*You think you can just come and go as you please?

Did you bother asking me first?* Surrounded by several Xenomorphs, Duval stood expressionless.

Originally, he could have quietly parasitized Abomination to accumulate his strength, without needing to display his power publicly so soon.Full novel: Marvel/DC: The Xenomorph God — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Yet Ikaris had shown up with ill intent.

“Since you’re already here, why not stay?” If possible, Duval would gladly make Ikaris part of his hive.

Having a budget Superman Xenomorph would give a massive boost to his overall combat capability.

Though it was exceedingly difficult—he didn’t yet possess the power to defeat Ikaris, nor was it easy to find an opportunity for impregnation.

Ikaris wasn’t an easy target like Abomination.

*Rrip!* Ikaris was finally injured.

His opponent possessed not just hands and feet, but also a formidable tail, and the most unexpectedly lethal weapon of all…

its inner mouth!

The Abomination Xenomorph thrust out its inner mouth, tearing a chunk of flesh right off Ikaris’s face.

Ikaris’s eyes widened.

Touching his bloodied face in disbelief, his eyes instantly flushed crimson.

It was not just supreme rage surging within him, but an unprecedented wave of anxiety.

Ultimately, he wasn’t the Superman from the distinguished competition; he could get hurt, he could run, and he weighed the cost of a fight to see if risking exposure like this was worth it.

Most importantly, Ikaris had no idea where the Abomination Xenomorph’s limit lay.

The creature grew stronger as it fought, which was utterly infuriating.

Roaring repeatedly, Ikaris slammed a fist into the Abomination Xenomorph’s face, then burst forward, pummeling its head with a barrage of relentless strikes.

The movement speed of the two figures easily shattered the sound barrier.

The shockwaves generated around them rivaled bomb detonations, spreading out in visible ripples.

Tanks fired round after round, while swarms of attack helicopters unleashed streams of missiles.

With destruction reaching this level, the damage was far too severe.

If the military didn’t take action, they wouldn’t be able to save face.

General Ross stood in a helicopter, staring blankly at the chaotic scene before him.

If it were just Abomination versus Hulk, there might still be room to salvage his career.

But now?

Forget it—he was guaranteed a court-martial.

“Who on earth is that flying guy?!

And who is he fighting?!” General Ross finally broke down.

“Target both of them!

Fire!” Hit by several artillery shells, Ikaris turned and swept a blast of heat vision across the sky, obliterating all the helicopters, including Ross’s command chopper.

Just as General Ross was about to die on the spot, Iron Man returned, using his armor’s back to shield against the blast just in time.

Grabbing Ross with one hand, he accelerated toward the roof of a high-rise.

“I don’t like you, but if you died here, it’d be a joke,” Tony said.

“Tony Stark!

You should have let those two monsters kill me!” “Yeah, you’re right.

That way, the government would be forced to deal with those two, and your Super Soldier Program could keep chugging along,” Tony replied coldly before blasting back up into the sky toward the battle.

Honestly, he knew jumping in like this could end horribly—the Mark III couldn’t stand up to those two monsters’ fists—but he had no choice.

At that moment, perhaps by chance, the Abomination Xenomorph took a beating, its skull cracking open and spraying highly corrosive acid blood.

Ikaris’s eyes lit up—by normal logic, he was about to kill the beast.

But the next second, the hyper-corrosive fluid splashed across his face, wringing a howl of anguish from him that hardly sounded human.

Ikaris was horrified as he physically felt his face *melting*!

“AAAAARGH!!!” Ikaris shrieked in agony, clutching at his face—even though the action coated his hands in the blood as well, causing them to dissolve bit by bit.

Was this a Deviant?!

No, this creature was countless times more terrifying than any Deviant!

When wounded, it became even more lethal, dealing horrifyingly lethal damage back to him!

The Abomination Xenomorph went completely feral.

Ignoring its rapidly healing injuries, it lunged forward, wrapping its massive arms tightly around Ikaris to slam him down.

Smashed through more than a dozen skyscrapers by the monstrous impact, Ikaris was shaken to his core.

Although he still believed he would ultimately win if he kept fighting, facing an enemy that sprayed terrifying acid blood the closer it got to death meant that continuing this battle was a losing proposition!

Weighing the pros and cons, Ikaris used the momentum to escape!

Fleeing desperately!

Fighting to the death against a creature that wasn’t even a Deviant was meaningless.

Even if that human possessed extraordinary knowledge and seemed to know confidential secrets, he couldn’t care less about such details right now.

In the end, Ikaris violently blasted through the penthouse of a skyscraper from below, accidentally slamming directly into the man blocking his trajectory—General Ross—and instantly vaporizing him into a strange red mist that scattered into the air.

Ikaris didn’t even pause.

Drenched in gore, leaving a trail of blood and shredded tissue falling behind him, he rocketed straight into the night sky and vanished from sight.

As for Ross?

Sorry, no matter how powerful he was, Ikaris didn’t care about a mere mortal.

He only wanted to reach safety and cleanse the acid that had already burned down to his bones!

Only Tony Stark, who had been flying toward the battle just seconds earlier, hovered in silent stupor before dejectedly flying back down, staring at the ruined rooftop covered in bloody splatter.

“If I say Ross’s death didn’t have a penny to do with me, that I didn’t put him here on purpose, and that it was purely an accident…

Jarvis, do you think a judge would believe me?” “Hard to say, Sir.

According to calculations regarding your situation, they likely won’t believe you, though they lack concrete evidence.” “Great, Jarvis.

Let’s align our stories first so we don’t slip up.

If they ask whether it was intentional or an accident—” For the first time, Tony felt that playing the superhero wasn’t an easy gig.

Dealing with a death was troublesome enough, especially when the deceased was someone of high status—and died specifically because Tony had left him there…

It was rough.

Don’t get him wrong—Tony wasn’t feeling sorry for Ross.

The dirty deeds Ross pulled behind closed doors couldn’t stand the light of day.

After tonight’s disaster, even if Ross had survived, the best he could hope for was life in prison.

Tony felt sorry for *himself*—having to deal with this mess right at the start of his superhero debut.

Tonight had truly taught him a harsh lesson.

Never mind Abomination and Hulk; the two powerful monsters that appeared afterward were even more reckless, unleashing terrifying destruction that shattered the public’s perception of reality.

For the first time, people genuinely realized that these superhumans were right beside them, and if they fought without restraint, they could effortlessly spark a catastrophe.

Who could stop people like that?

The military’s jets and tanks?

Right now, that seemed impossible.

Heavy weaponry couldn’t be deployed anytime, anywhere—and even if used, it might not even work.

Tony turned his attention back to the Abomination Xenomorph, following it quickly before touching down fifty meters in front of Duval.

The frantically savage Abomination Xenomorph was now slowly deflating its bulged muscles, standing quietly beside Duval without a trace of its earlier terrifying madness.

“Lovely.

It’s practically a well-behaved little girl…

though I’m guessing it doesn’t have a gender.” Tony flew up to Duval, speaking while rapidly scanning all the data Jarvis was uploading regarding Duval.

“Tony Stark, it’s a pleasure to meet you under such circumstances,” Duval said, looking perfectly friendly.

“You’re celebrating too early.

More trouble is going to find you very soon,” Tony replied.

“Buddy, do you have any idea how much of a splash these creatures of yours have made around the globe?”
