A classroom.

Sitting by the window, Roy gazed at the scenery outside and let out a helpless sigh.

This shouldn’t have happened!

How did I end up transmigrating into the Marvel Universe?

I was supposed to go to the world of One Piece!

That’s right.

Roy was not a native of the Marvel Universe.

He was a transmigrator.

More precisely, his soul had transmigrated into the body of a young -American mutant.

Coincidentally, the original owner of this body had also been named Roy.

Hearing him sigh, Iceman Bobby, who was sitting beside him, immediately turned his head and asked quietly, “Roy, what’s wrong?

Are you feeling sick?” “No.

I’m just a little bored.” Roy immediately replied.

“Pay attention in class.

There are only about ten minutes left.” Bobby said before turning his attention back to his current girlfriend, Rogue.

Although Roy had only transmigrated into this universe that morning, he had already figured out what kind of universe he had landed in.

First, mutants existed here, so this clearly wasn’t purely the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Second, the Fantastic Four also existed, so this wasn’t purely the X-Men film universe either.

Finally, judging by the current situation, events from the X-Men film universe would most likely still happen here.

After all, the Liberty Island incident that had resulted in Magneto’s imprisonment had taken place just over a month ago.

The fact that Rogue was now attending the school and had already become Bobby’s girlfriend further confirmed it.

Some things here were exactly as Roy remembered them.

Others were completely different.

For example, at the school, he had already seen Magneto’s daughter, Polaris—Lorna Dane—as well as “Sabretooth’s foster daughter, Blink—Clarice Ferguson.” Not only had he transmigrated into the wrong world, but he had even landed in a Marvel Universe that differed from the one he remembered.

Whenever Roy thought about that, he couldn’t decide whether he was lucky or unlucky.

After calming himself down, he opened the system interface that only he could see.

Host: Roy Race: Human (Mutant, Devil Fruit User) Devil Fruit: Fish-Fish Fruit, Mythical Zoan, Model: Azure Dragon (Mutating) Haki: None Strength: 13.3 (Punching Force: 1.54 tons) Speed: 7.2 Constitution: 12.9 Spirit: 5.2 Bounty: 50 Berries X-Gene Superpower: Blazing Heat Mission: None Storage Space: Unlocked System Shop: Locked (Under Maintenance; Reopening Time Unknown) … Looking over his current stats, Roy discovered that his attributes had increased again compared to that morning.

According to the system’s explanation, the four core attributes of an ordinary adult man were all around 1.

Judging solely by his attributes, Roy could already be considered a fairly capable mutant.

Yet he wasn’t happy at all.

Perhaps because he had transmigrated into the wrong world, the Devil Fruit he had obtained seemed somewhat different from the one he remembered.

As a Mythical Zoan, under normal circumstances, the moment he obtained the Fish-Fish Fruit, Mythical Zoan, Model: Azure Dragon, he should have gained the immense power of an Azure Dragon.

Of course, there was no way he could instantly possess strength comparable to Kaido’s, but his physical attributes definitely shouldn’t have been this low.

This was the Fish-Fish Fruit, Mythical Zoan, Model: Azure Dragon, not some ordinary Zoan Devil Fruit.

Besides, the word “Mutating” displayed beside his Devil Fruit was more than enough to prove that something about it wasn’t quite right.

Judging from the fact that his physical attributes were still steadily increasing, Roy guessed that the power of the Fish-Fish Fruit, Mythical Zoan, Model: Azure Dragon would gradually manifest until the word “Mutating” disappeared entirely.

Otherwise, he couldn’t think of any other explanation for why his attributes kept increasing even though he hadn’t done anything.

Although he couldn’t immediately obtain the tremendous power of an Azure Dragon, this wasn’t necessarily a bad thing overall.

Having his strength increase gradually would give him more time to adapt to it.

That way, he wouldn’t end up possessing tremendous power while being unable to properly control it.

Besides, he had already experienced what it was like to suddenly gain an enormous boost in power without being able to control it properly.

Blazing Heat!

Not long after transmigrating into this world that morning, Roy had tested his mutant ability, Blazing Heat.

Blazing Heat: An X-gene superpower.

When activated, it greatly increases the user’s strength, speed, and constitution for a short period of time.

That was the system’s description of the ability.

When Roy activated Blazing Heat, he had opened his status panel and checked it.

Under the effects of Blazing Heat, his four core attributes had skyrocketed to roughly three to five times their normal values.

The sudden surge in physical ability certainly felt incredible.

But Blazing Heat had a drawback as well.

After using it, Roy would enter a weakened state for a period of time.

Judging from his first—and so far only—experience using it, activating Blazing Heat once left him weak for approximately an hour.

It felt as though every last ounce of strength had been drained from his body!

Although he had only experienced it once, Roy was absolutely certain that he hated that feeling.

Still, if he ever found himself in a situation where Blazing Heat was necessary, he wouldn’t hesitate to use it.

After all, compared to the weakness of feeling completely drained, death was obviously much worse.

After reviewing his current attributes, Roy closed the status panel that only he could see.

A little over ten minutes later, the biology class taught by Storm, Ororo Munroe, finally ended.

As soon as Storm left the classroom, a girl who looked around seventeen or eighteen approached Roy.

She had long magenta hair, pale green eyes, delicate features, fair skin, and distinctly Chinese facial features.

She was none other than Sabretooth’s adopted daughter, Blink—Clarice Ferguson.

Blink looked completely different between the comics and live-action adaptations.

In the comics, she had purple skin and pink hair.

In live-action television and film, however, although Blink still had long magenta hair and pale green eyes, her skin tone was normal.

She simply looked like someone who had dyed her hair and was wearing colored contact lenses.

Appearance-wise, the Clarice standing before Roy looked more like a younger version of Blink from X-Men: Days of Future Past.

“She single-handedly defined the beauty standards of an era and, without shedding a drop of blood, inspired women across China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan to slim down their jawlines!” The Blink standing in front of Roy looked almost exactly like a younger version of that woman.

“What is it?” Seeing Clarice approach him, Roy spoke first.

“Um… thank you for yesterday.” Clarice spoke timidly.

Yesterday?

What happened yesterday?

Roy, who had only transmigrated into this body that morning, stared at Clarice in confusion.

Although his soul had entered this body, he had not completely inherited the original owner’s memories.

“You don’t remember what happened yesterday?” Seeing the confusion on Roy’s face, Clarice hurriedly asked.
