Gyro sensed some issues in Lucian’s words: “Since there are infinite parallel worlds, what makes ours so special?

Funny Valentine surely doesn’t need to be obsessed with just this world, right?

Why go through the trouble of dragging over versions of himself from other worlds?”Full novel: Multiverse: Starting From Jojo’s Steel Ball Run — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“Because the Saint’s Corpse is unique; the other worlds do not have the Saint’s Corpse.

Only this world is special; this is the Base World.”

“The other worlds actually don’t have a Saint!” Johnny was somewhat surprised upon hearing this.

“I don’t know if the other worlds have a Saint, but what I can be certain of is that only this world has the Saint’s Corpse.” It is said that only the Base World has the Saint’s Corpse, while the other worlds should have a Saint.

“Is it really like that?

Does that mean the other worlds don’t have any Stand Users?” Johnny only knew that the Saint’s Corpse could awaken a Stand; he knew almost nothing else.

“Stands aren’t only awakened by the corpse.

A Stand is a person’s fighting spirit; sometimes it awakens naturally without the need for external stimulation.” Lucian explained some basic concepts to them.

In the end of the manga, Gyro successfully awakened his own Stand, Ball Breaker, through his own skill.

“Besides the Saint’s Corpse, what other differences are there between the parallel worlds and the Base World?”

“I don’t know, I haven’t been to any parallel worlds.” The manga never covered the basic situation of the parallel worlds.

“Shouldn’t you know these things?” Gyro was constantly testing Lucian.

“Information-type Stands are not as powerful as you imagine.

How could I possibly know everything outside of parallel worlds?” Taking Joseph Joestar’s Stand as an example, it would be impossible for him to know so much; not even the most powerful information-type Stand would have as much information as Lucian possessed.

Gyro didn’t know whether to believe him or not: “Let’s just leave it at that, then.”

For a fleeting moment, Johnny actually wanted to attack Lucian directly to snatch the corpse, but Lucian appeared too unfathomable.

He didn’t know if making a move now would be within the other person’s expectations.

He didn’t know if Gyro and Mountain Tim would help him if he attacked directly.

Seeing that the conversation had reached a stopping point, Lucian bid the three of them farewell: “I plan to go back and see Sugar Mountain again.

Do you have anything you want to say to her?”

Johnny shook his head and said: “I have understood the test the Saint’s Corpse has set for me, but I have nothing to say to her.”

Gyro asked, frowning: “The tree’s binding should have been undone by now; is there any need to go see her again?”

“Is it the same as in fairy tales?

The princess and prince live happily ever after. New chapters come out on g.com first.

The end of the story doesn’t tell us what happens to the dwarves.

I have to go see what kind of ending the supporting characters of the story will get.

I am very certain that I am a supporting character in this story.” Lucian replied with a suggestive tone.

“Then who is the protagonist?

Us or the President?” Gyro asked, connecting it to the test Lucian had mentioned earlier.

“What kind of story do you think this is?

Is it about fate, or about resolve?

Or perhaps, is it about growth?”

“I hope this is a fairy tale, where I can achieve victory like the knight in the story.

And reach my goal.” Gyro replied, grinning with his gold teeth.

Lucian took off his hat and said to Gyro: “I hope that after this long journey concludes, you will be able to overcome fate.

This is my most heartfelt blessing to you.”

Gyro sensed the respect in Lucian’s words; he was always expressing respect towards nature.

Nature could understand Lucian’s meaning.

It seemed that his ending in fate might not be good.

He suddenly grinned with his gold teeth again and said: “At least it will be a good story, right?”

At this moment, he already had his resolve.

If fate could not be changed, then at least he would make this journey more fulfilling.

So, the protagonist of this journey was Johnny; he felt honored for his friend.

He hoped that at the end of the story, he could obtain a journey of perfection.

“Yes, it will be a very wonderful story.”

“What kind of role will you play in this story?”

“I don’t know.

I hope this story will eventually change in some way because of my existence.

The activation condition for Funny Valentine’s Stand is that he must be between the angle of two objects.”

Then, Lucian took out the Saint’s right hand and threw it to Johnny, saying: “Take it, I’ll give you this part first.

I still have use for the rest.

Perhaps I will hand the remaining parts directly to The President; I hope you won’t blame me.

From the perspective of a story, The President will inevitably obtain all the parts of the corpse, so it doesn’t matter who holds the corpse right now.

In the end, it will all gather in the hands of the person chosen by fate.”

Johnny listened, bewildered, while Gyro had already understood many things.

For the first time, Gyro felt a sense of goodwill toward the Easterner before him: “I hope this won’t be the last time I see you.

If the story truly has an ending, then I hope to have another drink with you at the end of the journey.”

“I hope to meet you in New York, if I am able to reach there as well.”

“Goodbye.”

Lucian waved at Johnny and Gyro, and set off with Mountain Tim on the road to see Sugar Mountain.

Mountain Tim insisted on following Lucian; his curiosity about Lucian was even greater now.

What kind of spirit was it to casually hand over the Saint’s Corpse to someone else?

Mountain Tim rode his horse alongside Lucian; Lucian’s horse was also more obedient to Mountain Tim.

“What about me in the story you mentioned?”

Lucian glanced at him and replied: “You are no longer in this story; why not choose a better ending for yourself?

While fate hasn’t pulled you back into this story yet.

Struggling will only make the net tighter.”

“Cowboys don’t run away from battle.

I have been looking for an end point since I started this journey.

Now I can already see it.

I won’t give up because of your words.” Mountain Tim replied nonchalantly.

At the very least, the characters in JoJo all possess great resolve, and that is where their charm lies.

Watching Lucian’s departing figure.

Johnny, holding the Saint’s right hand, asked Gyro with some confusion: “What did that Easterner say to you at the end?”

“Nothing much, just telling me that no matter which side the tennis ball lands on, I should accept it gladly.

We should keep moving forward.

Johnny, Lesson 3: Believe in the Spin; just believe in it.”

Johnny also understood that Gyro might suffer misfortune at the end of this journey, which couldn’t help but make him feel fear regarding this journey.
