Сhаpter 3: Dо Yоu Wаnt tо Givе It a Try?

Shеng Shurаn felt she hаd been tоо indulgеnt with Сhi Неn.

Just beсаusе he sаid, “I’m injured аnd need sоmеonе to tаkе сarе оf me,” shе hаd асtuаllу, аs if bewitсhed, fоllоwed him back to his аpаrtment.Full novel: Moonlight Kissed the Wildly Growing Vine — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Аs Сhi Неn was oрening the dооr, Shеng Shurаn stoоd behind him, sizing him uр. He wаs wеаring а dirtу sweаtshirt stained with bloоd, his tаll frаmе аlmost reaсhing thе tоp оf the smаll apаrtmеnt’s dооrframe.

“Наve yоu grown tallеr аgаin? Нow аrе you still growing at 18?”

“Nineteen,” Сhi Hеn соrrесted hеr.

Sheng Shuran absеntmindedlу follоwed him intо the apartment, muttering as she walked, “Right, nineteen—still a little brat.”

Chi Hen suddenly stopped and turned around. Sheng Shuran bumped into his chest, lost her balance, and stumbled backward.

Chi Hen reached out and steadied her by the waist.

Sheng Shuran was wearing a fitted blouse, its summer fabric thin and light. She felt a wave of warmth against her slender waist.

“I became an adult a year ago. I’m a man now,” Chi Hen said, looking down at Sheng Shuran.

“So…” Sheng Shuran, oblivious to the turbulent emotions swirling in his dark eyes, asked on her own, “Do you have a girlfriend?”

“No,” he replied, his eyes dimming slightly as he turned and continued toward the bathroom.

“There are so many girls in university. Haven’t you found anyone you like?”

“No.”

“You should still try to interact more with your classmates and get along well…”

“Not necessary.”

“What type do you like? I can keep an eye out for you.”

Chi Hen had just stepped into the bathroom when he paused, turned around once more, and said, “I like older sisters.” His gaze rested squarely on Sheng Shuran, unwavering.

“Huh?” Sheng Shuran didn’t react for a moment, then let out a second, “Huh?”

“Older sisters… older than me,” Chi Hen added, watching her expression.

Sheng Shuran breathed a sigh of relief.

When he said “older sister,” she had thought he meant her.

She inwardly scolded herself for her dirty and narcissistic thoughts.

“Sheng Shuran, come in,” Chi Hen called from inside the bathroom, having entered without her noticing.

“What is it?” Sheng Shuran asked without much thought, pushing open the bathroom door to find Chi Hen, who had already taken off his pants.

His long legs were bare, clad only in a pair of boxers.

“Ah!” Caught off guard, Sheng Shuran instinctively covered her eyes. “Chi Hen, what are you doing!?”

“Taking a shower,” Chi Hen replied without a hint of embarrassment.

“Then go ahead and shower.”

“I can’t take off my clothes. Help me.”

“Then why did you take off your pants?”

“I can take off my pants by myself, but not my shirt.” His left hand was injured and wrapped in bandages.

Though grumbling and cursing under her breath, Sheng Shuran had no choice but to turn her head sideways, approach Chi Hen, and clumsily help him remove his shirt.

“Why are you so nervous? It’s not like you haven’t seen it before,” Chi Hen said in a low, calm voice.

It’s not the same!

The last time she saw his body, he was only 14 years old. He had been beaten bloody and bruised by Fu Zhenchuan for refusing to change his surname and was locked in his room.

Sheng Shuran had climbed through the second-floor window in the middle of the night to tend to his wounds as he lay on the brink of death.

Back then, he hadn’t grown tall yet, barely reaching her armpit, with the frame of a young boy.

Now, seeing him again as an adult—how could it be the same?

Just as Sheng Shuran was about to scold him, she turned her face and met his eyes. Those peach-blossom eyes, under the yellow light of the bathroom, seemed less stubborn and gloomy than usual, softened with a gentle touch.

Chi Hen was now practically naked.

Sheng Shuran’s ears suddenly flushed bright red. “Take your time washing up by yourself!”Furious and embarrassed, Sheng Shuran turned and left the bathroom, slamming the door shut with a loud “bang.”

After finishing his shower, Chi Hen came out and heard Sheng Shuran on the phone.

“Mhm, I just like them big, strong, and long-lasting!”

“The younger, the better!”

“If there’s a suitable one, let me try it first to see if it feels good!”

“Remember, it has to be big enough!!”

Sheng Shuran hung up the phone and turned her head, only to see Chi Hen staring at her. He was shirtless, with broad shoulders and a narrow waist, fresh out of the shower, water still glistening on his skin, exuding the raw, masculine scent of a grown man.

“Help me,” Chi Hen tossed her a T-shirt and sat down on the sofa.

Sheng Shuran took the clothes and walked over to him.

The sofa was low, so even sitting down, Chi Hen only reached her waist.

Her proximity forced his gaze to fall on her waist.

The form-fitting fabric outlined the curve of her waist, slender and delicate like a willow branch.

His eyes darkened and then lightened again…

Sheng Shuran helped Chi Hen slip the shirt on, all the while muttering under her breath:

“Are you just used to bossing me around? It’s not like I caused your car accident.”

“You did.”

As the collar settled into place, it revealed Chi Hen’s face, as perfectly proportioned as a manga character, along with those peach blossom eyes fixed on her—narrow and long, seductive enough to make one’s heart flutter.

He was looking up at her, his short hair slightly messy and still dripping with water. His prominent Adam’s apple bobbed, and his dark eyes simmered with a hidden intensity:

“Sis, mine is big too…

“…Want to give it a try?”
