Raymond continued explaining the arrangements.
"You’ll spend the next three months training there."
"During that time, you’ll learn proper celestial energy manipulation and several basic celestial arts."
"You’ll also learn how to use your innate ability more efficiently without revealing its true nature."
Ben nodded.
"That sounds useful."
"It is," Raymond said. "The Moon has several training facilities specifically designed for newly awakened cultivators. You’ll have access to training rooms, combat arenas, cultivation chambers, and instructors."
"You’ll also be able to practice with celestial energy without worrying about damaging the surrounding environment."
Ben thought about it for a moment.
"What about actual combat?"
Raymond nodded.
"That’s another reason we’re sending you there."
"You’ve gained a lot of strength, but your actual combat experience is still limited."
"You’ll need to learn how to fight properly before the academy entrance trial."
"The trial will test more than your cultivation level. You’ll have to fight other candidates, complete different tasks, and deal with various situations."
Ben nodded.
"Then I should practice fighting as much as possible."
"Exactly."
Raymond smiled.
"Your innate ability is powerful but it won’t matter if you can’t land ahit on your enemy."
"You should learn how to fight properly with your body, your sword, your celestial energy, your spells, and the abilities you can use through your contract with Morbius."
Ben glanced at Morbius.
Morbius was lying on the floor with his eyes closed.
"Looks like I’ll have plenty to learn."
Morbius opened one eye.
"You’ll have more than enough to keep you busy."
Ben looked at him.
"Can you teach me how to use Death Flames?"
Morbius closed his eye again.
"Of course. But don’t expect to master them immediately."
"Death Flames are much more complicated than the basic techniques you’ve been using."
Ben nodded.
"That’s fine."
Raymond looked at the time.
"We should leave soon."
"Maya, help Ben pack the things he needs."
"Anything he doesn’t need can remain here."
Maya nodded.
"Alright."
Ben stood up and looked at his storage ring.
"With a thousand cubic meters of space, I can probably bring almost everything."
"Don’t get carried away," Raymond said.
"The Moon has everything you’ll need. You only need your personal belongings and anything important you want to bring along."
Ben paused.
"Right."
He suddenly remembered the many items stored in his system inventory.
He had accumulated countless weapons, potions, skill books, cultivation resources, and other items during his time using the system.
Most of them had never been used.
I should probably organize everything before leaving.
Ben nodded to himself.
"I’ll go pack."
Maya followed him.
"Come on. I’ll help you decide what to bring."
As they walked away, Raymond looked toward Amanda.
"Once they are ready, contact the lunar facility and inform them that we’ll be bringing a newly awakened cultivator."
Amanda nodded.
"Do you want them to prepare a private training area?"
"Yes."
Raymond’s expression became serious.
"Make sure no one outside our trusted group knows about Ben."
Amanda nodded.
"Understood."
Raymond then looked toward Morbius.
"And keep an eye on him."
Morbius opened both eyes.
"You don’t need to tell me that."
"That human is already my master."
"If someone tries to harm him, I’ll deal with them."
Raymond nodded.
"Good."
Meanwhile, Ben had already reached his room with Maya.
He opened his storage ring and began putting his belongings inside.
Since he was going to be staying on the Moon for several months, he decided to bring his books, clothes, laptop, and other personal items.
According to Maya, most daily necessities would already be available at her house on the Moon since Ben would be staying with her.
Maya already had a house there. As a high-ranking member of the Solar Federation, she had been granted one as part of her privileges.
After packing most of his belongings, Ben stretched his arms and looked around.
"Damn, I didn’t realize I had this many things."
He looked toward Maya.
"Wait... where did she go?"
"Maya?"
He walked out of the wardrobe room and stopped.
Maya was sitting on the edge of the bed, having just changed into something more comfortable.
Ben immediately looked away.
"Uh... sorry. I didn’t know you were changing."
Maya smiled when she noticed his embarrassed expression.
"You’re the one who walked in without knocking."
Ben rubbed the back of his head.
"My mistake."
Maya stood up and walked closer to him.
"You’ve been acting strangely since you awakened."
"What do you mean?"
"You seem much happier now."
Maya walked toward him in her lingerie. Ben couldn’t help but look at her, his eyes lingering on her figure.
Maya blushed but didn’t try to hide herself. Instead, she seemed to become even more confident under his gaze.
"Before, whenever I saw you, there was always a hint of sadness around you," she said. "It was as if you were missing something. But now, that feeling is gone."
She stopped in front of him and gently caressed his cheek.
Ben smiled.
"I’ve always admired fantasy stories and the kind of worlds they describe. Maybe that’s why."
Maya nodded.
"I suppose that makes sense."
She leaned closer.
Ben closed his eyes as she wrapped her arms around him and kissed him.
He gently held her waist and returned the kiss.
After a moment, he lifted her slightly and carried her toward the bedroom while they continued kissing.
They fell onto the bed together, laughing softly before sharing another kiss.
Maya then snapped her fingers.
The curtains immediately closed, covering the windows, while the doors locked themselves.
Morbius, who had been resting nearby, suddenly found himself pushed out of the room by a gentle wave of energy.
"Tch. Bunch of idiots in heat," he muttered.
He walked away and closed his eyes, surrounding himself with celestial energy so he wouldn’t hear anything happening inside.
The next morning, Maya slowly opened her eyes and looked at Ben, who was still sleeping beside her.
Her face immediately turned red as memories of the previous night returned to her mind.
She glanced around the room and noticed the mess they had left behind.
Maya blushed even harder.
"Fuck... was I really that wild last night?" she muttered.
She quickly snapped her fingers.
A gentle stream of celestial energy spread throughout the room, cleaning everything and removing the lingering traces and scents from the previous night’s activities.
Once the room was clean, Maya sighed and looked back at the sleeping Ben.
