Roy didn’t immediately approach Parker.

Only after Parker used his webs to hang a group of low-level robbers who had held up a supermarket from a streetlamp, then landed on the rooftop of a nearby building, did Roy guide his sand cloud over to him.

“You came looking for me?” Parker asked immediately.Full novel: Marvel: Starting as the One-Tail Jinchūriki — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Roy nodded.

“Yes.” “What do you want?” Parker continued.

“Give me a vial of your blood.” Roy had no intention of beating around the bush.

My blood?

Parker immediately frowned.

Although he had no idea what Roy was planning, his instincts told him that agreeing would probably be a bad idea.

“What do you want my blood for?” Parker stared at Roy warily.

“You don’t need to know.” “You have two choices.” “First, willingly give me a vial of blood.” “Second, I beat you down and take a vial by force.” “If you choose the first option, then the next time you run into trouble, I’ll voluntarily help you once.” “If you choose the second, all you’ll get is a beating.” Roy spoke unhurriedly, paying no attention to Parker’s vigilance.

Compared to an ordinary person, Parker was certainly powerful.

But compared to Roy— Parker wasn’t much different from an ordinary person.

“I’m not giving you my blood!” Parker immediately assumed a fighting stance.

Why make things difficult for yourself?

Wouldn’t it have been better to just pick the first option?

Roy sighed inwardly and circulated his chakra.

Then he decisively attacked.

Temporary Paralysis Jutsu!

The Temporary Paralysis Jutsu, also known as the Body Immobilization Technique, existed in both ninjutsu and genjutsu forms.

Regardless of which version was used, its effect was the same— To bind an enemy in place and deprive them of the ability to move.

The version Roy was currently using was the ninjutsu form.

Compared to the genjutsu version, the ninjutsu form was somewhat weaker and could only be used effectively against targets far weaker than the caster.

But against Parker— It was more than sufficient.

The instant Roy began circulating chakra, Parker’s Spider-Sense warned him of danger.

Even so, Parker still failed to avoid the Temporary Paralysis Jutsu.

Although he’d been Spider-Man for some time now, every opponent he’d dealt with so far had been an ordinary criminal.

He had virtually no experience fighting other superhumans.

And even if he did, he still wouldn’t have been able to dodge this technique.

That was because the Temporary Paralysis Jutsu had no visible sign of activation.

Spider-Sense was certainly an excellent sensory ability.

But it wasn’t precognition.

It didn’t allow Parker to see the future ahead of time.

It merely warned him when danger was approaching.

Before Parker could do anything, a powerful and invisible restraining force locked his entire body in place.

He remained frozen in his fighting stance, unable to move.

“What did you do to me?” Parker shouted.

Roy didn’t answer.

Instead, he took a syringe out of his system storage.

After removing the protective cap from the needle, he walked toward Parker.

At the same time, the sand forming his sand cloud flew back into the small gourd at his waist.

Parker possessed spider-enhanced physical abilities.

His strength, speed, stamina, healing ability, senses, reflexes, and other physical capabilities were all far beyond those of an ordinary human.

Even so, Roy’s Temporary Paralysis Jutsu could still restrain him for one or two minutes.

One or two minutes wasn’t particularly long.

But it was more than enough time to draw a vial of blood.

Watching Roy get closer and closer, Parker quickly said, “Can I choose the first option now?” “Adults have to take responsibility for their choices.” “You already made yours.” Roy shook his head.

Parker fell silent.

Once Roy reached him, he removed the glove from Parker’s right hand and pulled the tight-fitting sleeve up slightly.

Then he inserted the needle into a vein.

After drawing the blood, Roy stored the syringe inside the system storage.

“Since you didn’t scream and make a scene, I’ll skip the beating this time.” With that, he released the Temporary Paralysis Jutsu.

Flying Raijin Jutsu!

The next second— Roy vanished from Parker’s sight as though he’d never been there at all.

…

Los Angeles.

The workshop inside Tony’s seaside mansion.

“Could you give me some warning before showing up next time?” Tony put down the tool in his hand and sighed helplessly.

“Sure.” Roy removed his mask and stored the mask, Akatsuki cloak, and gourd inside the system storage.

Tony nodded in satisfaction.

“So, what do you need?” “Did Gwen change her mind and decide not to attend Empire State University?” “No.” Roy replied.

“I came here because I need your help solving a few scientific and technological problems.” Scientific problems?

Tony looked at him in surprise before grinning.

“Then you came to the right person.” “I’m not bragging when I say there aren’t many scientists in the world better than me.” “If I can’t solve it, other people probably can’t either.” Roy didn’t argue.

Instead, he took several items out of his system storage and placed them in front of Tony.

The venom extracted from the super spiders.

Their research data.

Parker’s blood sample.

And the physical-enhancement formula.

“This formula was developed by Oscorp at the military’s request.” “It can grant a person physical capabilities far beyond those of an ordinary human.” “But the formula isn’t perfect.” “After using it, there’s a certain chance of developing side effects such as violent tendencies, aggression, and insanity.” “I want you to improve its enhancement effect while eliminating the side effects.” Roy pointed toward the blood sample.

“This vial contains Spider-Man’s blood.” “Columbia University’s Science Center created fifteen super spiders through genetic engineering.” “He was bitten by one of them, which caused a genetic mutation and gave him spider-based superpowers.” “I couldn’t find the spider that bit him.” “But I collected venom from the other fourteen.” “The venom is in this container.” “And the USB drive contains the research data on all fifteen super spiders.” “In a few hours, I’ll bring you a sample of Gwen’s blood.” “I want you to compare Spider-Man’s genetic mutation with Gwen’s blood sample and test the venom from the remaining fourteen super spiders.” “See whether Gwen can undergo the same kind of genetic mutation and obtain spider powers.” “If the venom from those fourteen spiders can’t reproduce the same genetic mutation in Gwen…” “Then I want you to use Spider-Man’s blood sample as the core reference, combine it with what you learn from the physical-enhancement formula, and develop a spider serum capable of giving Gwen spider powers.” “If you need any other research materials or data, I’ll find a way to get them.” Roy had no intention of hiding his goal from Tony.

He explained everything directly.

After listening, Tony responded casually, “So this is all for Gwen.” “I thought you were planning to mass-produce Spider-Men and super soldiers.” “Biotechnology and genetic engineering aren’t my strongest fields, but this isn’t beyond me.” “I can help.” “The only question is…” Tony looked at Roy.

“How much are you willing to pay for my assistance?” Roy asked directly, “What do you want?” “I want to know what kind of energy you used when you defeated Obadiah.” Tony answered without hesitation.

“I had JARVIS analyze all the data we collected in detail.” “The results show that the energy you use doesn’t match any known form of energy.” “Even if I tell you what it is, you won’t be able to reproduce it.” “Much less manufacture it.” Roy replied.

“I know.” “But I still want to know.” Tony continued.

“Since you’re that curious, fine.” “I’ll tell you.” “The energy I use is called chakra.” “It’s produced through the perfect fusion of spiritual energy and physical energy.” Roy explained slowly.

Even if he told Tony about chakra, Roy wasn’t worried that Tony would somehow figure out how to produce it.

Because the humans of this world fundamentally couldn’t generate chakra.

Humans in the Naruto world possessed approximately 130 trillion cells in their bodies.

A normal adult human in this world, meanwhile, had only around 30 to 40 trillion cells.

That was three to four times fewer.

And that was only the difference in cell count.

If all the other differences were taken into consideration as well— The humans of the Naruto world and the humans of this world could practically be considered two entirely different species.
