Maya looked at Ben with wide eyes.
"What kind of ability did you awaken?"
Amanda’s expression became even more serious.
She turned toward Raymond.
"Old Raymond, what exactly is happening?"
Raymond didn’t answer immediately.
As one of the strongest human cultivators in the Solar Association, he had encountered countless powerful abilities throughout his life.
He also spent most of his time near Earth, protecting it from external threats and preventing powerful beings from harming humanity.
Yet he had never seen an awakening quite like this.
The fact that a newly awakened human could make someone of Raymond’s level instinctively feel threatened was extremely unusual.
He slowly tightened his grip around the appraisal orb.
For the first time, Raymond wasn’t sure what kind of ability he was looking at.
Raymond finally made a decision.
He carefully took the appraisal orb and placed it on the table.
"Touch the orb with your hand. It will analyze your innate ability and determine its rank."
Ben nodded.
"Alright."
He reached out and touched the crystal.
The appraisal orb immediately lit up.
For a moment, everyone waited for the result.
Then the crystal suddenly turned completely white.
Cracks appeared across its surface.
A second later, the entire orb crumbled into fine white ash.
The room fell silent.
Ben stared at the pile of ash on the table.
"Uh..."
He scratched his head awkwardly.
"Was I supposed to deactivate my ability before touching it?"
No one answered.
Ben looked around.
Maya, Raymond, Amanda, and even Morbius were staring at the destroyed orb.
Morbius’s eyes were wide.
Inside, he was completely stunned.
What the hell is this human?
I thought his ability might be Universal Grade at most.
But even an appraisal orb capable of measuring abilities up to the Universal Grade couldn’t withstand his power.
What kind of ability is this?
For the first time, Morbius no longer wondered whether Ben might eventually become stronger than him.
He was certain of it.
Raymond took a deep breath.
"We need to keep this secret."
Everyone became serious.
"If word gets out that a newly awakened human possesses an ability this dangerous, Ben will become a target."
"Powerful races, organizations, and even hostile humans may try to capture him."
Maya nodded.
Amanda also agreed.
Raymond looked directly at Ben.
"From now on, only use your ability when absolutely necessary."
"Unless you’re in a life-or-death situation, don’t use it where other people can see."
"And if someone discovers your ability, don’t reveal anything about it."
Ben nodded.
"Understood."
Raymond’s expression became stern.
"Your ability is too unusual. We can’t allow anyone to discover what you possess."
Ben thought about it for a moment.
"Then how am I supposed to fight?"
Amanda answered before Raymond could.
"Use the abilities you can obtain through your soul contract with Morbius."
Ben blinked.
"What abilities?"
"I can use abilities through a Soul Contract?"
Raymond looked at him in confusion.
"Didn’t Morbius tell you about this?" he asked.
Ben shook his head.
Raymond glanced at Morbius, who was already sitting nearby with his eyes closed, pretending not to hear the conversation.
"My apologies. I thought he had already explained it to you," Raymond said.
"Through a Soul Contract, certain abilities can be shared between the contracted parties."
"In your case, you can use some of Morbius’s abilities. The most important one would be his innate ability, Death Flames."
"Death Flames are extremely powerful flames capable of devouring and destroying almost anything they come into contact with."
Ben nodded before asking another question.
"Does that mean Morbius can also use my ability?"
Raymond shook his head.
"He could have if you had formed an equal Soul Contract. However, your contract is a master-servant contract."
"Because you are the master, you can use his abilities, but he cannot use yours."
"I see."
Ben thought about it for a moment.
"How do I use his ability?"
"Simply close your eyes and focus on your Soul Contract," Raymond explained.
"You should be able to sense the abilities available to you and activate them through the contract."
Ben nodded.
"Understood."
Raymond then stood up.
"Don’t worry about mastering everything immediately. We can teach you more during the next few months."
"You have enough time to improve your celestial energy control, learn combat techniques, and become familiar with your abilities."
"If you continue progressing at your current rate, you should be more than ready to take the entrance assessment for Jupiter Celestial Academy."
Ben’s eyes lit up slightly.
"Jupiter Celestial Academy?"
Raymond nodded.
"We’ll leave in three months."
"So use this time to prepare yourself properly. Once you arrive there, you’ll have to compete with talented young cultivators from across the Solar Association."
Raymond then looked toward Maya.
"Since Maya was the one who discovered Ben, she will be granted special merit for bringing such a promising talent to our organization."
"However, everything will be handled privately. We need to keep both of you safe."
Maya nodded.
"That’s fine. As long as Ben is safe, I don’t mind."
Raymond smiled and nodded.
"Good."
He then took a ring from his pocket and handed it to Ben.
"Here. Take this."
Ben looked at the ring.
"What is it?"
"It’s a storage ring."
"It has a storage space of more than one thousand cubic meters. That should be more than enough to store your belongings."
"You can even put your car inside if you want."
Ben’s eyes widened slightly as he examined the simple-looking ring.
"That’s quite useful."
Raymond nodded.
"Keep it safe. You’ll be carrying a lot more things once you start studying at Jupiter Celestial Academy."
Raymond then looked at Ben seriously.
"Now, go and pack your belongings."
Ben raised an eyebrow.
"Pack? Why?"
"We’re leaving Earth," Raymond explained. "From now on, you’ll be staying on the Moon until the entrance assessment for Jupiter Celestial Academy."
Ben looked surprised.
"The Moon?"
Raymond nodded.
"Yes. There are several cultivation facilities there that are much better suited for training than anything we have on Earth."
"The concentration of celestial energy on the Moon is also much higher. You’ll be able to absorb and refine it more efficiently."
Ben nodded as he listened.
