As soon as Kevin arrived, his gaze was drawn to the scene inside the glass partition not far away.

Inside, an operation was underway.

A Mutant, wearing a Mutant control collar around his neck, had his limbs fixed to the operating table.Full novel: Marvel: Starting as a Level 5 Mutant — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Doctors were dissecting him…

Seeing the organs being removed one by one, Kevin’s expression turned somewhat grim.

Seemingly noticing his expression, Gil looked indifferent and sneered, “That man is going to die.

This is just making use of waste.” With that, his gaze turned to the young man in front of him, filled with malice.

“Don’t worry, you’ll soon be like him.

He won’t be alone; you’ll go down and join him.” “Haha…” Gil burst into laughter, his voice full of satisfaction, seemingly hating Mutants deeply.

Just then, a sound of footsteps came from ahead, and a group of researchers in white coats approached.

The middle-aged experimenter leading them scrutinized Kevin, observing the handsome young man with short dark brown hair, azure eyes, and a very pale complexion.

He asked, his voice as calm as Water, “Is this Thirty-seven?” As he observed, he picked up a stack of documents in his hand and looked down to examine them.

“Yes, this is the guy,” Gil, behind Kevin, nodded.

With that, he raised his right hand and pushed Kevin hard in the back, seemingly trying to push him into the hands of those people.

However, to his surprise, this timid and submissive Mutant actually dodged his hand.

“Hmm?” “You dare to dodge?” Gil was both surprised and astonished, followed immediately by anger.

He reached out to grab Kevin, but was dodged again.

Seeing this, the middle-aged researcher at the front showed a fleeting look of disgust, frowned slightly, and said, “Thirty-seven, what do you intend to do?

I advise you not to resist, otherwise…” He didn’t think the young man in front of him, wearing a Mutant controller, could do anything significant.

However, such resistance would be troublesome and waste a lot of his experimental time.

“Kid, you’re in for it!” Gil sneered, a cruel glint in his eyes, about to teach this Mutant who dared to resist him a profound lesson.

Moreover, the kid’s repeated resistance and disobedience had only infuriated him further.

The researchers nearby all wore expressions of watching a good show.

This wasn’t the first time they’d seen such a thing; these Mutant freaks never learned their lesson, always trying to struggle in vain.

In the end, without exception, they were all miserably dealt with.

Everyone felt this time would be no exception, watching with expressions of anticipation.

However, before they could see Gil pounce and subdue the young man, they heard the young man, who in their eyes was like a lamb, say calmly, “You’re in for it too.” What?

Before the others could react, Kevin quickly raised his right index finger and aimed it at the core of the Mutant controller.

[Black Particle Experience +1] A precise Black Particle shot from his finger, and to everyone’s astonished expressions, it devoured the core of the Mutant controller.

With a ‘puchi’ sound, the nearby metal wall was pierced with a hole by the aftershock, and the Mutant controller was torn off.

“What?” “Oh, my God!” Gil and the others were first shocked, then terrified.

“Stop!” “What are you doing?!” Both Gil and the middle-aged researcher lost their composure, their faces filled with panic.

“I’m going to let you experience Death, you bunch of scum.” Kevin was full of murderous intent, first pointing at Gil, then towards the middle-aged researcher.

[Black Particle Experience +1] [Black Particle Experience +1] Two Black Particles appeared, shooting towards them one after another with a speed that ordinary people couldn’t react to.

“Ah…” A scream rang out.

The tall, burly White man, Gil, clutched his pierced chest, his face filled with panic and terror.

Then two more screams.

Another Black Particle, hitting two birds with one stone, struck the middle-aged researcher and the person behind him.

Screams erupted everywhere.

The remaining three researchers fled in disarray, and the entire Experiment Base quickly descended into chaos.

“Impossible, how could you have such a Mutant ability!” Gil’s face was covered in terror and confusion, and the middle-aged researcher lying on the ground also looked bewildered.

They clearly remembered that this Thirty-seven was just a good-for-nothing with only the ability to absorb sunlight.

When did he gain the ability to fire high-energy lasers?

Seeing Kevin point at him again, this time at his head, Gil stammered in terror, “Don’t…” Kevin stomped on the man’s face, grinding his foot hard, and looking at his flushed, suffocated expression, he felt quite good.

He smiled and asked, “Weren’t you very arrogant before?” “I…” Gil was furious, gritting his teeth, wishing he could kill the person in front of him, but he had to beg, “Don’t kill…” Unfortunately, before he could finish his sentence, the dark Black Particle wave shot into his head under his unwilling gaze.

[Black Particle Experience +1] With a ‘puchi’ sound, the tall White man instantly died, and disgusting fluid flowed from his pierced nostril.

Kevin felt his depressed mood instantly lift, but unfortunately, he didn’t have much time to relax now; he had to hurry and escape.

Turning to the middle-aged researcher lying on the ground, he ran over and began to search him.

“What do you want to do?!” Arsen cried in terror.

Kevin ignored him, quickly took his ID card, then paused.

A familiar prompt sounded in his ear.

[You see several scattered documents on the ground, and seem to have discovered something on them…] Just a casual glance, and he couldn’t help but be shocked.

He saw that it contained some of his information, and it was incredibly detailed.

Just reading the beginning, he was stunned.

Thirty-seven, a failed infant created by gene debugging using the genes of ‘Magneto Mark Eisenhardt’ and ‘Professor X Charles Francis Xavier’, sent for adoption by a family XX years ago…

Looking at the information, even Kevin couldn’t help but show a look of shock.

What does this mean?

Does it mean he was created from the genes of Magneto and Professor X?

In a sense, he could even be considered the child of Professor X and Magneto?!

Kevin was dumbfounded, feeling utterly shocked.

What kind of ridiculous identity is this?

Is Marvel’s black technology that awesome?

Ignoring his shock, listening to the piercing alarm blaring throughout the Experiment Base, he quickly grabbed the ID card and paper documents and turned to run towards the metal door.

As for the middle-aged researcher and the other researcher lying on the ground, he didn’t attack them further.

Being hit by his Black Particle wouldn’t be pleasant; it wasn’t like a gunshot wound, but rather a part of their flesh and blood had simply vanished!

Just the missing internal organs and the continuously bleeding wounds would be enough to give them a hard time.

They would slowly die in agony; dying instantly would be more merciful.
