As an elite soldier, Blonsky was a man of firm convictions.
He believed real men had to be massive and fierce!
Just like Hulk: triggered by stress, he grew huge; hit him, and he grew even bigger.
Blonsky craved the Hulk’s power.
And the best way to revere something was to study it—and then become it.
That was exactly what he did.
“Just to be clear, this serum is incomplete.
If something goes wrong—” a thin scientist warned timidly.
“Enough!
I know what I’m doing.
Keep wasting time and I’ll kill you!” Blonsky snapped impatiently, “Inject me!
I’m going to be stronger than Hulk!” Hearing this, Mr.
Blue shook his head secretly.
Becoming stronger than Hulk by injecting serum extracted from Hulk’s blood?
Did that sound like sane words?
It was fundamentally impossible.
Even hybrid crossbreeding experiments required multiple generations of selective breeding.
But Blonsky didn’t care.
The soldier was insane, and Mr.
Blue was more than happy to inject the serum into his body.
As Dr.
Banner’s online friend, he had run various tests for Banner and possessed samples of Hulk’s blood.
Now, Blonsky was the perfect test subject to verify his results.
*Hulk is much stronger than I anticipated.
My level of intellect isn’t enough to perfectly unlock the power in his blood.
This is troubling…* Mr.
Blue had his own worries.
He intended to escape and hide out for a while as soon as the injection was finished.
“If you ever have a clear head again, you can come find me.
Maybe we’ll have another chance to collaborate.” Mr.
Blue only said it out of courtesy.
In truth, he knew Blonsky wouldn’t have a next time.
Blonsky couldn’t handle the serum’s power; at best, he would undergo a horrific mutation, get captured, and be experimented on in a government prison until he died.
*Roar!* Sure enough, Blonsky began to transform.
His body swelled, smashing right through the ceiling.
His skin turned rough like a lizard’s, and sharp bone spikes sprouted along his spine.
“Power!
This is real power!” Blonsky was ecstatically overwhelmed.
Feeling the endless, violent force surging within him, his face contorted into a hideous grin.
Along with that force came a rage inextricably tied to it, which merged with Blonsky’s own dark thoughts to form a brand-new emotion: hatred.
Blonsky named his superpowered self “Abomination.” It was a name chosen to reclaim the dignity he had lost to Hulk, and to prove he was the strongest by slaughtering him.
“Abomination, is it?
I don’t think you’ll get the chance to take revenge on Hulk.
Because I’m here.” Several Xenomorphs crashed through the windows, moving with breathtaking agility as they darted across the walls and floor, surrounding Abomination.
Mr.
Blue shuddered, pulling his gaze away from Abomination to stare in shock at these unknown creatures.
As a biologist, one look told him these unseen organisms weren’t natural creatures—at least not native to Earth.
No natural terrestrial life possessed an exoskeleton-like structure, let alone looked so…
sci-fi.
With just one glance, Mr.
Blue was deeply fascinated, his urge to flee slowing down slightly.
When a Runner Xenomorph crouched nearby, “gazing” at him with its eyeless head, he couldn’t move at all.
He could only press himself against the wall and creep away, trying to stay as far from the raging Abomination as possible.
“Did Ross send you?
Hilarious!
He used to be my general, binding me with his pathetic rules.
Now it’s my turn to command him!
I’m stronger than he is!” Abomination’s mind was consumed by wild, violent thoughts.
“You’re stronger than him?
Good.
If I’m stronger than you, it’s only natural that I take everything you have.” Duval spoke calmly, his eyes sweeping over the hulking Abomination like sharp scalpels.
To be frank, Abomination was ugly—far uglier than Hulk—but Duval wasn’t picky.
“What’s with that look?” “An appreciative look.
In my eyes, when you transform into another state, you become exquisite.” Duval spared no praise or affection.
Abomination froze, thinking this tiny human must be completely insane, and stomped down hard with a massive foot.
Exquisite?
Ugly?
He had thought his own mind was going mad and losing control, but it turned out this stranger was far crazier.
A cruel grin stretched across his maw, full of jagged teeth.
Abomination looked forward to the sensation of crushing the intruder into red paste.
*BOOM!* He missed the person, smashing straight through the floor and stomping out a deep crater.
“You can’t even hit hard.
How do you have the nerve to say you’ll take on Hulk?” Duval retreated at a speed far exceeding normal humans, giving a subtle command.
Almost instantly, even more Xenomorphs emerged from all around, surrounding Abomination and launching a coordinated assault.
The Xenomorphs, generally under three meters tall, appeared remarkably small compared to the four-meter-tall, muscle-bound monstrosity that was Abomination.
But they had numbers on their side!
Eleven Xenomorphs attacked in waves.
The strongest, a Blood Xenomorph, charged at the front, whipping its lethal tail straight at Abomination’s eyes.
“A joke!
You think these things can take me down?” It was Abomination’s first time encountering Xenomorphs, but he felt no fear whatsoever.
Laughing wildly, he reached out and grabbed a slightly slower Xenomorph.
With a sadistic smirk, he squeezed hard with both hands.
*Snap!* Instead of a burst of red, however, what sprayed out was green.
Yes, green like Hulk—except this green blood was an intensely terrifying acid.
The moment it touched Abomination’s hands, he let out an earth-shattering shriek!
Agony!
Agony beyond measure!
Faced with blood that could dissolve super-alloys in an instant, even skin tough enough to tank a rocket launcher couldn’t hold up!
*Sizzle!* Skin burned through, flesh withered away, exposing white bone—and even the bones were dissolving and snapping.
Fortunately for Abomination, his hyper-regeneration kicked in.
With a furious roar, his wounds began healing at a visible rate.
Taking advantage of this precious window, more Xenomorphs swarmed him.
Several Runner Xenomorphs scrambled up the walls, finding angles to spit concentrated acid, leaving massive chemical burns all over Abomination’s body.
Abomination bellowed repeatedly.
Given his sheer mass, any Xenomorph he managed to grab would be lucky to leave with missing limbs.
Only the Blood Xenomorph fared better, its higher physical density allowing it to endure direct blows.
“What the hell are these things?!” Even after slaughtering three Xenomorphs, Abomination found himself brutally harassed by their relentless siege.
The Xenomorphs’ teamwork was immaculate.
Whenever he was about to grab one, the others would strike with precise timing, forcing him to switch targets—or take severe damage if he refused to disengage.
Abomination managed to grab another Xenomorph, but paid a heavy price.
A Blood Xenomorph lunged forward, opening its maw and shooting out its inner mouth.
The tongue-like inner jaw extended faster than a bullet, its razor-sharp teeth biting into Abomination’s eye before yanking backward, spraying blood everywhere.
Abomination howled in agony.
The successful Blood Xenomorph tore into his flesh, devouring his blood to rapidly replenish its own stamina and heal its injuries.
“Now’s the time.
Send in the facehuggers.” Duval hovered at the outer edge in a safe zone, having waited for this exact opening—and now, it had finally arrived.
