Still no response.

"What about tasks? Attribute panel? There should be some beginner's guide, right?"

The only sound in the dorm was Zhao Luyuan scrolling through short videos.

Lu Yibei, unwilling to give up, tried several other names in his mind.

System buddy, System bro, System master, customer service.

He even shouted "transfer to human" twice.

His mind was as silent as a customer service line after hours.

He figured it out.

This system had no intention of communicating with him. No personality, no emotions, and definitely not going to pop up to banter with the host. It just makes a sound when it's time to give a reward, then disappears, focusing solely on the money, don't ask about anything else.

The good news is it's quiet.

The bad news is he doesn't even have a user manual.

Lu Yibei reviewed the equity custody email again. The shares were real, and so were the dividends. Although the system was like a long-lost relative suddenly sending money, at least it was straightforward.

Since he couldn't get any answers, he decided to leave it be for now.

After all, the shares had already been credited. Even if the system continued to play dead, Lu Yibei could forgive it.

The time on his phone quickly jumped to 1:40 PM.

He had a class at 2 PM.

Lu Yibei sighed.

Even with a net worth of 28 billion, he couldn't automatically earn credits. The rules of this world were indeed rigorous.

He got out of bed, changed clothes, and stuffed his textbooks and power bank into his bag. Zhou Shuhang was already ready, sitting at the desk reading. Zhao Luyuan was still in front of the mirror, trying to make each strand of hair express its own thoughts.

Only Chen Jiashu was sitting in a chair, holding his phone and smiling foolishly.

That smile was pure.

Like a big dog finally waiting for its owner to come home in winter.

Lu Yibei slung his bag over his shoulder and casually asked, "Has that classmate of yours agreed to date you yet?"

Chen Jiashu looked up, a bit embarrassed in his smile.

"She said she wants to focus on her studies for now."

The dorm was quiet for two seconds.

Lu Yibei glanced at Chen Jiashu, then at his phone's bright screen.

At the top of the chat box was a message just sent by Jiang Wanwan.

"Jiashu, I still want to focus on my studies for now, not considering dating. By the way, the books I ordered have arrived, two boxes. Can you help me move them to the dorm downstairs tonight?"

Rejection and ordering in the same message, not even bothering to start a new line.

Even a dog would shake its head at such an excuse, yet someone actually believed it.

Zhao Luyuan put down the comb, his expression as serious as if he were about to hold an emergency meeting.

"Jiashu, let me translate for you."

"Translate what?"

"She's not focused on her studies," Zhao Luyuan patted his shoulder, "she's just not focused on you."

Chen Jiashu frowned.

"Don't talk nonsense, Wanwan is really busy with her studies."

Zhou Shuhang didn't even look up.

"Busy directing you?"

"Two boxes of books are quite heavy, she can't move them alone."

"The school has delivery carts."

"Delivery carts cost money."

Zhou Shuhang finally looked up.

"So you're free."

Chen Jiashu opened his mouth but couldn't immediately refute.

Zhao Luyuan seized the opportunity to continue.

"Brother, let me give you some advice. Don't be a simp for a woman. In the end, all you'll have is a strong tongue and nothing else."

"I'm not a simp."

"You've been carrying her bags since high school, now you're moving her packages in college. She's raising fish, and you're in the pond providing oxygen. Isn't that simping?"

"We're classmates, helping each other is normal."

"What has she helped you with?" Lu Yibei asked.

Chen Jiashu was stuck.

He seriously thought for over ten seconds.

"She reminded me to wear more clothes when it was cold."

Zhou Shuhang said blandly, "That function seems like a built-in weather app on a phone."

Zhao Luyuan almost laughed himself off the table.

Chen Jiashu's face turned a bit red, still insisting, "She's just slow to warm up."

"Slow to warm up from high school to sophomore year?" Zhao Luyuan's eyes widened, "The glaciers are almost melted, and she's still not warmed up. You're not in a relationship, you're in geological movement."

Lu Yibei patted Chen Jiashu on the shoulder.

"There's nothing wrong with liking someone, and helping is fine too. But you can't live your life as a laborer."

Chen Jiashu looked down at his phone.

Jiang Wanwan sent another message.

"If you're busy, forget it. I'll move them slowly myself."

Followed by a pitiful emoji.

Chen Jiashu's fingers immediately started moving.

Zhao Luyuan, quick-eyed and quick-handed, pressed down on his phone.

"Don't reply."

"She can't move them alone."

"If you reply now, today it's moving books, tomorrow it's moving tables, and the day after tomorrow when she gets married, you'll be moving the dowry."

"That's an exaggeration."

"Then give me your phone."

"What do you want to do?"

"I'll reply for you with four words."

Chen Jiashu guarded his phone vigilantly, "Which four words?"

Zhao Luyuan enunciated each word.

"Focus on your studies."

Lu Yibei couldn't help but laugh.

Zhou Shuhang closed his book and stood up.

"Let's go, if we keep chatting, the studies won't be heavy, but the tardiness record will be."

Only then did the group head out of the dorm.

Chen Jiashu lagged behind, holding his phone, the message still unsent.

At least for now.

When Lu Yibei reached downstairs, he received a new message on his phone.

Tang Jianguo: "Mr. Lu, I'll be waiting for you at Huashang Bank Pengcheng Branch at 3:30 PM. The relevant team is ready, just contact me when you arrive."

At 3:20 PM, the class bell rang.

Lu Yibei packed up his textbooks and said to his three roommates, "I have some errands to run, you guys head back to the dorm first."

Zhao Luyuan immediately leaned over, "What errands? Secret date behind our backs?"

"Opening a bank account."

"Why not take me with you?"

"Afraid the bank will see you and lower my credit score."

Without giving him a chance to ask more questions, Lu Yibei slung his bag over his shoulder and walked out of the classroom.

At 3:28 PM, he got out of the car in front of Huashang Bank Pengcheng Branch.

A man in his forties was already waiting at the bottom of the steps. Seeing Lu Yibei, he quickly walked up and extended his right hand.

"Young Master Lu, hello."

"I'm Tang Jianguo."
