breasted belt cinched her slim, willowy waist and showed off her soft, slender figure.

The clean seams of her trousers sculpted her figure even further; her full rear stretched the pants taut, round and shapely with a startling curve and undeniable visual impact.

“Aunt May, are you sure you won’t stay the night?” Hawk was already pressed against her from behind, his body fit so tightly against her curves that they seemed molded together.

Aunt May waved him off and quickly said no.

Seeing that Hawk didn’t try to force her to stay, she relaxed.

After all, she wasn’t a girl in her twenties anymore and couldn’t handle being tossed around like that.

After that, she felt Hawk was really too strong.

Strong in every way!

Once she got home, she would definitely have to set aside time every day to work out and train.

Otherwise, next time…

When she stepped into the elevator, her phone buzzed.

The screen lit up with a text from Peter: “Aunt May!

Midtown High sent the acceptance letter!!!

When are you coming home?

I made blueberry muffins.” Reading his message, she could picture the happy smile on his face.

Aunt May felt a wave of relief, followed by a pang of bitterness.

*Peter, you have to study hard.

That acceptance letter was hard-earned!* Then she made up her mind.

She took out her phone, sent Hawk a text, and deleted his contact: “Mr.

Hawk, thank you for your help.

I believe I have already repaid you.

Please do not contact me again!” Meanwhile, after seeing Aunt May off, Hawk walked alone to the window.

He read Aunt May’s text and smiled.

“Already repaid?

Heh.

A general’s kindness can never be fully repaid in a lifetime…” Hawk looked absurdly young for twenty.

His golden-brown hair looked soft under the warm indoor light, making him look harmless, and his light brown eyes reflected the glittering city lights.

A physics professor at some university in his past life…

The thought rippled through his mind like a stone dropped into a deep pool.

The man who had once stood at a podium lecturing on the basics of quantum mechanics to hundreds of students and more than a dozen renowned physics professors drawn by his reputation, the man his students had privately teased for being bookish, now seemed blurred, like a nightmare from a past life.

A sudden, unexplained lab accident, or rather the system’s activated “ticket,” had thrown him from his familiar, stable reality into this strange and dangerous Marvel universe.

Fortunately, the identity he had landed in was powerful enough: John Lane’s adopted son, his only child, and the undisputed heir to a vast business empire.

John Lane, a firm, sharp-eyed old man, had given him resources and protection beyond what most people could imagine.

More importantly, when Hawk cautiously revealed abilities far beyond what could be explained by being a “genius boy,” John Lane chose to trust and support him unconditionally.

All of that confidence came from the “golden finger” buried deep in his consciousness that had crossed over with him: [Annual Destiny Roulette].

It was a cold, precise, utterly emotionless system.

Every year at midnight on his birthday, the roulette activated right on time.

Twenty slots, all shrouded in mist.

Only when the pointer stopped was the reward revealed.

The prizes covered everything, from ordinary items and character summoning cards to permanent knowledge infusions and even superpowers that granted extraordinary abilities.

Twenty years, twenty spins.

On his 1st birthday, he drew a completely ordinary fountain pen.

On his 2nd birthday, he drew a Glock pistol with infinite ammo.

On his 3rd birthday, he drew Diamond Brain [Non-upgradeable], a very practical passive ability.

The “non-upgradeable” tag meant it gave him absolute protection for his mind and spirit.

On his 4th birthday, he drew one finished dose of Extremis serum, which meant a 100% success rate.

On his lucky 5th birthday, he received the ability he still uses most often: Flight Lv.1, which allowed him to fly at subsonic speed.

On his 6th birthday, he drew a Skill Card.

A Skill Card could upgrade abilities he had already drawn.

At age 7, he drew an authentic pair of Balenciaga stockings.

When seven-year-old Hawk gave them to a female intern who had just joined the company, his father gave him a severe beating.

At age 8, he drew a new type of reward: Character Card: Business Elite, Andy.

When he saw that the figure on the card looked just like the actress Liu Tao, his eyebrows twitched.

He had watched the hit drama Ode to Joy in his previous life.

The day after he used the Skill Card, his father suddenly told him that he had sponsored a female student from China named Andy and that their family would host her.

And so eight-year-old Hawk began living a shameless life with eighteen-year-old Andy…

On his 9th birthday, he drew a Skill Card.

On his 10th birthday, he drew what is now his core offensive ability: Heat Ray Lv.1.

His 11th birthday was an unlucky day.

The first “Thanks for playing” of his life was stamped on his forehead.

At age 12, he drew Mind Soothing Lv.1, a practical minor mental skill.

It came in handy whenever he teased Andy until she cried.

At age 13, “Thanks for playing…” At age 14, “Thanks for playing…” Those two years were like a nightmare…

At age 15, Hacking Lv1, an essential skill for a protagonist.

No further explanation needed.
