After spending some time in the forest experiencing what it felt like to transform into the One-Tail—and briefly testing the power of Wind Style: Drilling Air Bullet—Roy ended his Tailed Beast transformation and returned to his normal human form.

He didn’t test the power of Magnet Release Sealing Jutsu or the Tailed Beast Ball.

There wasn’t much to say about the Magnet Release sealing technique.Full novel: Marvel: Starting as the One-Tail Jinchūriki — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

At the moment, he simply didn’t have anything that needed to be sealed.

As for the Tailed Beast Ball— It wasn’t convenient to test.

If Wind Style: Drilling Air Bullet could only cause localized destruction to the forest, then a Tailed Beast Ball could flatten the entire forest.

Its effect wouldn’t be much different from detonating a high-yield nuclear bomb.

Although Roy was more than a hundred kilometers away from New York City, firing a Tailed Beast Ball here would still be noticeable to people in the city and would inevitably cause unnecessary panic.

After returning to human form, Roy didn’t waste any time.

He immediately used the Flying Raijin Jutsu.

In an instant, he disappeared from the devastated forest and returned to his villa on the Upper East Side.

The Upper East Side was located in eastern Manhattan.

To the west lay the famous Fifth Avenue, while the East River bordered it to the east.

The district stretched from 59th Street in the south to 96th Street in the north.

Centered around the eastern side of Central Park, the area was one of New York’s most famous luxury shopping districts and upscale residential neighborhoods.

By the third month after transmigrating into this world, Roy had already made fifty million dollars.

He then spent more than twenty million buying a luxurious villa here.

After returning home, Roy headed straight to the bathroom in the master suite.

He planned to soak in a hot bath and relax properly.

…

Washington, D.C.

S.H.I.E.L.D.

Headquarters.

The Triskelion.

Director’s Office.

Nick Fury, dressed in a black leather coat, sat behind his desk and stared at the computer screen in front of him, reading the report Coulson had just submitted.

The moment Roy’s name appeared in the report, Fury frowned.

He was considering whether to have Coulson continue investigating the terrorists responsible for Tony’s kidnapping or end the investigation and return to headquarters when a knock sounded at the door.

“Come in!” Fury closed Coulson’s report and spoke.

The office door opened.

A beautiful female agent stepped inside.

She had wine-red hair and wore a skin-tight black combat suit that perfectly accentuated her voluptuous figure.

She was none other than— Black Widow, Natasha Romanoff.

After approaching Fury’s desk, Natasha immediately said, “Half an hour ago, an unexplained explosion occurred in a forest more than a hundred kilometers from New York City.” “Agents from the New York branch have already arrived at the scene and are conducting a further investigation.” With that, she handed Fury the tablet in her hand.

Fury accepted it and saw the live footage being transmitted back from the scene.

After quickly looking it over, he asked, “Have they identified what caused the explosion?” Natasha shook her head.

“No known explosive materials were found at the site.” “Also, judging by the traces left behind and some of the collapsed trees, an enormous creature appears to have been present.” “We still can’t determine exactly what kind of creature it was.” “But I suspect…” Seeing Natasha hesitate, Fury frowned.

“You suspect the giant creature responsible for the unexplained explosion has something to do with Roy?” “Yes.” Natasha nodded.

“Is there any evidence at the scene pointing to him?” Fury continued.

“No.” “But my instincts tell me this probably has something to do with him.” Natasha answered without hesitation.

Fury set the tablet down and fell silent.

After thinking for several seconds, he looked at Natasha.

“Did you watch the press conference Tony Stark held earlier?” Natasha looked at him in confusion.

“I did.

He announced that he was shutting down the weapons division.” “Coulson was at the press conference.” “He saw Roy there.” “Roy personally admitted that he was the one who rescued Stark.” “Stark’s secretary hired him, so he made a trip to Afghanistan and brought Stark back.” Fury explained slowly.

Natasha was just about to say something when Fury continued, “A guy calling himself the Green Goblin has recently appeared in New York.” “Barring anything unexpected, he’s probably a superhuman just like Spider-Man.” “Go to New York and investigate him.” “As for the giant creature in the forest…” “You and Roy could be considered old acquaintances.” “Stop by his place while you’re there and confirm whether he had anything to do with it.” “If he really was responsible, tell the New York branch to end the investigation and seal the file.” Natasha didn’t object.

“All right.

I’ll head over now.” With that, she turned and left the office under Fury’s watchful gaze.

After watching Natasha leave, Fury let out a complicated sigh.

…

That evening.

Roy’s villa.

The doorbell suddenly rang.

Hearing it, Roy paused the single-player action game he was playing in the first-floor game room.

He put down the controller and used the Body Flicker Jutsu to leave the room.

When he opened the front door, Natasha appeared before him.

She was wearing a long, form-fitting black dress.

Roy had ordered Chinese takeout earlier and had assumed the person ringing the bell was the delivery guy.

He hadn’t expected it to be Natasha.

“Why are you here?” Roy frowned.

“Why can’t it be me?” Natasha replied with a smile.

“What do you want?” Roy didn’t bother wasting time guessing why she’d come.

“Why don’t we talk inside?” Natasha gave him a seductive, captivating smile and spoke in a soft voice.

Roy shrugged and turned toward the living room.

Natasha quickly followed.

After entering the villa, she didn’t forget to close the door behind her.

Before long, they reached the living room.

Roy casually sat down on the sofa.

“Let’s not waste each other’s time.” “You came all the way here from Washington, D.C.

You’re obviously not here just to catch up.” “So tell me.” “What exactly do you want?” Natasha sat down opposite him and crossed her legs.

“Coulson saw you in Los Angeles.” “When did you come back?” Roy didn’t answer her question.

“I already told you.” “Don’t waste our time.” Hearing that, Natasha stopped beating around the bush.

“At noon today, an unexplained explosion occurred in a forest more than a hundred kilometers away.” “There were traces indicating that some enormous creature had appeared at the scene.” “I want to know…” “Did it have anything to do with you?” “Why would you think it had anything to do with me?” Roy asked with interest as he looked Natasha over.

Her outfit today consisted of a curve-hugging black dress with the unmistakably mature, seductive vibe of a “hot stepmom” look, paired with thin-heeled, red-soled stilettos.

Right now, Natasha looked exceptionally sexy.

“Intuition!” Natasha answered without the slightest hesitation.
