But she knew clearly in her heart that this was not some fan filter.
Rather, after absorbing that faith power and merit value just now, her body had undergone real and tangible changes.
The golden light was the faith power and merit value.
Through that fortune-telling session she did for Yan Hao, she had gained the trust and worshipful admiration of others. These were the main sources that produced faith power.
That bit of merit value, on the other hand, came from Yan Hao.
The more people who admired and revered her, the more faith power there would be.
Likewise, the more people she could help, the more her merit value would increase.
Because she had only just started livestreaming, there were not many people in her livestream room, so although the faith power and merit value she had obtained now were not much, they could even be said to be very, very little.
But merely this little bit had already caused quite a significant change in her spirit and appearance.
Her livestream room still needed more people so that she could obtain more faith power and merit value…
“There is still one more fortune-telling session today.” Considering that there were currently too many people asking for a fortune reading, Jiang Ruanning thought for a moment, then looked straight at the screen and said, “Those who need a fortune reading can send the comment ‘This is way too accurate’ in the livestream room. After one minute, I will take a screenshot. The person at the very top of the screenshot can connect with me.”
As soon as Jiang Ruanning finished stating the conditions for connecting, the livestream room screen was immediately dominated by this comment:
【If There Were No Ifs: This is way too accurate】
【Flying Pig: This is way too accurate】
【Won’t Change My Name Until I Lose Twenty Jin: This is way too accurate】
【……】
At this moment, the livestream room showed that the number of people online had already reached one thousand, and it was still continuing to rise.
【I was recommended here by a friend, who said the streamer is really amazing at fortune-telling! She even predicted a car accident just now and saved a life. Is that really true?】
【It’s true. As someone who just witnessed the whole thing with my own eyes in the livestream room, I was also skeptical at first. I thought the streamer was too young and too beautiful, and did not look like someone who could tell fortunes. But the streamer really is amazing. Just by looking at his face, she predicted that the Big Brother who connected with her would encounter a car accident. If she had not stopped him in time, that Big Brother would absolutely either be dead or disabled by now.】
【My grandpa also knows a bit of Xuanmen arts. I have the livestream on right now, and he is watching it with me. When does this streamer’s next fortune-telling session start? My grandpa says he can help determine whether the streamer really has genuine ability or is just a swindler.】
One minute soon passed.
Jiang Ruanning pressed the screenshot button and read out a name in the livestream room, “Is 【Yang Xiaoni】 here? If you are, send me a connection request. I took the screenshot here, and you are the person at the very top.”
【Yang Xiaoni: I’m here. I’ll send the request right away.】
A connection request soon appeared on the livestream screen, showing that it was from 【Yang Xiaoni】.
Jiang Ruanning accepted it.
A delicate and haggard face appeared on the screen. The girl looked to be around twenty-three or twenty-four years old, and was reaching up to wipe away the tears at the corners of her eyes.
Her eyes were terribly swollen and red, and her pale face was covered in tear marks.
As soon as the video connected, she raised her head. Large drops of tears slid down from the corners of her eyes as she cried and pleaded, “Master, please, I beg you to help me.”
Yang Xiaoni kept crying.
Even through the screen, one could feel the grief and despair showing on her face.
【This young lady has cried until her eyes are swollen. She must have been crying for a long time, right? Did she run into some urgent matter?】
【Miss, don’t cry ah. Quickly tell the streamer what you want to have calculated. The streamer is so amazing, she will definitely be able to help you!】
【That’s right, that’s right. You have to believe in the streamer ah!】
Seeing Yang Xiaoni crying so sadly, the netizens in the livestream room were extremely curious and really wanted to know what exactly had happened to her.
