"Nat, are you okay?" Barton asked Natasha just a few blocks from the shop. "Thank God." He took her by the shoulders. "Your neck…" It was covered in bites and hickeys. "You don't do those kinds of missions. Did he force you to—"
"No, Clint. Nobody forced me to do anything." The redhead shrugged. "Tell Fury I'll report in tomorrow. I'm tired." When she spoke, Clint took a step back.
They stood there in awkward silence. Barton said nothing about her breath and simply walked beside her. She didn't care. She really was exhausted.
Barton left after making sure she was all right. A few minutes later, she reached her apartment, the one assigned to her for this mission. She changed homes faster than she changed clothes. Every mission meant a new identity, a new life, a new name, a new home.
She was starting to grow tired of it.
She drew a hot bath. As she undressed, she noticed some of Sebastian's semen in her panties. She dipped a finger into it for a taste. She'd made it all the way home with his seed still dripping out of her.
She slowly lowered herself into the tub, enjoying the warm water. She felt strange. Her whole body felt strange. More alive, more radiant. As though she were young again. Her skin felt better, and old injuries didn't bother her as much anymore. 'What did you do to me, Sebastian?' she wondered, closing her eyes to enjoy the moment.
When she got out of the bath, she didn't even have time to dry her hair before falling asleep the moment she touched her bed.
"Harmless?" Fury asked, sounding as though he couldn't believe Natasha's words. "One of our agents is in the hospital because of him."
Apparently, during the interview, one of the men had tried to sneak inside to plant surveillance equipment. He hadn't made it past the door. A massive electric shock had taken care of him. He was now in the hospital, out of danger, but he probably wouldn't try breaking into someone else's home again for the rest of his life.
"That sounds like a personal security measure, Fury." Natasha shrugged. "I never felt threatened by him the entire time I was there."
'If you don't count how scared I was when he was inside me. It felt like he was splitting me in two.' Fury wasn't going to hear about that.
Fury stared at her with his one good eye, clearly annoyed. Natasha hadn't brought back as much information as he'd expected. Considering she'd ended up sleeping with the man, Fury had expected more.
"Did you fall in love with him?"
Natasha let out a small laugh. She wasn't some stupid little girl who would fall in love after a single night. She'd certainly grown fond of him. You couldn't spend an afternoon like that with someone and walk away as though nothing had happened. But falling in love was a long way from that, a road she would never take.
"You'll see me with both eyes before you see me in love," she replied. Her lifestyle wasn't compatible with love.
"Then you won't have a problem taking more missions like this?"
"What do you mean?" Natasha frowned.
"Using that method to extract information." Fury looked at her with his one good eye.
Natasha fell silent, wondering whether Fury had really asked that or was simply testing her. Knowing him, it was both. She had no doubt he'd use every resource at his disposal to complete a mission. Even if those resources were people.
"Are you going to reassign me, then?" she asked. She desperately wanted to tell him to go fuck himself, but she held back.
"Answer my question, Romanoff," Fury ordered.
"No. I won't take missions like that."
"You're emotionally involved now. That's never happened before," Fury complained. "Did you know him before this? Or is one afternoon all it takes to crack that cold shell of yours?" This chapter was copied from g.com without permission.
'You need a Sebastian of your own,' she thought. But saying it would only feed Fury's suspicions that she was emotionally involved.
"Want the truth, Fury?" The man nodded. "I wanted to fuck. And my target happened to be a handsome guy with a great body. He was kind, too. So I looked at him and thought: I want to fuck him. It had nothing to do with the mission. I just took advantage of the opportunity to try to get information while we were fucking. But I would've done it with or without the mission. And no, Fury, I don't need to be in love to fuck someone."
Fury stayed silent, taking a deep breath.
"Fine. I'm only worried you'll become attached to him. If he becomes dangerous, I may ask you to eliminate him." The words hit Natasha like a bucket of ice water.
"I know. If it comes to that, I won't hesitate." The words tasted like ashes in her mouth.
"Very well. You're dismissed, Agent." Natasha wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible. "Everything's in this report, right? You're not leaving anything out?"
"No." The lie came easily to Natasha.
She hadn't included her observations about Sebastian's hands. Partly because she hadn't been able to verify anything. What was she supposed to report? That a man had brought her to orgasm using only his hands? What kind of evidence would that be? Fury wouldn't understand. Only she understood what it took to make that happen.
She left the office. It was already eight in the morning, and she needed to get there early. It was her first day at work. She had to make a good impression.
When she reached the shop, she realized she wasn't the only one waiting. A man in a red spandex suit stood outside, his weapons clearly visible. She worried that he might be there to cause trouble.
She took out her phone and called Sebastian.
"There's still half an hour," he said sleepily. "You just stole fifteen minutes of my sleep," he complained.
"There's a guy outside. Red spandex, two pistols, and two katanas." She recognized him immediately.
Deadpool. A genetically altered mercenary. Extremely dangerous. If someone had paid him to kill Sebastian, they were in trouble. But if that was the case, why did he seem to be waiting for the shop to open?
"Oh, that's Wade. You've got the emergency key, right? Open up and help him. He usually just comes in for ammo." Before Natasha could protest, he hung up.
She took a deep breath. Her first day was shaping up to be complicated. She was almost completely unarmed, carrying only a concealed knife.
"Hey, Red. We open at nine. Get in line," the old mercenary told her.
'Red?' Natasha hadn't expected such a… friendly voice from an assassin.
"I work here." She pulled out the Hello Kitty keychain.
"Sebastian gave you that? What the fuck! I'm the one who gave him that keychain!" The man sounded outraged.
Natasha prepared herself in case he drew a gun, but he didn't. He just started muttering to himself.
"SEBASTIAN!" Deadpool shouted.
"SHUT THE FUCK UP, WADE!" Sebastian yelled from his bedroom.
'He hates being woken up. Noted.'
"You gave away the fucking keychain I gave you?" Deadpool sounded hurt.
"No…" Sebastian shouted, a little less loudly this time. "I only lent it to her."
"You're breaking my heart," Deadpool said.
Sebastian appeared in the shop barefoot, wearing loose pants and a baggy long-sleeved shirt. He really had just gotten out of bed. Natasha even spotted some sleep crust in the corners of his eyes.
"Sorry."
"Give me a discount and I'll forgive you." Natasha watched as Deadpool crossed his arms over his chest like a little girl pouting. She looked at Sebastian.
"Five percent," Sebastian said.
"Stingy," Deadpool replied. Natasha almost nodded in agreement.
"Fine, ten percent," Sebastian said with a yawn.
"Okay, I love you, Sebastian!" he said, throwing himself toward him. He looked ready to kiss him, but suddenly stopped. "You… you slut! Who did you fuck?"
Sebastian glanced at Natasha for a moment. Then Wilson looked at her, too.
"Wade…"
"I thought what we had was special." Wade began crying against Sebastian's chest.
"Fifteen percent," Sebastian said.
"Deal!" Deadpool immediately pulled away. "I want .50 Action Express ammo."
"How much?" Natasha asked as she looked for where it was kept.
"A hundred boxes."
"You son of a bitch." Sebastian put a hand to his forehead.
Deadpool began tracing little hearts in the air with his fingers.
To her surprise, Natasha found herself smiling. Not her fake smile, or her shy one, or her seductive one. A genuine smile, the kind she rarely wore.
