New York, Hell’s Kitchen.

Inside a dim basement, Levi looked at the pale but handsome face in the mirror and let out a helpless sigh.

“Even if this face is a ten, this starting position is way too ‘Hell’ mode, isn’t it?” Levi rubbed his throbbing temples, digesting the memories that had just merged with his own.Full novel: Marvel: The SCP Foundation’s Supreme Administrator — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

The good news: he had transmigrated.

Moreover, he was in the middle of prosperous New York, and he had inherited a six-story old apartment building.

The bad news: this was the Marvel Universe.

Yes, the Marvel Universe where a giant purple sweet potato could wipe out half the universe’s population with a snap of his fingers, where alien invasions were a weekly occurrence, where supervillains were as common as stray dogs, and superheroes roamed the streets.

Just a moment ago, the news had been broadcasting the disappearance of Tony Stark in the Middle East and the subsequent plummeting of Stark Industries’ stock.

“Iron Man hasn’t been born yet.

That means the plot is just beginning…” Levi slumped onto an old sofa.

As an ordinary person without any superpowers, what were his odds of survival in the Marvel world?

They were probably lower than winning the lottery.

The original owner of this body had died because he refused to pay protection money to the gang under Kingpin.

He had been struck on the head from behind last night.

Not only were his last few hundred dollars stolen, but he didn’t pull through, allowing Levi to take over.

“This broken apartment building can’t even be sold.

Real estate in Hell’s Kitchen is no different from waste paper.” Levi gave a bitter laugh.

Never mind being a mastermind behind the scenes in this dangerous world—he didn’t even know where his money for tomorrow’s breakfast was coming from.

If those gangsters came back tomorrow, he’d likely just die all over again.

“This is pathetic.

Where’s my Golden Finger?” Just as Levi was complaining inwardly, a cold prompt suddenly rang out in his mind.

[Detected: Host’s soul fluctuations are stable.

Binding conditions met…] [System activating…] [Activation successful!] [This system is designed to assist the host in handling all supernatural phenomena.] Levi lunged up from the sofa, the dead look in his eyes instantly replaced by an incredible spark of hope.

The system!

It might have been late, but it arrived!

Levi’s heart began to race.

The supervillains, aliens, and even the so-called “gods” of the Marvel world likely couldn’t hold a candle to certain eldritch horrors.

“System, do I have a newcomer’s gift bag?” Levi asked impatiently.

He was dirt poor right now.

If the system asked him to go handle a giant lizard or a shy guy right now, he might as well just slit his own throat.

[Newcomer’s gift bag has been issued.

Host, please check.] As the system’s voice faded, a virtual panel appeared before Levi that only he could see.

The panel was simple, divided into several sections: [Tasks], [Store], [Lottery], [Personnel], and [Facilities].

In the inventory slot, a red gift bag sat quietly.

“Open it!” Levi commanded mentally.

[Ding!

Congratulations, Host, you have obtained: Site (Basic Form).] [Ding!

Congratulations, Host, you have obtained: C-Class Personnel × 10 (Completely loyal, equipped with basic armaments).] [Ding!

Congratulations, Host, you have obtained: Agent × 1 (Randomly drawn).] [Ding!

Congratulations, Host, you have obtained: Random Summoning Card × 1.] [Note: The Site has automatically merged with the apartment building under the host’s name.

The host can modify and expand it at any time.] A series of prompts left Levi momentarily overwhelmed.

Before he could react, the ground beneath his feet vibrated slightly.

Immediately after, the dilapidated basement began to change at a speed visible to the naked eye.

The mottled walls transformed into high-tech, silver-white metal surfaces.

The moldy floor turned into hardened alloy, and the dim lighting was replaced by bright but comfortable cool lights.

In just a few seconds, this basement—which had looked like a dump—transformed into a futuristic, sci-fi command center.

A massive holographic projection screen appeared in the center, surrounded by rows of sophisticated control consoles.

Levi stared at everything before him in shock.

This wasn’t just a visual impact; it was a symbol of power.

With this base, he finally had a foundation to stand on in the Marvel world.

“System, what about the randomly drawn agent?” Levi recalled the reward.

As soon as he spoke, the command center’s doors slid open silently.

An Asian woman wearing a black tactical trench coat, tall and with short, sharp hair, walked in.

Her expression was cold, her eyes sharp as blades.

