Warning!

Warning!

Group member Ren Kurose’s consciousness is gradually fading into nothingness.

The Dimensional Chat Group will now intervene automatically!

Ren Kurose was still falling toward the blue star.

Rather than falling, however, it would be more accurate to say that he had been captured.

Those flames shaped like three flower petals were clearly devouring the star, and the wailing Ren Kurose had heard earlier might very well have come from it.

The star was about to be completely consumed by those three-petaled flames.

Faced with imminent death, perhaps that was why it had let out such a mournful cry.

An ordinary person would never have been able to hear it.

But Ren Kurose, currently existing in a soul state, had.

Unfortunately, Ren Kurose had already fallen unconscious, and just like the blue star, he had been caught by that terrifying existence.

In the end, Ren Kurose was swallowed by the crimson flames as well.

However, at the instant he was devoured, a layer of mysterious energy enveloped his body.

It was precisely this energy that prevented Ren Kurose from being completely destroyed like the star.

It even allowed him to…

fight back, if only slightly.

Time passed.

Within this space, however, the passage of time was difficult to perceive.

After Ren Kurose was swallowed by that terrifying existence, what seemed like an extremely long period passed.

Eventually, even the entire star vanished without a trace.

That meant the star had ultimately been eaten by the terrifying and unknown entity.

And along with it went Ren Kurose— the little dessert that had come with the meal.

However, Ren Kurose’s current condition was equally unusual.

The decisive choice he had made after hearing that voice just before losing consciousness had saved his life.

After devouring the star, the unknown terrifying entity suddenly discovered that there seemed to be something inside its body that simply could not be digested.

That discovery left the entity somewhat bewildered.

Afterward, it continuously struggled against the indigestible object within itself.

But the final result was completely beyond its expectations.

The thing inside its body was none other than Ren Kurose, protected by the Chat Group.

However, keeping Ren Kurose alive against such an existence was clearly far too difficult.

More importantly, Ren Kurose had already been swallowed.

Even if the Chat Group could protect him, there was no way for him to escape.

And so, at that moment, the Chat Group suddenly erupted with an incomparably powerful force.

The terrifying entity…

completely lost control of the situation.

…

When Ren Kurose woke again, he immediately felt that something about himself was strange.

After slowly adapting for a while, he finally discovered what was wrong.

His perspective had changed.

When Ren Kurose had still been human, he observed the world through his two eyes.

But after waking this time, it was as though he had been given panoramic vision.

He could see in every direction simultaneously.

Ren Kurose was stunned.

“What happened?”

“Where’s my body?

Burp…”

Ren Kurose was still wondering what was going on when he suddenly burped.

It was the kind of burp caused by being completely full.

That only made Ren Kurose even more bewildered.

He had absolutely no idea what had happened.

But at that moment, a flood of memories suddenly entered his mind.

Those memories came from a completely different perspective.

Within them, he saw his own human-shaped self.

Ren Kurose quickly understood.

That perspective must have belonged to the unknown terrifying existence that had devoured both the star and him.

Yet those memories had now entered his mind.

In other words…

it seemed that he and the other entity had merged.

Ren Kurose then began examining those memories.

The amount of information contained within them was enormous.

But they also allowed Ren Kurose to finally understand what had happened—as well as the identity of that terrifying existence.

With the power of the Chat Group, Ren Kurose had successfully merged with it.

More importantly, Ren Kurose himself was the dominant consciousness.

As for the identity of that existence…

Even now, Ren Kurose found it difficult to remain calm after learning the truth.

Its name was—

Yomagn’tho.

A top-tier Outer God of the Cthulhu Mythos—

Yomagn’tho, the Feaster from the Stars!

Its form was that of an enormous sphere of flame, with a pattern of three burning petals at its center.

As a native Earthling, Ren Kurose had naturally heard at least something about the Cthulhu Mythos.

Yomagn’tho might not compare with Azathoth, the supreme god of the Cthulhu Mythos, or the Three Pillar Gods—Nyarlathotep, Yog-Sothoth, and Shub-Niggurath.

Its reputation was also far less prominent.

Even so, there was no questioning Yomagn’tho’s terrifying power.

The fact that it fed upon celestial bodies alone was already extraordinary.

Not to mention that, according to legend, Yomagn’tho could even use a multiverse as fuel, burning everything within it to ashes.

There was another noteworthy detail.

Yomagn’tho was said to be waiting outside Azathoth’s palace for an opportunity to enter when its gates opened.

As for whether it intended to overthrow Azathoth or had some other purpose…

Ren Kurose had no idea.

After learning all of this, Ren Kurose’s emotions became extremely complicated.

If his previous guess had been correct, then he had originally been in the middle of transmigrating.

But halfway through the process, he had been captured by Yomagn’tho while the Outer God was feeding.

If the Chat Group hadn’t discovered him…

he really would have ended up as dessert.

What Ren Kurose had never expected was that he would now merge with Yomagn’tho— and that he would be the dominant one.

All of this had happened because of the Chat Group’s power.

He was now—

Yomagn’tho Ren Kurose.
