When Mo Wang followed Himeko and Theresa to stand before the crowd, most of the Valkyries present were utterly bewildered.

Clearly, Mo Wang was something of a minor celebrity at St.

Quite a few Valkyries knew him—after all, when you put a boy in an all-girls school, and he spends his days brawling with another famous figure like Kiana, it’s hard not to become well-known.

However, everyone’s impression of Mo Wang was basically that of St.

Freya’s resident slacker.

Although he was a student in the Captain’s Department, no one had ever actually seen him pilot a ship.

He spent more time slacking off than attending classes, and he was full of tricks.

How, after just a few days, had this dried-up fish suddenly become a captain?

Ridiculous—was this what they called a dried-up fish flipping over?

“Ahem, everyone, quiet down.” Theresa let out a light cough.

“As you all know, Major Himeko was seriously injured during her last mission, so she’s temporarily stepping down as captain of the Hyperion.

Meanwhile, our new captain will be Mo Wang, an outstanding student from our academy’s Captain’s Department.”

When Theresa delivered this news with a calm expression, the Valkyries present fell into silence.

Outstanding student?

Mo Wang?

Hearing that, they nearly burst out laughing.

While Mo Wang’s grades couldn’t exactly be called poor, given his usual behavior, he was nowhere near the definition of an outstanding student.

And letting a student become captain of the Hyperion—was that really okay?

“I object!

Why does he get to be captain?!” Suddenly, a flash of white hair burst out from the crowd, angrily pointing at the dried-up fish and denouncing the academy’s injustice.

The crowd was taken aback.

Who dared to make a scene here?

Turning to look, they saw it was none other than the academy principal’s niece—Kiana Kaslana!

The crowd was stunned, then relaxed and settled in to watch the show.

“Kiana!

What are you up to now?!” Theresa, seeing that it was her troublemaking niece, wished she could smack her with a bitter melon.

“What exactly are you objecting to?!”

But Kiana, already fired up, showed no fear.

She strode to the front of the crowd and shouted, “I see that the academy principal is young and naive, and Teacher Himeko is old and frail!

Yet you let a dried-up fish become captain!

And here I am, still just a B-rank Valkyrie—how outrageous is that?!

A dried-up fish, daring to be captain of the Hyperion?

I’ve never seen such a shameless person!”

Kiana, as if she were a loyal minister witnessing an emperor and chancellor’s folly, spoke with righteous indignation, even calling upon the assembled “court officials” to rise up against this treacherous minister!

However, the so-called officials remained silent as mice, afraid of getting blood splattered on them.

“Whew~” After listening to Kiana’s tirade, Theresa took a deep breath and looked at her dear niece with a “benevolent smile.” “Kiana, where did you learn all that?”

“Oh, that?

I heard it from the class monitor.

It’s some ancient classical Chinese format.

Apparently, someone once got scolded to death with it.” “So, Auntie, do I sound convincing or what?” Kiana said proudly, looking at Theresa.

Whether it was convincing was hard to say, but Fu Hua in the crowd had already clenched her fists.

Damn it!

What exactly did you learn?!

I taught you classical Chinese to use for cursing people?!

Her fists were hardening!

“Heh, heh heh!

Take this—Judgment of the Shamash!” Before Kiana could react, a golden cross suddenly shot out from behind Theresa, sending the foul-mouthed white-haired girl flying.

The terrifying force slammed her straight into the wall.

Every now and then, Kiana’s pert rear end would twitch involuntarily.

But such a horrifying scene was nothing new to the Valkyries present—they even felt like grabbing some snacks to watch.

“Don’t be angry, Principal.

After all, Kiana’s still a kid.

No need to take it so seriously.

Here, have some bitter melon juice.” Mo Wang, who had already enjoyed the show, began comforting Theresa, pulling out a bottle of bitter melon juice from who-knows-where and handing it to her.

(Don’t ask why the protagonist carries bitter melon juice—the answer is that it’s Theresa’s exclusive feeding resource and must be kept on hand at all times.)

Mo Wang, watching Kiana still twitching, had already made up his mind.

From now on, the Hyperion’s toilets would be her responsibility.

Heh heh heh—the foolish white-haired dumpling had finally fallen into his hands.

“Ha~ I’m not angry.

I’m not angry.” Taking a sip of bitter melon juice, Theresa finally suppressed her rage.

Himeko, meanwhile, let out a helpless bitter smile.

Putting these two troublemakers of the academy together—was this decision really okay?

“I object!” However, the white cat that had been smashed into the wall revived at full health in no time and jumped back down.

“What else do you have to object to?!” Theresa was furious.

She decided to teach her disobedient niece a lesson she wouldn’t forget.

“Why, why does this dried-up fish get to be captain?!” Kiana gritted her teeth, glaring at Mo Wang, who was looking at her with a smug grin.

She wasn’t even allowed to advance to A-rank Valkyrie, yet Mo Wang, who was on the same level as her, had suddenly become her direct superior!

“Honestly, I’d like to know too.” Mo Wang shrugged.

Did she think becoming captain of the Hyperion was some great position?

Anyone with half a brain could see that he was just there to take the blame!

Normally, whether he’d even survive to next month was the real question.

But that didn’t stop him from showing off in front of Kiana right now.

“What?

Not convinced?

Then let’s settle it with a fight!

Today, I’ll make you admit defeat with all your heart!” Mo Wang beckoned to Kiana, oozing provocation.

“A fight it is!

Who’s afraid of who?!” Kiana’s teeth ground audibly.

“Today, I’ll turn you into a real dried-up fish!”

“Loser becomes the winner’s servant for a year—obedient in everything!

Dare to take that bet?!”

“Why wouldn’t I dare, you scoundrel!”

Both sides had already rolled up their sleeves, looking ready to throw down again.

“Principal, are you sure we shouldn’t stop them?” Himeko, watching the two head toward the training ground, asked Theresa with some concern.

“It’s fine.

After all, Mo Wang’s been dropped into the captain position out of nowhere.

If he wants to establish his authority, he’ll need some special methods.” Theresa took a nice sip of bitter melon juice and said to Himeko.

Such tactics were all too common at Schicksal.

“But can Mo Wang actually handle it?” Himeko wasn’t so sure.

While Mo Wang was considered capable among the male students, compared to someone like Kiana—whose real strength was close to an A-rank Valkyrie—he was still completely outmatched.

The two had fought before, and Mo Wang had basically always ended up losing.

“He should…

probably manage?

That kid’s got plenty of tricks up his sleeve.” Theresa thought back to the sly grin Mo Wang had worn earlier and wasn’t entirely certain either.

For all she knew, he might have slipped something into Kiana’s breakfast this morning.
