Chapter 3: Pregnant

My Mother-in-Law Gifted Me a Building

Su Miaoke, wearing a thin blouse, walked barefoot to the window and yanked the curtains open.

Sunlight streamed in, revealing her graceful figure in full view.

"Get dressed and go wash up."

Chu Feng was stunned. He instantly felt a rush of heat to his nose and swallowed hard.

A jolt of youthful vigor shot straight to his head!

"Um... can I ask where this is?"

Chu Feng bit the tip of his tongue hard to clear his head and asked.

"Villa Number Seven, Bright Moon Mountain," Su Miaoke said.

"Holy shit! Bright Moon Mountain?" Chu Feng cursed instinctively.

He had struggled in Beihai City for five years, working in real estate, so he was extremely familiar with Bright Moon Mountain.

There were thirty-six villas on the entire mountain, and the lower the number, the more expensive the property.

Villa Number Seven on Bright Moon Mountain was worth hundreds of millions!

"Your name, occupation, and age," Su Miaoke asked Chu Feng after she had washed up.

"Huh? You mean me?" Chu Feng was taken aback.

"Is there a third person here?" Su Miaoke shot him a sidelong glance.

"My name is Chu Feng, I work in real estate, and I’m twenty-seven," Chu Feng answered honestly.

Suddenly, a phone began to ring.

Chu Feng jumped and hurriedly grabbed his phone.

"Manager Liu? Holy shit, it’s ten o’clock!"

Chu Feng was instantly thrown into a panic. He had appointments to show properties to several clients at nine.

"Don’t answer it!"

Su Miaoke glanced at Chu Feng and said coolly.

"I can’t do that! That’s my manager. If I don’t answer, my entire salary for the month will be docked!" Chu Feng immediately moved to accept the call.

But Su Miaoke’s tone turned icy. "Hang up! I don’t want to repeat myself!"

The aura of a CEO worth nearly a billion erupted from her. Her frigid tone made Chu Feng freeze, his intention to answer the call vanishing.

"If you dare answer that call, you’ll spend the rest of your life in prison!"

Chu Feng’s eyes widened. "You can’t be serious, right? It’s just a phone call! Fine, I’ll hang up."

Left with no choice, Chu Feng gritted his teeth and declined the call.

"Downstairs. We’ll have breakfast, and then you’re coming with me somewhere."

「On the first floor of the villa.」

"Where are you taking me?" Chu Feng asked, a little worried.

Su Miaoke speared a piece of medium-rare steak with her fork, slowly brought it to her lips, and chewed delicately.

"To see a doctor," Su Miaoke replied.

Across from her, Chu Feng, who had just taken a sip of milk, nearly spat it all out, choking half to death.

"Holy shit, you’re pregnant already? No way! Does that make me the sap who has to play daddy?" Chu Feng exclaimed in shock.

Su Miaoke looked up and glared at him. Her gaze was so cold that Chu Feng didn’t dare say another word.

"Enough nonsense. Either you come with me, or I send you to prison. Your choice," Su Miaoke said indifferently.

Chu Feng swallowed, his mind racing with complaints.

’This woman is ruthless! Sure, she’s gorgeous and has a great body, but her personality is terrifying!’

After breakfast, the two of them went to the garage.

All the while, Chu Feng was racking his brain, trying to remember what exactly had happened last night.

But he couldn’t recall a thing, no matter how hard he tried. He only remembered the God of Wealth telling him he had been given a method for Cultivation and achieving longevity.

He couldn’t remember a single thing after that.

"Um, Su Miaoke—oh, no, President Su. About last night... I’m sure it was all a misunderstanding."

"I’ve been thinking for ages and can’t remember anything happening between us, which means nothing did. If something really did happen, I’ll definitely take responsibility,"

Chu Feng said, on the verge of tears.

"Hah? You’ll take responsibility? By being a kept man?" Su Miaoke shot him a sidelong glance and sneered.

In truth, she wasn’t sure either. She didn’t know if what the God of Wealth had said last night was real.

That’s why she was so anxious to have Chu Feng accompany her to the hospital today.

If her terminal illness was really gone, then everything would proceed according to their agreement.

But if her illness was still there, then Chu Feng was done for!

As the president of such a massive corporation, her decisiveness was naturally beyond that of an ordinary person.

「In the underground parking garage.」

"Do you have a driver’s license?" Su Miaoke asked.

Chu Feng nodded. "Of course. I’m a veteran driver with five or six years behind the wheel."

"Drive. To the Qiankun Medical Clinic." Su Miaoke tossed a set of keys to Chu Feng.

The reason she wanted Chu Feng to be her driver was for confidentiality; she didn’t want a third party to know about this.

After all, for the CEO of such a large company, it would be extremely detrimental to the business if word got out.

"What? The Qiankun Medical Clinic?"

Chu Feng was a bit baffled when he heard the name.

The clinic was very close to where he worked.

"What? You don’t know the way?" Su Miaoke asked.

"I know the way. I just don’t get why you rich people always like going to places like this. Isn’t it obvious they’re just designed to rip you off?" Chu Feng said, completely bewildered.

But Su Miaoke replied coldly, "I told you to drive, so just drive. Why all the pointless chatter?"

Hearing that, Chu Feng decided not to argue.

If she wanted to be a sucker, what could he say?

He opened the car door, got into the driver’s seat, started the engine, and stomped on the gas.

VROOM~

The roar of the engine reeked of money.

The car slowly came to a stop in another underground parking garage.

"Wait for me right here. If I come back and you’re gone, you can wait for me in prison."

After dropping that threat, Su Miaoke left without a backward glance.

This made Chu Feng grit his teeth in anger. Being completely under someone’s thumb felt this awful!

Exiting the parking garage, Su Miaoke arrived at an extravagantly decorated medical clinic.

"Uncle Wang," Su Miaoke called out to a middle-aged man in the clinic.

The man looked to be in his fifties, with graying temples.

He wore a pair of reading glasses and was looking at a medical book.

"Miaoke, are you here to start your treatment?" the man called Uncle Wang asked.

"No, Uncle Wang. I wanted to ask you to run the tests one more time," Su Miaoke explained.

"I completely understand how you feel, but I personally handled your tests. With my many years of medical experience, there’s no way I could be mistaken."

"You need to start treatment immediately. I’ve already consulted several highly respected physicians in the field, and we should have a treatment plan ready today."

The man called Uncle Wang said, his voice full of earnest concern.

Judging by their conversation, they seemed to be old acquaintances.

"Uncle Wang, I understand what you’re saying, but I still can’t believe I have a terminal illness. I’m still young, after all. That’s why I want to get tested again," Su Miaoke said, standing firm.

"Sigh... alright, fine. I’ll give you another comprehensive examination. But you have to promise me that if there’s still a problem, you will listen to me and accept treatment. And you have to tell your parents about this."
