A deafening collision exploded across the streets of Harlem.

It sounded like two speeding trains crashing head-on.

The shockwave rolled outward, flipping roadside cars, shattering windows, and throwing dust, glass, and broken concrete into the air.Full novel: Marvel: The Siren’s Awakening — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Hulk and Abomination clashed again.

Hulk’s massive green fist slammed into Abomination’s face with terrifying force, snapping the monster’s head sideways.

But Abomination only shook it off and roared in anger.

He grabbed Hulk’s arm, twisted his body, and threw him over his shoulder.

Hulk crashed into the street so hard that the already cracked asphalt caved into a huge crater.

A second later, Hulk burst from the pit with another roar.

This time, his movements were sharper.

The confusion from his sudden transformation was fading.

Anger filled his body, and with that anger came strength.

Every punch he threw tore through the air with a heavy whistle.

He was no longer being suppressed as easily as before.

But Abomination was not just a mindless monster.

Before becoming this creature, Emil Blonsky had been a trained special forces soldier.

Even after his transformation, his fighting experience remained carved into his instincts.

He dodged Hulk’s heavy punches with surprising precision, then struck back with elbows, knees, and sharp bone spurs whenever Hulk exposed an opening.

After several exchanges, more wounds appeared on Hulk’s body.

Green blood dripped from his arms and splashed onto the broken road.

But pain only made Hulk angrier.

High above the battlefield, Emily leaned against the edge of her jellyfish rigging and watched the brutal fight below.

“As expected,” she murmured.

“If Hulk handles this alone, it’ll still take a while.”

Her fingertips brushed through a stream of floating code as she checked Breaker II’s reload progress.

The armor-piercing main cannons needed twelve seconds before the next full volley.

Twelve seconds was not long.

But in a battle between monsters, twelve seconds was enough for several buildings to collapse.

Below, Abomination had once again forced Hulk back.

He grabbed a broken steel bar from the ruins and raised it above Hulk’s chest.

Emily did not hesitate.

“Breaker II, switch to melee mode,” she ordered through the tactical link.

“Continue main cannon loading.

Preheat secondary batteries.

Prepare for close-range impact.

Target: Abomination.

Restrict his movement and coordinate with Hulk.”

[Command confirmed.

Melee mode switch complete.

Initiating.]

The moment the cold mechanical voice faded, Breaker II’s auxiliary thrusters burst to life.

Blue flames roared from both sides of the massive rigging.

The battleship unit shot forward like an arrow released from a bow.

Abomination heard the air split behind him.

He tried to turn.

Too late.

Breaker II slammed into his back like a warship striking a reef.

BOOM!

The impact shook the entire street.

Abomination’s massive body was blasted forward.

The steel bar flew from his hand, spinning through the air before stabbing into a nearby apartment wall.

He rolled across the road for more than a dozen meters before finally stopping, coughing dark green blood onto the pavement.

As the dust settled, everyone saw Breaker II clearly.

The massive rigging stood firmly in front of Hulk.

Its black-gray armor carried only a shallow dent from the collision.

There was no structural damage at all.

Eight main cannon barrels remained in loading position, gleaming with cold metallic light.

At the center of the hull, the silver-haired girl sat silently, her monocle reflecting the burning street around her.

Her expression did not change.

Her pressure was like a mountain.

Hulk blinked.

He stared at the large steel figure standing in front of him.

Then he looked down at his own fist.

Then he looked back at Breaker II.

A low, confused growl escaped his throat.

Hulk’s thoughts were simple.

He did not understand machines, tactics, or command systems.

But he understood one thing.

This big thing had blasted the monster away.

Then it had protected him.

So…

Friend.

Hulk quickly reached that conclusion.

He gave Breaker II a friendly roar and even raised his huge fist as if greeting it.

Breaker II did not respond.

It had no real self-awareness.

It only carried out Emily’s commands with perfect precision.

Its mechanical arms rotated slightly, and the rapid-fire cannons mounted near the ends locked onto Abomination, who was struggling to rise.

Bang!

Bang!

Small-caliber armor-piercing shells poured out like a storm.

The shots struck Abomination’s existing wounds with cruel accuracy.

Blood splattered from his body, and he roared in pain.

Now he was truly furious.

First, this strange girl had injured him with cannon fire.

Then she had slammed him away.

Now she was using smaller cannons to tear at his wounds.

Abomination’s yellow eyes filled with madness.

He abandoned Hulk completely and charged toward Breaker II, raising both thick arms above his head.

With all his strength, he brought them down on the seemingly slender rigging.

CLANG!

The sound of metal impact tore through the street.

Sparks exploded in the night.

The soldiers nearby held their breath.

Inside the helicopter, General Ross stared through the window without blinking.

Everyone expected the strange silver-haired girl to be crushed, or at least thrown backward.

But the next second, they were all stunned.

Abomination’s heavy blow left only a shallow mark on the armor.

Breaker II did not even shake.

To that battleship-grade rigging, Abomination’s punch was little more than a mosquito bite.

This was Breaker II, a heavy battleship-class unit in the Siren sequence.

Its rigging was built with hardened composite armor designed to withstand large-caliber naval fire.

Even an Abrams tank shell might not pierce its main armor belt.

Abomination’s fist?

Not enough.

For the first time since his transformation, Abomination froze.

He stared at his fist.

Then he stared at the unmoving silver-haired girl.

Fear appeared in his eyes.

