Faced with this unknown summoning, Ren Kurose naturally accepted without hesitation.
He had finally gotten a chance to descend upon Earth.
There was no way he was going to let it slip away.
Following the pull of the summoning, Ren Kurose finally manifested on Earth.
The Ren Kurose who appeared there still took the form of a mass of flames.
His shape flickered unsteadily, making him look extraordinarily strange and unnatural.
Compared with his true body, however, this manifestation was incomparably tiny.
Using a human as a reference, it was only about the size of a person’s head.
Even so, the eerie aura surrounding it remained incredibly intense.
If an ordinary person were present, their mind and sanity would still be affected, potentially causing them to collapse.
After all, even if this was merely an avatar of Yomagn’tho— it was still an Outer God.
However, after sensing the people around him, Ren Kurose realized that the humans here didn’t seem entirely ordinary either.
Then again, that made sense.
Anyone capable of coming into contact with materials related to summoning a Cthulhu Mythos Outer God couldn’t possibly be completely ordinary.
Even after arriving here, Ren Kurose still possessed his full panoramic, three-hundred-and-sixty-degree vision.
Fortunately, he had already grown accustomed to seeing the world this way.
Afterward, Ren Kurose began examining his surroundings.
This place appeared to be some kind of large organization.
As for what exactly it did, Ren Kurose couldn’t tell yet.
Still, the overall style was highly modern.
Silver-white metal walls surrounded him, and from time to time, he could see a certain unusual emblem marked upon them.
That symbol looked strangely familiar to Ren Kurose.
He felt certain that he had seen it somewhere before.
But for the moment, he couldn’t remember where.
Ren Kurose floated toward another direction.
From somewhere ahead, explosions could occasionally be heard.
That’s right.
This place was clearly anything but peaceful.
It looked as though several major explosions had already occurred.
Since these were clearly explosions caused by gunpowder or similar technology, this was obviously an era in which such weapons existed.
Combined with the modern architectural style around him, Ren Kurose could already tell that this world’s technological development was fairly advanced.
He simply didn’t know how it compared to the world he had lived in before transmigrating.
Or perhaps…
could this actually be the same world he had originally come from? New chapters come out on g.com first.
Still, Ren Kurose felt that possibility was rather unlikely.
Maybe his previous world had possessed extraordinary powers too, and he had simply never discovered them because he had been far too ordinary.
As Ren Kurose continued forward, he soon finally encountered humans.
They were all wearing uniforms.
Clearly, the explosions had thrown them into complete panic.
Ren Kurose passed by them.
The instant he did, their emotions were amplified even further.
The fear caused by the explosions erupted completely within their hearts as Ren Kurose moved past.
Some of them even began crying.
Still, reducing someone’s SAN value all the way to zero obviously wasn’t that easy.
Moreover, Ren Kurose was currently only manifested through an avatar.
As long as he left quickly enough, these people wouldn’t immediately lose consciousness.
They were obviously not the ones who had summoned him.
So Ren Kurose’s priority was to find the actual summoner.
After continuing onward for a while, he soon arrived at a strange location.
There were numerous cylindrical devices here.
Inside many of them were people wearing uniforms.
Most of those people had already lost their lives.
Clearly, this was the core area where the explosion had occurred.
Among them, Ren Kurose soon located the person who had summoned him.
Looking through the glass of one of the cylindrical devices, he saw a man with golden-brown hair.
What surprised Ren Kurose even more was that the man was somehow still alive.
Everyone around him was already dead.
However, the golden-brown-haired man was also extremely weak.
His condition was clearly abnormal.
Ren Kurose quickly figured out what was wrong.
The man had probably also died because of the explosion.
More accurately, however, he seemed to be in a state of apparent death.
And yet…
his body was slowly recovering on its own.
The recovery was extremely slow, but there was no mistaking it.
Was this guy even human?
The humans Ren Kurose knew from his previous life definitely didn’t possess this kind of ability.
Unfortunately, although the man was recovering and healing himself, Ren Kurose estimated that it would take at least another six months for him to completely revive.
At present, Ren Kurose couldn’t even communicate with him.
Yomagn’tho might be extraordinarily powerful, but it didn’t possess any authority related to healing.
Ren Kurose had just been about to do something.
After all, this man was the one who had summoned him into this world.
Ren Kurose didn’t want to simply watch him die for nothing.
In a sense, the man had done him a favor.
However, Ren Kurose soon noticed a strange device nearby and stopped.
Inside this enormous room stood a peculiar apparatus.
At its core was a celestial body.
And it was one Ren Kurose was extremely familiar with.
That celestial body was—
Earth.
Of course, it wasn’t the real Earth.
It seemed to be nothing more than an informational model.
But Ren Kurose recognized this device.
Before transmigrating, he hadn’t only watched anime.
He had played games too.
And if he remembered correctly, this device was called—
CHALDEAS!
Which meant the person who had summoned him came from the Type-Moon universe.
Or, more specifically, from a certain six-letter game.
That was something Ren Kurose had never expected.
Then again, since he had already transmigrated into a crossover-anime multiverse, having an avatar summoned by someone from the Type-Moon side wasn’t exactly unreasonable.
After all, Ren Kurose remembered that in that game, Yog-Sothoth, one of the Three Pillar Gods of the Cthulhu Mythos, had some connection with Abigail.
And Abigail herself had even been summoned to Chaldea.
Wait…
Ren Kurose suddenly turned his attention back toward CHALDEAS.
In an instant, realization struck him.
He was— inside Chaldea.