Two uniquely designed pistols were holstered at her waist, and she radiated a chilling aura that warned others to stay away.

The woman walked up to Levi, dropped to one knee, and said in a cool, respectful voice: “Ada Wong, reporting to the High Administrator.” Levi froze for a second.

Ada Wong?

The one from Resident Evil?

Good heavens, did the system include agents from all across the multiverse?

Looking at the cold and beautiful agent who was both familiar and strange, Levi felt his heart settle.

With Auntie Ada here, never mind ordinary street thugs—even if SHIELD agents came knocking, he wouldn’t be afraid.

“Rise,” Levi said, trying his best to sound authoritative, stepping into the role of the “High Administrator.” Ada Wong stood up and silently moved behind Levi, standing like a most loyal guardian.

Next was the main event.

Levi looked at the shimmering card in his inventory—the Random Summoning Card.

According to the system description, he could only obtain points by successfully handling anomalies or by causing people in this world to feel fear or shock toward anomalous items.

These points could then be used in the store to buy black technology or summon more personnel.

It was a cycle.

“System, use the Random Summoning Card!” Levi took a deep breath and gave the command.

Although the card was labeled with “Safe” and “Certain Danger” levels, even a Safe-class item could sometimes cause a massive disaster.

Please, don’t let it be an ancestor I can’t handle!

The card on the virtual screen shattered instantly, reforming into countless points of light.

A few seconds later, a card with an eerie pattern appeared in the center of the screen.

[Ding!

Congratulations, Host, you have successfully summoned: The Plague Doctor!] [Current Status: Deployed to an abandoned hospital two kilometers away from the host.] [Please proceed as soon as possible to avoid large-scale civilian casualties or exposure.] Looking at the classic image on the screen—the bird-beak mask and the black robes—Levi’s lip couldn’t help but twitch.

Zero-Four-Nine!

The bird-beak doctor who spent all day shouting about “The Pestilence” and then turning people into zombies?

The system considers this thing only “partially dangerous”?

If this thing was allowed to wander around downtown New York for a while, it could create a zombie army in minutes!

Levi felt his scalp tingle.

Although the doctor seemed refined and could chat with you about philosophy and medicine, those “lethal touch” and “surgical modification” abilities were a nightmare for ordinary people.

To make matters worse, the system had dropped him at an abandoned hospital two kilometers away.

That was a gathering spot for the homeless and addicts of Hell’s Kitchen!

Once the Plague Doctor decided those people had “The Pestilence”…

The image was too much; Levi didn’t want to think about it.

“We must act immediately!” Levi decided on the spot.

“Ada, gather the ten C-Class personnel, bring heavy weapons.

We have work to do.” Levi turned around, his eyes flashing with a mix of excitement and tension.

This was not just his first mission; it was the first shot fired to make a name for himself in this world.

Ada Wong didn’t waste words, responding crisply: “Yes, sir!” …

At that moment, two kilometers away from the Site, at St.

Mary’s Abandoned Hospital.

Night shrouded the long-deserted building, the deathly silence broken only by the occasional siren or distant gunshot.

Inside the hospital’s underground morgue, several filthy homeless men were huddled around a bonfire for warmth, clutching syringes and low-grade alcohol they’d scavenged from somewhere.

“Hey, you hear?

It hasn’t been peaceful around here lately.

People are disappearing.” A homeless man with a mouth full of yellow teeth said, shivering.

“In this hellhole, it’s only weird if people *don’t* go missing,” another burly man sneered.

He was about to bring a bottle to his lips when suddenly, the sound of steady, elegant footsteps echoed from the depths of the corridor.

*Tap.

Tap.

Tap.* The sound of leather shoes striking hard floor tiles was exceptionally clear in the empty basement.

The homeless men instantly became alert, grabbing nearby improvised weapons.

“Who’s there?” the burly man barked.

Out of the darkness, a slender figure slowly emerged.

It was a strange man dressed in medieval black robes, wearing a hood and a pale bird-beak mask.

He carried a black, old-fashioned medical bag, and the eyes beneath the mask revealed a chilling sense of calm and pity.

The figure looked around at the trembling men and let out a soft sigh.

“Oh, what a terrible sight…” He slowly raised a hand, pointing at the burly man.

“This place is infested with the Pestilence.” “Do not be afraid.

I am a doctor.

I am here to…

cure you.”