In his short life as a monster, he had never met something he could not move with one punch.

And that one second of hesitation was enough.

Breaker II moved.

Four heavy mechanical arms extended at once, moving like giant steel pythons.

In an instant, they seized Abomination’s limbs.

The hydraulic system released terrifying force, stretching his arms and legs apart and pinning him in place.

Abomination struggled violently.

He roared.

He pulled.

He twisted.

But the mechanical arms did not move.

Those seemingly thin arms held strength greater than his own.

No matter how hard he fought, he could not break free.

At that moment, Hulk finally understood.

His green eyes lit up.

He roared with excitement and charged forward.

His clenched fist came down like a giant hammer.

BOOM!

The punch smashed into Abomination’s face.

BOOM!

Another punch landed on his chest.

BOOM!

A third buried itself into his stomach.

Hulk and Breaker II began working together.

One pinned Abomination in place, while the other delivered pure destruction.

Abomination could not dodge.

He could not counter.

He could only take Hulk’s punches one after another.

Blood sprayed from his mouth.

His earlier arrogance disappeared completely under Hulk’s rage.

High above, Emily burst into laughter.

“Not bad, Hulk.

You actually know how to follow up with a combo.”

She had only planned for Breaker II to restrict Abomination and create an opening.

She had not expected Hulk to understand the chance so quickly.

One handled control.

The other handled damage.

Somehow, the teamwork was perfect.

Even more absurd was that Breaker II, despite lacking true intelligence, could execute Emily’s orders with frightening precision.

After every punch Hulk landed, Breaker II adjusted the angle of its mechanical arms slightly, exposing another weak point on Abomination’s body.

Whenever Abomination tried to struggle, Breaker II tightened its grip and fired its secondary cannons directly into his wounds, interrupting him immediately.

One green.

One silver.

One wild and furious.

One cold and mechanical.

Two completely unrelated beings were now fighting together with shocking coordination.

Abomination, who had once held the advantage against Hulk, was now being beaten without any chance to fight back. Follow the newest chapters on g.com.

No one knew how many bones Hulk had broken.

His body became covered with wounds.

The madness in his eyes slowly changed into fear.

“Let me go!” Abomination roared.

“Let me go!”

He struggled with everything he had.

Finally, with a violent burst of strength, he broke free from one mechanical arm.

But before he could escape, Breaker II’s remaining arms pulled with even greater force.

The entire rigging lunged forward and knocked him off balance again.

Hulk seized the chance.

He jumped high, locked both fists together, and brought them down on Abomination’s head.

BOOM!

Abomination’s massive body was smashed to his knees.

His knees broke through the asphalt.

His head dropped forward, and the strength left his body.

Only faint twitches remained.

The battlefield fell silent once more.

The soldiers stood frozen with their guns raised, completely forgetting to fire.

Inside the helicopter, General Ross stared at the defeated Abomination, then at Breaker II standing in the street.

His lips trembled, but no words came out.

He had seen war.

He had seen weapons.

He had seen monsters.

But he had never seen anything like this.

Long-range cannon fire.

Close-combat impact.

Armor strong enough to ignore Abomination’s punch.

Mechanical strength powerful enough to restrain him.

And somehow, it could even cooperate with Hulk.

What in the world was this thing?

Hulk looked down at the collapsed Abomination and released a victorious roar.

Then he turned toward Breaker II and waved his fist again, giving a friendly low growl as if showing off his win.

Breaker II still did not respond.

It only retracted its mechanical arms slowly.

Then its hull rotated, and all eight main cannon barrels pointed at Abomination on the ground.

[Main cannon loading complete.

Ready to fire at any time.]

The cold notification echoed inside Emily’s consciousness.

Emily looked at the helpless Abomination below.

Then she looked at Hulk, who was stamping his feet in excitement.

A faint smile appeared on her lips.

She did not give the firing order.

Abomination had already been incapacitated.

The rest could be left to the military and S.H.I.E.L.D.

She had already helped Hulk and reduced civilian casualties.

There was no need to personally finish Abomination and create more trouble for herself.

“Breaker II, release lock.

Maintain alert status,” Emily ordered.

“Explorer II, confirm civilian evacuation.

Mark all military heavy-fire units.”

[Command confirmed.]

Breaker II’s main cannons slowly lowered.

The charging glow around the muzzles faded, but the unit remained in a combat stance.

Its cold hull faced the surrounding military forces.

The message was clear.

Move if you dare.

Hulk looked at the steel giant beside him.

Even though Breaker II ignored him, he seemed happy.

He walked around it twice, then lightly rubbed his massive fist against one of its mechanical arms, as if greeting a new friend.

High in the sky, Emily could not help smiling.

Fine.

It seemed she had not only helped Hulk.

She had accidentally picked up a Hulk friend.

What Emily did not know was that, at that very moment, inside the command room of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s Trident Headquarters in New York, Nick Fury stood in front of a large screen.

One hand gripped the strap of his eyepatch.

The other held a communicator.

His single eye remained fixed on the real-time footage from Harlem.

On the screen, the silver-haired battleship girl stood beside Hulk like something that had stepped out of a nightmare from the deep sea.

Fury’s dark face was solemn.

“Natasha,” he said into the communicator, “do you have any idea what that thing is?”

Natasha’s calm voice came through.

“No, Director.”

There was a slight pause.

“But I have a feeling…”

Her tone carried a rare trace of surprise.

“I’ve seen this style somewhere before.”
