"Olivia! Leon and Isabelle! Just you wait! When the apocalypse starts, none of you will escape."
Turning to look at his grandpa and Alfred, the next step was simple.
With Elena done, his mana reserves had now doubled, no they were almost five times larger.
Thanks to this, he easily created circles for Alfred and Christian putting them both into the path of the mage.
’However it seems my guess is right, after creating their circles, Grandpa’s attributes jumped to around seven while Alfred’s are about ten.’
"It seems factors like age, body strength, physique, spirit, and other things come into play when deciding the initial attribute boost."
’It’s only unfortunate that neither of them has awakened so I can’t be sure of the exact numbers and Elena is currently unconscious, unable to consume the awakening crystal.’
Yes, Ethan had discovered that although mages created by him were extraordinary, they all lacked the awakened system that other awakeners had.
Although he didn’t know the reason why, this was also a serious problem.
’Current awakeners have way too many benefits thanks to the system, such as knowing their exact stats and abilities.’
’A storage space, being able to get rewards from the system, and a whole bunch of other things.’
’To make my mages not fall behind awakeners, then not only do they need to be strong, but I need to find a way to incorporate them into the current system or at least create my own system and bind all mages.’
Thinking that perhaps in the future he would create his own system, Ethan couldn’t help but laugh at himself.
Looking at his Grandpa and Alfred who were laughing from ear to ear at their newfound strength and Elena who was still unconscious on the floor.
Ethan knew he was still very far from that, however, he had at least one more goal to add to his list.
’Plus after receiving feedback from Grandpa and Alfred, my average attributes are now at 120 and although much smaller than before, I can feel my first circle is nearing its limits.’
’Compared to fighting Marcus and those things which almost drained me dry, I feel like I can fight for ten days and ten nights,’ Ethan muttered inwardly with a smile on his face.
Taking one last glance around and making sure he was done with everything, Ethan stood up from the bed.
"Remember Grandpa, no time to waste, the apocalypse starts on the first of the new year so we have to make haste."
"I’m off to change and pick up something so I’ll see you later."
"Oh and tell Elena I can’t wait to see what ability she awakens, and that if it’s a strong one I’ll let her fight me again!"
Not giving either of them a chance to reply, Ethan with his speed of over a hundred stepped out of the room at speeds that made their eyes hard to follow.
"That kid..." muttered Christian as he saw Ethan leave.
For his grandson to be so strong, he could only consider it a blessing considering the times that were to come.

[Dragon Country, Emerald City]
[Higgsfield University]
At a university, not too far from the Smith Mansion, while Ethan was preparing to leave his home a terrible scene was being staged here.
In front of the university entrance, five female students were currently kicking and cursing another female student with anger on their faces.
"Damn you bitch! Just because you think you’re a bit pretty what gives you the right to not bring our money?" yelled one of them.
"Yeah, do you know who my father is? He’s one of the board of directors here! How dare you mess with us!"
"Look even the security dare not do anything to us unless he wants to get fired."
Laughed another as she pointed to the security guard not too far from them who could only lower his head as he clenched his fists.
"Haha don’t be so mean you guys, she probably doesn’t know what a father is, an orphan like her."
"It’s a miracle she even managed to get into a school like this!"
"Haha."
"Hahaha."
"Haha."
As these words were said the group of girls instantly burst into a fit of laughter.
While the girl they were kicking on remained motionless under their feet.
’Sigh... another day like this, is there any point in living?’
’I think I’ve had so many injuries thanks to them that I’ve already become numb to pain so that’s good I guess.’
’I wonder how the kids in the orphanage are doing, I’m sure they’ll feel bad if they know their big sis Victoria is suffering so much.’
’Haha.’
Lying motionless on the ground with hollow eyes, Victoria Sinclair’s thoughts ran through her mind as she pondered if her life had any meaning.
Born with a rare condition that gave her ice-blue eyes and ice-blue hair, even as a baby her cuteness would captivate those in the orphanage.
As an adult, she had been asked out on numerous occasions.
However despite growing up in an orphanage and struggling to get a better education to help her life and the orphanage get better.
She had only been tormented after entering uni by this group of girls who were jealous of her beauty.
Her hair had been cut by them, and her head had been ducked in the toilet multiple times.
She had been beaten, bruised, and cut.
Yet because of their family members, nothing had been done to them.
The whole school knew she was suffering and not one person stretched out a hand.
Sometimes she had even wondered if it wouldn’t be better for everyone if she ended her life.
Lost in thought, she used her arms to protect her face to avoid damaging her eyes and her knees to protect her stomach and organs.
Hopefully the girls would get tired, in a few minutes like always, and stop.
However, just as Victoria was gritting her teeth getting ready for another kick, an angry voice suddenly came from in front of her.
"You five stop this nonsense at once, how dare you do this to your classmate!"
In shock, she couldn’t believe what she was hearing.
Was someone actually standing up for her?
