After reaching the second floor, the two quietly slipped into the back of the group of interns and began looking around at Oscorp’s facilities.
“Welcome to Oscorp. I’m Gwen Stacy, a senior student at Empire State University. ”
A familiar voice came from the front of the group.
Sean glanced over.
The moment he recognized her, he and Parker exchanged a look and simultaneously lowered their heads, hiding behind the students in front of them.
“Damn it. What is she doing here?”
Parker was so nervous that he didn’t even dare stick his head out.
“How should I know? I had no idea either. ”
Sean had completely forgotten about this part.
That woman already seemed to have a grudge against him.
Who knew whether she would expose him and drag Parker down with him?
“Just follow the rules. If you don’t… ”
Gwen smiled as she explained the requirements to everyone.
Clearly, she had done this more than once.
Her speech was concise and confident, and she showed no trace of stage fright, carrying herself like a capable young woman.
“I’m Guevara! Tell them Rodrigo Guevara is downstairs!”
“I’M Jessford! I’m here for the internship!”
A commotion came from downstairs, attracting everyone’s attention.
It seemed that the two unlucky guys whose identities Sean and Parker had borrowed had been thrown out by security.

“Dr. Connors. ”
Gwen returned the greeting.

Sean looked Dr.
Connors up and down.

Connors began explaining his grand vision to the interns before posing a question.
As a top student, Parker immediately attracted everyone’s attention.
The crowd parted, leaving Parker completely exposed in front of Gwen.
Sean quietly moved into the group of interns nearby.He was afraid Gwen would notice him and drag Parker into trouble with him.
Gwen checked the information in her hands.
There was no record of Parker among the interns.
It was obvious that he had sneaked in.
Parker rattled off a string of highly technical terms, immediately catching Connors’ attention.
Something about Parker felt familiar to him.

“Who are you?”
Gwen didn’t want Parker to be escorted out by security.
After all, he was still her classmate.
She quickly stepped in.
“He’s one of the top students at Empire State University. ”
“Is that so?”
Connors didn’t seem suspicious.
“He’s ranked second in his class. ”
Parker looked confused.
“Second?”
What was Gwen talking about?
“Yes. ”

Gwen’s eyes practically glowed with murderous intent.
“Are you sure?”
Parker still hadn’t realized what was going on and continued digging his own grave.
“I’m absolutely sure. ”
Gwen was starting to feel like punching this idiot.
He gave Parker a deep look before leaving.
Gwen continued with her work.Parker grabbed Sean and prepared to leave, but Gwen suddenly came over from the side.
“Oh? Sean, you snuck in here too?”
She glanced at the internship badges.
“Hmm? Jessford? And… Guevara?”
Holding the information folder in both hands, Gwen looked at Sean and Parker with an amused expression.
Parker!
You idiot!
She hadn’t even noticed me!
Sean rubbed his slightly aching head.
How could a genius student be this hopeless in everyday life?

I’m handsome, I’m incredibly strong, and yet I can’t even grow hair.

“What are you two doing here?”
Gwen looked at them with a smile that wasn’t quite a smile.

“I’m here with Parker. He wanted to take a look. I originally wanted to apply too, but there weren’t enough spots. Parker just loves science too much, so we had no choice but to sneak in. ”

After Sean gave Parker a fierce glare, Parker immediately nodded vigorously.

When I get the chance, I’ll have Parker take you out for a nice meal.

Sean spoke with absolute confidence.
The other interns had already finished looking around the laboratory.
Gwen decided not to expose the two of them.
Instead, she threatened them.
“I’m going to continue leading the group. I’ll deal with you two later. Don’t cause any trouble. ”
Seeing Sean and Parker obediently nod, Gwen was satisfied and returned to the group.
Gwen led everyone toward the biochemical reaction chamber.
Sean obediently followed along as well, deliberately staying as close to Gwen as possible to cover for Parker.
Parker remained at the back of the group.
