Just as she lifted the bedsheet and got ready to toss it into the washing machine for a wash, a sudden thud resonated through the quiet room, and an object resembling a notebook slipped out, dropping straight onto the floor.

Curiosity getting the better of her, she leaned down, picked it up, and took a look.

Printed right across the front cover were several prominent words: [Hayashi Rin’s Diary (Ran Mōri’s Exclusive Copy)].

“Hmm?”

Who in the world is Hayashi Rin?

Why have I never heard that name before?

Why would his diary be sitting right inside my room?

And what on earth does that ‘Exclusive Copy’ note on the back mean?

A wave of confusion washed over Ran Mōri.

She couldn’t help but wonder to herself: ‘Did Conan drag home another weird trinket from outside?’

Ever since Conan moved in with them, strange occurrences seemed to happen more and more frequently.

Her father, Kogoro Mōri, managed to stumble across various criminal cases almost every single day whenever he stepped outside.

On top of that, every time an incident occurred, her father would mysteriously fall dead asleep right at the crime scene.

Then, as if granted divine intervention, he would effortlessly solve one complicated case after another.

By now, everyone had taken to calling him the Sleeping Kogoro.

That little kid also loved darting all over the place whenever a case broke out, constantly bringing home odd knick-knacks from the outside world.

With that thought in mind, Ran carried the diary out of the bedroom.

Spotting Conan, she called out, “Conan, is this diary yours?”

Conan blinked in utter bewilderment and replied, “Ran-nēchan, there isn’t any diary over there.”

“What do you mean, where is it?”

“I don’t write in any diary!”

Ran stared at the notebook in her hand, completely baffled.

The thing was clearly sitting right there in plain view, so why couldn’t Conan see it at all?

Right at that moment, Kogoro Mōri set down the newspaper he had been holding.

He cast a probing glance toward Ran, speaking up with a sigh: “Ran, have you been so exhausted lately that you’re starting to hallucinate?”

“There isn’t any diary there at all.”

Kogoro then rubbed his chin with a deadpan, serious look on his face—a genuine rarity for him.

“Tell you what, let’s go on a trip this weekend to unwind so your nerves aren’t strung tight all day long.”

“Are you missing that brat Shinichi Kudō again lately?”

“Hmph, why even waste your time thinking about an irresponsible brat like him?

He’s been gone for so long without sending you a single update.”

After speaking his mind, he raised his newspaper once more, but from behind the broadsheet, the corners of his eyes darted sideways, stealing a furtive glance toward Conan.

Hearing those words, Conan thought to himself: ‘That’s true…

it’s been a really long time since I last contacted Ran.

Looks like I need to find some time to give her a call from a public phone booth.’

Ran only then realized that the diary in her hands was visible exclusively to herself, a realization that left her thoroughly stunned.

“Oh…

maybe I really am hallucinating.”

Murmuring a quick excuse, she carried the diary back into her room.

After quietly shutting the door behind her, she flipped the diary open, driven by sheer curiosity.

What she didn’t know, however, was that the exact moment she opened the notebook, across various corners of the world, countless breathtaking beauties—from innocent maidens to alluring vixens, tsundere heroines to cunning schemers, independent mature ladies to elegant married women—were all opening their own respective diaries with that exact same look of curious wonder.

Ran turned to the very first page, and the opening line instantly leaped out at her eyes.

[I transmigrated.

I actually, really transmigrated.]

[Back then, I used to read a lot of novels, watching all those main characters get transmigrated to the point of making me envious.]

[Yet, as someone who believed in science and grew up an atheist from childhood, I always knew that transmigration was nothing more than a fantasy trope, and I never took it seriously for a second.]

Reading that line, Ran’s eyes widened in surprise: “Transmigration?”

“Isn’t that the most popular web novel trope these days?”

In this world, novels revolving around dimensional travelers and reincarnations had grown immensely popular as well.

For instance, the trending novel ‘That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime’ was widely loved throughout school hallways.

Ran had read her fair share of transmigration stories before, so she naturally understood the whole premise behind it.

She lightly bit her pink lip, murmuring under her breath: “Transmigration?

How could that even be possible!”

“This has to be a joke.

There’s no way someone could actually transmigrate into another reality.”

Yet, recalling the sheer bizarre nature of this diary—the fact that neither Conan nor her father could see it, leaving only her capable of laying eyes on it—a sliver of doubt began to creep into her mind.

There were really only two possibilities: either she was completely burnt out and hallucinating, or this diary truly held some miraculous power, which would mean everything written inside was the honest truth, and someone really had transmigrated here.

And that someone was this person named Hayashi Rin.

Suspended between curiosity and skepticism, Ran continued reading.

[Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine I’d actually transmigrate, turning into one of those lucky dimensional travelers.]

[What’s more, I ended up transmigrating right into a two-dimensional anime world.]

[Granted, there are so many gorgeous girls in the anime world that I genuinely adore.]

[I won’t deny that I like Ran Mōri, I like Rikka Takanashi, I like Haruhi Suzumiya, I like Mikoto Misaka, I like Hinata Hyūga, and I like tons of other pretty girls.]

[But come on, give me a break!

I didn’t actually want to transmigrate.

If I’m gone, what happens to my parents?

Wouldn’t they have to suffer through the heartbreak of outliving their own child?]

[Still, what’s done is done.

What can I even do about it now that I’m already here?

Luckily, I still have an older brother and a younger sister back home who can step in for me to take care of Mom and Dad until their final days.]

[Dad, Mom, I’m so sorry!

In this lifetime, I won’t be able to fulfill my filial duties and stay by your side.

We can only meet again in the next life.]

Reading those words, a faint blush crept across Ran’s cheeks.

This guy was openly confessing his feelings toward her right in his personal diary.

Even though being admired wasn’t a bad feeling, she didn’t know this Hayashi Rin person at all.

And on top of that, he was claiming that their entire world was just a flat, two-dimensional anime world.

How could that be?

The reality we live in is actually an anime world, just like the manga volumes I usually read?

The whole idea was completely absurd.

Ran even began questioning her own sanity, yet her eyes couldn’t help but drift further down the page.

[Of course, as a dimensional traveler, I should pretty much be a Child of Destiny.

Maybe one day I can rely on my Golden Finger to climb all the way to the peak of this world, gain immortality, and shatter the dimensional boundaries.]

[When that day comes, I might actually be able to punch through the dimensional wall, return to my original world, and stand before my parents backed by unfathomable power.]

[Looking at it from that angle, this isn’t entirely bad news after all.]

[The odds are looking pretty good, especially considering this place is actually a massive crossover anime world.]

Can’t wait to see what happens next?

Plus, I’ll be dropping exclusive 18+ content there much earlier.
