Boom!
Thor’s right shoulder sank instantly as Mike’s kick struck him.
His entire body was sent crashing downward, smashing heavily into the ice below.
The frozen surface shattered immediately, with fragments of ice surging outward like waves.
Thor climbed out of the crater.
A trace of blood ran from the corner of his mouth, blue lightning arcs crackled around his arm, and Mjolnir let out a low hum in his hand.
He looked up.
Mike was descending back toward the ice.
He grabbed his already damaged suit jacket with his right hand, tore it off his body without a second glance, and threw it behind him.
Thor stepped out of the crater, the lightning around his feet turning the remaining ice fragments into white steam.
“Looks like you are one of Malekith’s people.” “Heh.” Mike looked at Thor with eyes that had, at some point, also been dyed a blood-red color by his Cosmo.
“The legendary Thor has learned how to lie through his teeth just to protect that damned younger brother of his.” Thor’s expression remained cold as lightning wrapped around his body.
“Then tell me.
Where did Malekith go?” Mike gave a mocking laugh.
“I can tell you.
Hand over your precious little brother first, and I guarantee I’ll tell you where Malekith is.” Malekith was already dead.
Mike had killed him himself.
But why should he tell Thor?
Because Thor had tried to stop him from taking revenge on Loki?
That would be no different from someone slapping him and then offering the other side of his face for another hit.
“How Loki is punished is an internal matter of Asgard.
It has nothing to do with you.” “Then I hope you can still say that after I tear his head off.” Mike looked at Thor calmly.
The mocking smile on his face slowly disappeared, replaced by an almost emotionless expression.
“I’m killing Loki.
Anyone who gets in my way dies.” The hatred of having one’s parents murdered was something that could never be forgiven.
No one in this world could stop him from taking revenge.
Not even the future God of Stories, Loki.
And then Mike suddenly realized something.
Odin might not actually interfere with his revenge against Loki.
Because the moment Frigga died, the wheels of Ragnarok had already begun turning.
Odin could no longer stop it.
Or rather, he no longer had the power to act.
The moment Ragnarok began, Odin’s strength had already started fading away.
The remaining power he possessed was probably only enough to maintain the seal on Hela, the Goddess of Death.
He no longer had the strength to do anything else.
That was why, after Loki forced Odin onto Earth, Odin simply gave up, lived as a wandering old man, and was eventually discovered by Doctor Strange and sent to Norway to spend his final days.
It also explained why, after learning that Frigga had died, Odin did not immediately pursue Malekith.
Instead, he ordered Thor not to chase after him either and sealed off all of Asgard’s external passages.
Because the current Odin was only a king in appearance.
A hollow shell.
Therefore, such an Odin was no longer enough to make Mike afraid.
Hearing the endless killing intent hidden within Mike’s cold words, Thor said nothing more.
He simply tightened his grip on Mjolnir.
Lightning climbed along the handle, and he suddenly thrust the hammer forward.
Mjolnir spun through the air, tearing through the atmosphere with a sharp whistle as it smashed toward Mike’s face.
The speed was incredible.
Unfortunately— “Too slow.” Mike slightly turned his head aside.
After avoiding the hammer, Thor followed behind it like a shadow, using the momentum of Mjolnir’s flight to instantly close the distance.
Thor threw a lightning-wrapped punch toward Mike’s abdomen.
At the same time, Mike spoke calmly and raised his right hand, pressing it directly against Thor’s fist.
Boom!
The instant his palm collided with Thor’s fist, blood-red Cosmo and blue-white lightning intertwined and exploded between them.
The force shook the ice beneath their feet, creating a crater three meters wide.
Thor’s fist was completely stopped by Mike’s palm.
Lightning crackled between Mike’s fingers.
The two remained locked together, neither gaining the advantage.
Mike met Thor’s furious gaze, raised an eyebrow, and slowly slid his right foot backward across the ice.
His shoe carved a deep mark into the frozen surface as he adjusted his stance.
Then his five fingers suddenly tightened.
Thor’s fist was trapped in his grasp.
Thor tried to pull his hand back, only to find Mike’s fingers were like iron clamps.
He couldn’t break free.
“I really want to know something.” Mike looked at him.
“If I kill you here, will that younger brother of yours—the one who isn’t related to you by blood but who you protect more than anyone—shed a tear for you?” “MJOLNIR!” Thor roared.
He stretched his free hand toward the distance.
The hammer that had been thrown away several kilometers earlier instantly responded and flew back toward him.
Seeing this, Mike didn’t give Thor the chance to grab it.
His right arm suddenly pulled sideways, dragging Thor off balance and sending his body crashing toward the ice.
The next moment, Mike raised his left elbow and brought it down toward Thor’s chest.
The Cosmo concentrated at his elbow’s tip dragged a blood-red arc through the air.
After realizing the truth about Odin, Mike no longer held anything back.
He burned his Cosmo and attacked Thor with his full strength.
“Marvel protagonists can’t be killed?” “Ridiculous.” Mike was the protagonist of his own story.
And in his story, there was no one who couldn’t be killed.
Especially someone who tried to stop him from taking revenge.
Anyone who became his enemy deserved to die.
Although Thor’s combat experience was inferior to Mike’s, Thor was still a warrior.
So the moment he hit the ground, he immediately rolled to the side.
Mike’s elbow smashed into the ice beside him, blasting out a crater half a meter deep.
Cracks spread outward from the impact point, accompanied by a deep rumbling sound as the ice broke apart.
Thor rolled back onto his feet and caught Mjolnir as it returned from the distance.
He dropped to one knee, using the hammer to support himself against the ice.
He was breathing heavily, and the blood from the corner of his mouth dripped onto the frozen ground.
He looked up at Mike.
Mike pulled his elbow out of the ice and stared back expressionlessly.
His Cosmo burned fiercely within him, causing the air around his body to distort from the heat and pressure.
Then— Mike moved.
Thor moved as well.
The instant Mike vanished from his original position, Thor raised Mjolnir above his head.
Lightning gathered around his entire body.
But at that moment— Boom!
A rainbow-colored beam unique to the Bifrost tore down from the clouds and instantly enveloped Thor.
With a deafening roar, Mike’s figure appeared beside the rainbow beam.
However, the sudden arrival of the Bifrost’s force sent him flying backward in the opposite direction.
The next second, the descending rainbow beam narrowed into a single point and vanished into the sky.
