Dear Diary, my name is Sliviy von Shiba, the fourth princess of the Loid Kingdom.

I am typing this into my tablet for recording purposes. Well, I can't exactly tell you the true reason behind it, so let's just leave it at that: for recording purposes, and nothing more.

The Strict Warden

, or The

Strict Princess

which is exactly how I got stuck with that completely unnecessary title.

Anyway, let me give you my proper introduction:

Name: Sliviy von Shiba

Age: 20

Marital Status: Single

Hobbies: Reading

That's is all, my short introduction.

Day 1

It was eight o'clock in the morning. I was sleeping peacefully in my bedroom, comfortably bundled up in my pink pajamas.

The room temperature was cold. Just the way I like it, and low enough to lull me into a deep, heavy sleep.

Suddenly, the harsh sound of my alarm clock shattered the morning silence.

Beep, Beep.

"What is it...?" I mumbled, still trapped in a half-asleep daze, completely unwilling to wake up.

Beep, Beep.

"Eoungh, stop!" I murmured grumpily. Forcing myself upright, I sat in bed and blearily stared at the clock while my brain desperately tried to boot up.

The device itself was just a small black box, glowing with a soft cyan light that displayed the current time.

Beep, Beep.

The clock beeped yet again, making me realize I hadn't actually muted the alarm. Sluggishly, I reached out and pressed the button on top of the box to silence it.

Swinging my legs out of bed, I walked over to the window and pulled the curtains aside, revealing a brilliant wave of sunshine pouring over a spectacular view of the bustling roads and towering skyscrapers below.

I stretched both of my arms high above my head, letting out a massive yawn to finally force myself awake.

"Yawn… Good morning, Mother," I whispered softly to the empty room. I couldn't help but miss her, even though I had never actually known her or seen what she looked like in person.

According to my stupid, lazy father, Mother supposedly looked roughly like Big Sister Iris. I suppose I'll just have to take his word on that.

I walked over to the full-length mirror tucked into the corner of the bedroom and stared my reflection.

"I am a total mess," I sighed, reminding myself that maintaining a proper appearance is vital for a princess.

"I need to get dressed," I said to myself. Turning away from the glass, I made a centerline for the bathroom, since my quarters luckily happened to be a master suite.

So I asked the room while heading toward the bathroom door, wanting a quick check on my latest to-do list, "Hey, Little-chan. What is my schedule today?"

Little-chan is an AI assistant embedded within the clock, custom-built by my sister Takao specifically to help me organize and handle my arrangements ahead of time. Honestly, she is a total lifesaver.

Right on cue, Little-chan responded to my query, a crisp, robotic voice echoing from the desk:

"Good morning, Ms. Sliviy. The current time is 8:10 AM. Today's weather: Sunny for the entire day.

Your schedule for today is as follows:

9:00 AM: Breakfast

10:00 AM: Check on my lazy father

12:00 PM: Meeting with Big Sister Iris regarding the incident report

1:00 PM: Lunch

2:00 PM: Check on my lazy father

6:00 PM: Dinner

7:00 PM: Check on my lazy father

9:00 PM: Supper

10:00 PM: Check on my lazy father

10:30 PM: Bedtime

Do you wish to hear the agenda for the following day?"

Hearing the robotic voice read that repetitive nightmare aloud made my face turn incredibly dark.

Overwhelmed with sheer embarrassment, I scrambled toward the bathroom to hide.

"No!" I shouted back at the clock, my cheeks burning with total shame as I slammed the bathroom door shut.

"Understood, Ms. Sliviy," Little-chan replied politely through the thick wood.

Inside the bathroom, I let out a heavy sigh and leaned back against the closed door, seriously considering returning the device to Sister Takao first thing tomorrow.

"What on earth is that schedule? That is incredibly embarrassing," I muttered, burying my face in my hands to try and shake off the cringe. "Don't worry, the machine clearly seems broken. I am definitely returning it."

Day 2

It was around 11:00 AM, rapidly approaching noon.

I was officially supposed to report for my standard princess duties, but the moment I pushed open the heavy doors to the King's office, I froze.

Sitting right there on the King's desk was a massive, daunting stack of neglected paperwork.

"Sigh… If it's just one stack of paperwork, it should be fine," I muttered in sheer disbelief and disappointment. "Curse my stupid, lazy father."

