“Loyalty that isn’t absolute, is absolute treason!” “I am the Emperor’s servant in life, and I shall be His martyr in death!” “Unhand me!

I must do my duty for the Emperor!

I have to hold Hive Phodia!” Waking up to find himself strapped to a tank seat, General Dhrost thrashed wildly against his restraints.Full novel: Minecraft: The Conqueror of Multiverse — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“We can still turn this around!

Let me go!

Unhand me!” His exhausted staff officers desperately pinned the frantic General down.

“General, snap out of it!

We lost.

The bugs have broken through the final defense lines.

Every position has fallen, but you have to survive!” “The Blood Angels will come!

We just have to hold out until they arrive, then we can evacuate the planet!” Under orders from the High Lords of Terra, General Dhrost had taken command of the Cryptus System’s military forces to hold the line against Hive Fleet Leviathan.

But the Tyranid swarm was simply too overwhelming.

Even after mobilizing the entire system and receiving reinforcements from neighboring war zones, Dhrost still lost the campaign.

The Imperial Navy was wiped out, planets fell one by one, and even the capital, Hive Phodia, was overrun.

As the remnants of their forces retreated to the spaceport, Imperial Command was ambushed by the Tyranids, causing the entire chain of command to collapse.

Fully intending to go down with the ship, Dhrost was instead knocked unconscious by his own staff, stuffed into a tank, and smuggled out of the tide.

Suddenly, the rumbling of the tank ground to a halt.

A young officer’s voice crackled over the vox.

“General, we’ve temporarily lost the swarm on our tail.

We are currently in the ruins of Hive Phodia’s outer sectors.” “We’ve managed to establish contact with Helios Spaceport.

They’re scrambling air support for an extraction.” Dhrost sat in silence for a long moment before finally speaking.

“Untie me.” “We will, General, but you have to promise us you won’t pull any suicidal stunts.

The surviving men are still counting on you to lead them out of this hellhole.” Dhrost stayed quiet for a long while before giving a stiff nod.

“I understand.

I will fulfill my duty.” Confident that the General wouldn’t try to get himself killed, an officer unbuckled his restraints.

Free at last, Dhrost stood up, rolled his stiff shoulders, and ordered the hatch open before climbing out.

Only a few dozen of us made it out when Command fell.

The rest are probably biomass by now.

Dhrost let out a heavy sigh, forcing himself to keep it together.

He scanned the surrounding terrain before pointing toward a massive, sprawling cathedral.

“We’ll use that church to set up a defensive perimeter and hold out for extraction.” The guardsmen had barely begun to move out when a deep tremor shook the earth.

What followed was a sight forever seared into their minds.

The grand cathedral was slowly rising into the air, revealing a staggeringly complex mass of mechanical infrastructure beneath it.

Gigantic gears locked together, while python-like pipes hung loose, screaming as they vented plumes of white steam.

Arcs of electricity danced across crystal matrices, acting as a containment field for spheres of light as blinding as the sun.

Colossal pistons pumped back and forth with a deafening rhythm.

Mountainous mechanical legs slowly lifted and slammed down, quaking the very earth.

High-speed, interlocking steel buzzsaws tore into the ground and the surrounding grand architecture, churning everything into rubble and swallowing it whole.

General Dhrost was a hardened veteran who had seen the far corners of the galaxy, yet he was left absolutely, utterly speechless.

The…

the church just stood up?!

— “Finally got this thing moving.” Inside a control room crammed full of machinery, Vane let out a long sigh of relief and glanced over at the blocky figure standing next to him.

“Steve, go tweak the B63 module.

Bump up the power output and make sure she’s running smoothly.” As for who Vane was, that’s a long story.

Thirteen years ago, after leaving a class reunion, he got into a car crash that dumped him straight into the Minecraft universe.

Along the way, he inexplicably awakened a JoJo-style Stand—a psychic manifestation that only he could see.

His Stand just so happened to be the legendary blockman himself, Steve.

As a manifestation of Vane’s sheer willpower, Steve could mine, build, farm, and flawlessly execute any order given to him.

Simply put, Steve was an extension of Vane, doubling as his ultimate cheat code.

And so, Vane kicked off his blocky adventure.

After a massive grind, he breached the End, slaughtered the Ender Dragon, and basically beat vanilla Minecraft.

However, beating the vanilla game wasn’t the end of his journey—it was just the prologue.

More accurately, it meant he had finally cleared the tutorial and stepped out of the starting zone.

With the Ender Dragon dead, the Mystcraft-style Portal Mod booted up.

By conquering a selected world, he could unlock its item crafting recipes and snag admin privileges.

To date, Vane had cleared a staggering lineup of modpacks: Tinkers’ Construct, Create, Mekanism, GregTech, IndustrialCraft, Thaumcraft, Botania, Equivalent Exchange, and many more.

He’d hoarded an ocean of tech and magic crafting recipes.

Armed with all this science and sorcery, Vane overhauled his vanilla world, terraforming it into a breathtaking city of miracles that blended magic and machinery.

He even got his hands on Command Blocks, allowing him to create or wipe out anything with a single thought.

He honestly thought he’d spend the rest of his days chilling in his Minecraft utopia, living the ultimate retirement dream.

But fate threw him a curveball, awakening an Infinite Pocket Dimension that let him project avatars across the multiverse simultaneously.

Every time he conquered a universe, he’d earn its crafting recipes, granting him the power to perfectly recreate every item and living creature within it.

Eager to collect new recipes and honestly just wanting to meet people from other realities, Vane scattered his projections across several universes.

For his main body, he decided to personally drop into the absolute hardest one—the universe every self-respecting transmigrator actively avoids: Warhammer 40k.

Having spent thirteen years stranded in a world of blocks, Vane had practically forgotten what normal reality looked like.

So, even if the grimdark universe was a cosmic dumpster fire, he didn’t care.

He was just thrilled to see actual, non-pixelated human beings again.

But the honeymoon phase didn’t last long.

He quickly realized he’d dropped right into the Cryptus System—right on the eve of a full-scale invasion by Hive Fleet Leviathan.

To make matters worse, his vaults stuffed with legendary loot, god-tier items, and a string of EMC digits long enough to hang yourself with didn’t cross over with him.

On the bright side, his mod-based crafting recipes and abilities were still active.

All he had to do was put his head down, grind like a madman, and he’d get all his god-tier gear back.

And so, alongside his Stand, Steve, he went into a sleepless, fifteen-day grinding frenzy.

They strip-mined the earth, abused the Equivalent Exchange mod to convert resources, and quietly teched up.

He successfully built automated crop farms, tree farms, Iron Golem spawners, cobblestone generators, and iron farms.

Using tech mods, he hooked everything up to a massive kinetic power network and mechanical treads, snapping all his factory modules together to create a colossal, resource-devouring mobile fortress.

Right now, Vane was running diagnostics on the fortress’s systems while sending Steve out for maintenance to crank up the power output.

Suddenly, his external surveillance monitors picked up Dhrost’s squad on the ground.

They were staring in absolute shock as his massive moving fortress systematically chewed up the cityscape.

Right on cue, a warning flashed on another screen.

His radar had pinged a Tyranid swarm at the edge of his vision, clearly hunting the humans below.

Before Vane could figure out what to do, a glowing blue prompt popped up right in front of his eyes.
