Well, I guess they’re the basics for a reason. Every single spell was super easy to learn. As evidenced by the fact I’m floating above the ground, playing with a ball of lightning by making it fly around the room with a flick of my finger. I wonder if those books were written by the ancient scholar, because they were so easy to understand!

The hardest thing to get was at the end of the gravity book, the Black Hole spell! It required using an increasing amount of gravity magic to compress the oxygen molecules in the air until it’s so tiny it forms a black hole! Then you have to coat the outside of the formed black hole with another layer of gravity magic to ensure that it can’t become a free black hole, as you can imagine how bad that could be.

You make pinprick holes in the gravity magic to allow it to suck up objects or your enemies. It was, however, stated that it’s illegal to use this spell because of its dangerous nature.Full novel: My Isekai Dungeon Harem! — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Yeah, these books absolutely cannot be the basics. Come on, I’m not some dense LN protag who can’t see the writing on the room. Not to mention how much my mind skill jumped up after learning all these spells:

The quadrupling effect that the robes give is basically the only reason I’m even able to cast the black hole spell. Even then, I have to fully focus on it to cast it, and that would leave me open to attack by others.

I think I’ll stick with the other elements mostly. Gravity magic is difficult.

After finishing up reading the last little bit of the book, I clap it shut and put it in the bag on my hip with the others. Yup, the bag is a bag of holding type situation.

After reading all of those books, I realize that it’s been a few hours since I came in here, so I should probably go back out and eat dinner. I am getting rather hungry.

I slowly float myself down to the ground and walk through the portal. Instantly, I wave my hand and cast a few spells. The door to my freezer opens up and brings out a small bag of frozen chicken. It opens on its own and pours the contents on a baking sheet that already has wax paper on it. The oven preheats itself almost instantly before the pan full of chicken is put it.

I float some tortillas into the toaster oven on the counter top and warm them up. I also get some spring mix out and some hot sauce.

After a few minutes, both the tortillas and chicken are done, so I get them out together and float them up. I split the chicken up between two tortillas, put some spring mix with them, and drizzle on some hot sauce before wrapping them up like two mini burritos. I float them over, along with a can of soda, and take a bite of one while turning on the TV.

After watching some anime, I look at my phone and see the time…

[9:34 A.M.]

…

It’s only been half an hour? I went in around like nine. Work hasn’t even started yet… I coulda swore I spent like ten hours in there at least! Time probably flows differently in there. If that’s the case…

I’m probably gonna have to find a source of food on the other side then… I don’t exactly have unlimited funds here.

Sadly, I didn’t find a book on Druidic magic, otherwise I’d just start growing my foods.

After eating, I stretch a bit and head back into the portal. After that, I head to the door on the other side of the room and walk out of it.

The other side is exactly like I suspected, more stone brick hallways. They’re surprisingly well-lit just like the scholar’s room.

After walking for a bit, I eventually hear some noises…

It sounds like clattering, almost like bones?

“Ah, it’s skeletons.”

When I round the corner, I come across a small group of about five skeletons, all shambling about. When one of them spots me, the red flames in its eyes burn brighter. It charges me at a relatively slow pace. The others follow suit. They all wield clubs and pot lids for shields.

“No wonder you guys are always low level enemies in games!”

I giggle and clap my hands as sparks fly between them. I pull my hands apart as a bright red fireball forms between them. The further I spread my hands, the bigger the ball gets. After making a ball about three feet in diameter, I chuckle as I feel the heat wafting off the fireball.

“So? What do you skele-bois think about my beginner magic? Ah, right, you’re not sentient. Bye bye!”

I shoot the ball forwards. It shoots off small embers that cost the hallway as it travels. It passes through the first skeleton, instantly melting its bones. When it reaches the center of the pack, I hold up a hand and snap, causing the fireball to explode.

*BAKOOOOM!*

The second it explodes, the skeletons are all broken apart. Parts of them melt, and everything that doesn’t melt is either ash or charred beyond repair. All of their weapons are completely ruined, obviously.

I throw up a wind barrier to keep the sound waves from fully reaching me, as I’d rather not go deaf!

After the sound dissipates, I send the wind barrier forwards to blow away the smoke and ash in the air.

As I walk, I find a few small, red crystals on the ground where the skeletons were once standing. Honestly, I’m surprised that they even survived the fire…

I’m gonna guess these are worth some money in this world, if it isn’t just one giant dungeon.

I swipe my finger and make all four of them get in my pouch before continuing on.

As I travel the dungeon, I run into all kinds of monsters. Kobolds, goblins, more skeletons, even a salamander! They were all pretty weak to be honest. A single spell did all of them in. In total, I got about twenty red crystals, and one orange one from the salamander.

Eventually, I make it to another door. Instead of the wood that the door to the scholar’s study had, this one is solid stone. It’s also twice my height, and has golden ornamentation.

Yup. This is absolutely a boss room.

Well, nothing else put up any fight here so far, so I may as well head in. With a blast of gravity magic, the doors swing open, revealing a dimly lit… church?

It certainly looks like the Christian churches in my world, at least. However, instead of a cross, the symbol they worship looks kinda weird. Three circles sitting on top of a stem that ends in a hook or a sickle. And standing before the pulpit is a rather interesting sight.

A skeleton with golden flames in its eyes, wearing a white set of armor with golden accents. As it notices me, I closes the visor on its armor and draws its sword before taking a stance.

“Huh. You’re different from the other skele-bois I’ve taken out so far. Did you retain some of your abilities, or even some sentience?”

I start to float up into the air, looking down at it with a slight smirk. My blood starts pumping as a giggle threatens to escape my lips.

“Based on your lack of reaction, I’ll go with answer number one. In that case!”

I hold up my right arm to my side and cast a small fireball,

“Let’s see how long we can play together!”
