Ren Kurose’s current form was an enormous sphere.
This was also Yomagn’tho’s true form.
Judging from the fact that it had just devoured that star, the sphere itself was probably around the same size as the blue star from before.
Needless to say, its sheer scale was enormous.
At this moment, however, Ren Kurose succumbed to the overwhelming sense of fullness and fell into a deep sleep.
Previously, he had merely received Yomagn’tho’s memories.
Now, he needed time to digest them.
As for the Chat Group, it had fallen silent as well.
This state lasted for a very long time.
However, within this peculiar dimensional space where the passage of time was almost impossible to perceive, Ren Kurose naturally had no idea how much time had actually passed.
In any case, by the time he woke again, Ren Kurose had completely assimilated everything concerning Yomagn’tho.
He had also accepted his new identity.
At this moment—
Yomagn’tho Ren Kurose was truly born.
After coming back to his senses, however, Ren Kurose’s first thought was to leave this place.
From Yomagn’tho’s memories, he knew that the Outer God had only come here to feed.
Once it finished eating, it had originally intended to continue toward the outskirts of Azathoth’s palace and wait there.
But now that Ren Kurose was the dominant personality, he obviously had no intention of going there.
The personality centered around Ren Kurose naturally wanted to return to human society instead.
And so, Yomagn’tho Ren Kurose began using his abilities to locate the coordinates of a place called Earth.
Since Yomagn’tho was capable of using dimensional universes as fuel to burn everything away, it naturally possessed the ability to travel across dimensions as well.
Leaving this place was not difficult.
Unfortunately, Yomagn’tho Ren Kurose soon encountered a problem.
He found Earth— but discovered that he couldn’t enter it at all.
Cthulhu Mythos Outer Gods, particularly an existence such as Yomagn’tho, belonged to a disordered world.
Earth, meanwhile, clearly existed within an ordered world.
Entering an ordered world from a disordered world was extremely difficult.
More importantly, an existence like Yomagn’tho was inherently rejected by ordered worlds.
Thus, by relying on both his abilities and Yomagn’tho’s memories, Ren Kurose successfully located the “Earth” he was searching for.
Unfortunately, he simply couldn’t get there.
Of course, it wasn’t completely impossible.
According to the inherited memories he had received, as long as someone on Earth summoned him, he would be able to descend upon Earth directly through an avatar.
As for bringing his true body there…
He shouldn’t even think about that for now.
In addition, if someone on Earth attempted to summon the Great Old One Cthugha, Ren Kurose could also pull that person into his own mental world and use that connection to convey his thoughts.
After understanding all of this, Yomagn’tho Ren Kurose could only accept reality.
Even so, he decided to find a special space in which to conceal himself.
Although he was now a top-tier Outer God whose strength could not be underestimated, there were simply too many absurdly terrifying existences within the Cthulhu Mythos.
Azathoth was one thing, since it was currently still asleep.
But the other Three Pillar Gods were definitely not beings he wanted to provoke.
And apparently, his relationship with one of those Pillar Gods wasn’t particularly good either.
Therefore, Ren Kurose decided that keeping a low profile was the best course of action.
He completely concealed his aura.
And so, Yomagn’tho Ren Kurose hid himself alone within an isolated dimensional space that no one could find.
There, he would wait.
Perhaps one day…
someone would summon him.
Since returning to Earth was temporarily impossible, Ren Kurose could only give up on the idea for now.
Still, he wasn’t particularly upset.
After all, there was something else waiting for him to investigate.
The very thing that had helped him successfully merge with Yomagn’tho— the Chat Group.
Ren Kurose called out to the Chat Group within his mind.
Sure enough, a communication terminal appeared within his consciousness.
And inside that terminal was the Chat Group.
Naturally, the first thing Ren Kurose did was examine it.
After all, this Chat Group had been capable of defeating Yomagn’tho, the Feaster from the Stars.
The power behind it was clearly terrifying.
Dimensional Chat Group.
A communication platform connecting people from across different dimensions.
The announcement was simple and straightforward.
If Ren Kurose hadn’t personally experienced everything that had just happened, he probably would have assumed this was nothing more than an ordinary chat group.
After all, back in his original world, who would actually believe something like this existed?
Ren Kurose then checked the member list.
There weren’t many people.
Excluding himself, there were only six members.
Seven people in total.
Could something with only seven members really be called a Chat Group?
Uh…
Well, fine.
Six female college students could somehow create more than a dozen different group chats among themselves.
If those counted as groups, then there was obviously nothing wrong with this one either.
Bai Yuekui.
Nico Robin.
Mitsuri Kanroji.
Rikka Takanashi…
Why did all of these names sound so familiar?
In his previous life, Ren Kurose could at least be considered a casual anime fan.
Every now and then, he watched anime and played games.
There wasn’t much else he could do.
After all, Ren Kurose had only been an ordinary university student.
A truly ordinary one.
When he was hanging around the dormitory, watching anime and playing games were among the cheapest ways to pass the time.
And because of that, the moment Ren Kurose saw these names, he finally understood what the word “Dimensional” in the Dimensional Chat Group really meant.
Had he actually ended up connected to worlds inhabited by fictional 2D characters?
No matter how he looked at it, a Cthulhu Mythos Outer God seemed completely out of place beside these anime characters.
Ren Kurose had never expected that he would end up joining this kind of Chat Group.
But there was no denying one thing— this Chat Group really had saved him.
