“Pass the ball! Pass!”
“Come on, man! Run!”
These past few days, Sean had been spending his free time at school.
He found staying at home too boring, so he came out to get some fresh air.
Right now, he was sitting in the bleachers at the school basketball court, fiddling with his laptop.
He was researching his future costume.
Originally, he had wanted to work on it with Tony, but he discovered that news reports everywhere were saying that Tony had gone missing.
Parker had even come over specifically to comfort Sean, since Tony was technically his uncle.
Of course, Sean knew this was the period when Tony was becoming Iron Man, so he didn’t bother him.
In a few more days, he would go to the place where Tony had disappeared.
By then, Tony would also understand that weapons brought destruction, not hope.
At school, Sean and Parker had become inseparable these days.
The two had become close friends.
Sean sat in the bleachers researching his costume while Parker helped photograph the cheerleaders for their promotional material.
He was a well-known photographer at school, after all.
Meanwhile, Flash was once again bullying the weaker players on the court.
Over the past few days, with Gwen acting as a mediator, Sean and Flash had become somewhat familiar with each other.
Parker was included in that as well.
After seeing Sean around, Flash no longer ran away from him like he had before.
He had also stopped bullying the weaker students and instead turned his attention to dominating the basketball court.
He practically spent all day there.
Relying on his impressive physique, Flash blocked a tall player attempting a layup and arrogantly shouted, “Not a chance!”The basketball he had swatted away bounced across the court, rolled over the half-court line, and knocked over a bucket filled with blue paint.
The paint immediately spilled across a promotional poster.
The girl who had been working on the poster was furious.
She stood up and yelled at Flash,
“You did that on purpose, Flash!”
Flash hadn’t actually done it intentionally.
Who could control where a basketball went?
But he wasn’t about to admit that.
With a smug smile, he said,
“Not on purpose. I meant to do it. You’d better watch yourself. ”
He caught the ball his teammate passed back and turned around to continue playing.
Sean, who had been playing with his laptop, and Parker, who was taking photographs, both This chapter is updated first at g.com.
looked over.
Sean put down his laptop and walked onto the court to pick up the fallen bucket.
Seeing Sean go over to help, Parker stayed where he was.
“Uh… yeah, that’s pretty badly ruined. Looks like you’ll have to redraw it. ”
The blue paint had spilled all over the poster.
The entire thing was basically destroyed.
Sean shrugged as he spoke to the girl.
Her gaze happened to fall on Sean.
Their eyes met, but she didn’t say anything.
Since she remained silent, Sean took the opportunity to look her over.
Her messy hair was casually tied up, apparently for convenience while working.
Yet the slightly disheveled hairstyle gave her a unique, natural beauty.
She had delicate features and a beautiful face, along with a pair of round red glasses.
She looked somewhat like a homebody.
Quite appealing to Sean’s Asian tastes.
“Bang!”Flash blocked another shot.
No wonder he had been spending so much time on the basketball court lately.
And now the ball was flying this way again.
Sean was starting to wonder whether Flash was doing it on purpose.
He didn’t even turn around.
He casually swung his right hand and knocked the ball away.
The girl beside him jumped in surprise.
The ball struck one of the seats in the bleachers, bounced off, and flew toward Parker.
Unlike before, Parker now had his spider-sense.
Even though he was still focused on filming, his body reacted instinctively.
He lowered the camera, reached out, and caught the ball with one hand.
The ball was firmly stuck to his palm, caught by the tiny hairs on his hand that ordinary people couldn’t see.
When the ball had originally flown toward Sean, Flash had nearly scared himself to death.
Seeing Sean casually knock it away, he secretly breathed a sigh of relief.
Then, seeing the ball in Parker’s hand, he shouted, “Parker, give me the ball. ”
Parker raised an eyebrow.
After being bitten, his body had undergone a tremendous enhancement.
Faced with Flash’s provocation, Parker decided to teach him another lesson.
Holding the ball, Parker slowly walked toward the center of the court and smiled faintly.
“Why don’t you come get it yourself?”
Sean, meanwhile, had stopped paying attention to Parker and Flash.
He turned his attention back to the girl beside him.
“Hi. My name is Sean. I’m from Asia. ”
Sean gave her a friendly smile.
She stared at Sean with an adorably bewildered expression before asking,”Are you the guy who threw Flash out of the crowd a few weeks ago?”
She must have been one of the students who had witnessed that incident.
No wonder Sean vaguely remembered her.
He nodded in confirmation.
Seeing Sean admit it, the girl became excited.
She grabbed his hand and exclaimed, tell me you practice martial arts?”
“Wow!
How did you do that?
You’re from Asia.
Don’t
Only after saying that did she remember that she hadn’t introduced herself.
She quickly added,
“My name is Hannah Marks. You can call me Hannah. ”
“Yeah, martial arts. ”
Sean was caught off guard by her enthusiasm.
“So it really is martial arts!”
Hannah’s eyes lit up.
“I heard martial arts takes a really, really long time to learn, and you have to start training when you’re a child. ”
This girl seemed to be a huge martial arts fan.
I only trained for one month.
Sean complained inwardly.
But aloud, he said,
“Yeah, yeah. I started training when I was a kid. ”
“Then can you punch through a wall? Or smash a rock with your head?”
“Uh… probably not. And I wouldn’t exactly use my head to smash rocks. ”
“Bang! Crash~ ”
While Hannah and Sean were chatting on the side, Parker had finished showing off as well.
Flash stared at Parker in disbelief.
What the hell?
Parker had only been hanging around Sean for a few days, and now he had turned into some kind of monster too.
Should I start hanging around Sean for a few days as well?Everyone on the court stared at Parker in shock.
Parker was holding onto a basketball hoop.
Broken glass was scattered all over the ground.
The basketball hoop had been torn down when Parker dunked.
Parker looked at the wreckage and thought to himself:
I really went too far this time.
Sure enough, once the teacher received word of what had happened, he immediately rushed to the basketball court.
After asking the people nearby what had happened, he took the completely innocent-looking Flash and the helpless Parker to the office.