By 3:00 PM, the afternoon sun was beginning to wane.

"Sigh... Just one more page to complete," I whispered to myself, feeling a genuine wave of relief wash over my exhausted mind.

"Once this final page is done, I am immediately going for a very late lunch. All because of my lazy father." I felt a spike of anger, but I did my best to keep it tightly managed.

I leaned over the document, skimming through the text. "Okay… reading here and there. Let's see… a topic regarding new research on the love relationships of married couples, sharing knowledge about sexuality, and the biological mechanics of how a man produces a child with a woman…"

I abruptly stopped reading and gently placed the paper down onto the King's desk. I sat there completely stunned, finding the entire proposal utterly ridiculous.

While I managed to suppress any outward emotion, internally, a wave of profound disgust hit me.

"Wh-What the hell is this garbage?!" I thought, my mind reeling from the shock.

"Researching love and sexuality?! No way! Absolutely not! Let me see who even submitted this absurd request... Princess Rory?!"

I blinked in utter disbelief. "Why on earth is Sister Rory getting mixed up in stuff like this?!" I paused, trying to make sense of the situation.

"It has to be her assistant's doing, right?! Never mind, it doesn't matter who sent it. I am rejecting this immediately!!"

Fueled by sheer determination, I snatched a pen and aggressively scribbled a massive rejection across the proposal.

"There! I certainly hope no one ever saw me reading that," I muttered.

Having finished the daily quota, I neatly hid the rejected paper right in the dead center of the completed stack.

Day 3

It was the exact same time as the previous day, but when I walked into the King's office this time, his desk wasn't just messy, it was completely buried under a towering mountain of paperwork that practically filled the entire room.

As I stood there gaping at the mess, I caught sight of one of the royal maids slipping into the room, holding yet another stack of documents to add to the horrifying collection.

"You there!!" I shouted, stepping forward to interrogate her.

The maid's eyes went wide as she recognized me. "Oh no, she's walking right toward me! That's the Strict Princess! I have to escape immediately!" she panicked internally.

"Where did this paperwork come from? And where exactly was it supposed to go?" I demanded.

"Ermm... i-i-it's... it's for King Miyi!" The maid fumbled over her words frantically and she quickly dumped the fresh stack onto the nearest pile and bolted out of the room at full speed.

"Wait! You haven't fully answered me yet! Why are you running away?!" I called out, genuinely confused as to why a simple question had caused such panic.

Looking back at the ocean of documents, my frustration boiled over. "Sigh... Look at all of this.

CURSE YOU, STUPID FATHER AND LAZY KING!!" I shouted angrily.

Turning on my heel, I marched straight out of the office and stormed down the corridor toward my father's royal bedroom.

The moment I arrived, I didn't bother knocking. I simply kicked the heavy door wide open.

BANG!

"YOU STUPID, LAZY FATHER!!" I bellowed into the center of the room.

There he was, lazily sprawled out across the mattress, tightly hugging his plush pillow without a care in the world.

"Yawn… Good morning, Sliviy" Father lazily blinked up at me and let out a sleepy yawn right in my face, which only made my irritation skyrocket.

"GOOD MORNING!?, IT IS NOON!!" I shouted and stalking over to the side of the bed.

I reached down, grabbed his ear firmly, and yanked him upright.

"Ouch! It hurts!" Father whined, wincing from the pain.

"You are coming with me right now," I ordered, my voice dripping with pure anger.

"Huh?" Father mumbled, completely unconcerned by the gravity of the situation.

I narrow my eyes and instantly channeled my mana. "Dimensional Teleportation!"

In a blinding flash of pink light, space fractured. An instant later, Father and I materialized right back in the center of the King's office, directly facing the horrifying mountains of neglected work.

"You lazy father, look at this mountain of paperwork! You are going to sit down and finish it with me," I demanded, pointing a strict finger at the piles.

Father lazily looked at the sea of documents and pointed back a single finger. "I don't want to do those."

"I am not taking 'no' for an answer," I snapped back coldly, glaring down at his laziness. "If you refuse, you already know what the consequences will be."

Faced with no escape, it ultimately took us four grueling days inside the King's office to completely clear the mountain of paperwork, all because of my pathologically lazy father.

What an utter disappointment.

End of Diary.
