Soft, almost inaudible music plays in the background. Drowning it out is the clattering of cutlery and shuffling of people. All things told, there aren’t actually a whole lot of them in the food court to do so, but still, that’s enough.

To be fair, most of the sound comes from the various food stalls only recently opened for the day. There’s more than I expect considering it’s breakfast time. No, that’s not quite right. Brunch time might be a more accurate description.

It’s a little late in the morning to be having breakfast. Then again, who am I to judge? When left to my own devices, I normally wake up at eleven or later. This is far too early for me to be so awake and alert, but here I am. The same goes for Paul, who lets out a sheepish yawn as I sit down next to him at his table.Full novel: My Perfect World — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Speaking of my best friend, he’s quite dressed up. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not like his wearing a three-piece suit or anything. Still, he’s got a nice button-up shirt and pair of dress pants on. That’s leagues better than the old tees and sweats he normally wears

I don’t see the point of dressing up like that. My attire isn’t going to change anything about today, and as such I’m wearing my own usual, baggy clothes. At the very least, I had the right idea to toss some clean ones on. I’m not that gross… Well, most of the time, I’m not. I swear.

“Someone’s looking sharp.” I tease.

“Did I overdo it… I overdid it, didn’t I? I’m not sure what you’re meant to wear when to… whatever it is we are about to do.” He twitches and fidgets as he speaks.

If not for how excited about this I know him to be, I’d think he’s had one too many cups of coffee this morning. Actually, maybe that’s also the case.

“There’s no need to be so nervous, man.”

“It’s not nerves… Well, not entirely. I could hardly sleep a wink last night. I couldn’t stop thinking about today and, of course, yesterday too. Oh, I made a list!”

I look at him curiously. He pulls a piece of wrinkled paper out of his pocket. His hands shake and jitter as he places it on the table between us and smooths it out. Peering down, I scan the hastily scrawled notes.

“Huh…” Is all I say. Mostly though, that’s because I’m reading it upside down and not having much luck.

“Now, before we…” His eyes dart to our surroundings, making sure no one is nearby to overhear us. Given how empty the place is, there is, of course, no one there. “Before we, you know, I thought it best if we do some more rudimentary tests to determine the extent of the effect surrounding you.”

Oh, I know exactly what he means. I did, after all, suggest something quite special yesterday. No wonder he’s so excited. I can’t blame him. I’d be the same in his position.

“Sounds like a plan to me. What do you think we should start with?”

“So, from what you told me yesterday, I noticed that you tend to start everything with a question or request. What I’m wondering is if that’s even necessary. Could you do whatever you wanted without even saying anything?” Enjoying the story? Read on at g.com.

“That’s a valid question, but how exactly could I test that out without potentially getting slapped or worse?”

The last thing I want is someone calling the cops on me. I doubt I’d get much use of my powers from behind bars. Then again, with them the way they are, I could probably just be asked to let out, couldn’t I?

“That’s a risk you’ll have to take.” He shrugs before leaning in and whispering the next part, not wanting this to be overheard. Unlike me, he can still thoroughly embarrass himself in public. “And if you do get caught, you can always just tell them to forget the last three minutes like it didn’t happen.”

“True”, I nod along.

I guess I’m doing this then.

Turning my head on a swivel, I look around the food court. One by one, I glance from person to person.

There’s a pair of old timers, a married couple from the looks of them. They’re out, for obvious reasons. While I do like myself a milf, a gilf is a different story.

Then there’s a guy sitting alone, chowing down on some fried chicken. Weird choice for what is essentially breakfast time, if a little on the later side. Again, he’s out. That’s not how I roll.

“What’s taking you so long? Just choose someone. It’s not that hard.” Paul unhelpfully comments.

“I’m getting there.”

Even though this is but an experiment, it doesn’t mean I’m going to do it with just anyone. I have standards.

Moving on from the guy, a short distance away sits a pair of girls. From the way they talk, quite animatedly, with one another, I assume they’re close friends. The pair are a little older than Paul and me. Probably, if I had to guess, college girls. Nineteen or maybe twenty.

Despite sitting at a table in the food court, they’re not actually eating. Could they be waiting for another to join them?

Oh, that’s not the case, after all. The truth becomes apparent when they get up and head to a sushi place. They were simply deciding on what to eat. Duh.

With no better, or really any, options in sight, I make my move. Of the two of them, my attention homes in on one in particular. The main reason for which is her short skirt.

Boy, do I love myself a skirt on a girl. Mmm…

There’s just something about such clothing that really does it for me. It’s so tantalising. One small misstep, or the wrong angle, and what do I glimpse? Panties!

Of course, something of that nature has only very rarely happened to me. I can count the number of times it has on one hand, and not even using all of my fingers either. Oh, and to make matters worse, by the time I do realise it’s happening, the moment has already passed. Enjoying the story? Read on at novelping.com.

Alas, such bliss is always far too fleeting. Maybe that’s what makes it so wonderful though. It does dawn on me that with everything going on, I can peek under girls’ skirts whenever I want now. At least there’s that.

The thought brings a big wide smile to my lips as I approach the college girls. I’m only a couple of meters from them when something dawns on me. What am I actually going to do?

I didn’t think about it until this moment. Not to mention, what am I going to say if they react badly? I need to prepare something so I don’t give them a chance to slap me, or worse, kick me in the nuts.

Hopefully, I won’t need it, but nonetheless, I rehearse a safety line in my head. That way it’ll be on the tip of the tongue if this goes poorly.

Here goes nothing…

My heart thunders in my chest and my conscience eats away at me as I spring into action. Even knowing there’s a chance they might not think anything of this, I feel guilty. Understandably, my instincts scream at me. Going up to a woman and groping her is a terrible thing to do, after all. My mother raised no monster.

Or maybe she did. I do, after all, go through with it despite my inner turmoil.

The other girl, the one not wearing a skirt, approaches the sushi stall on her own. That’s when I walk up to her friend, hanging back. As she glances up at the menu on display, I stand uncomfortably close behind her.

The soft, cotton of her short skirt brushes against my fingers. She shifts slightly, and my heart lurches. I fear the worst, but after a moment of nothing happening, I let out a breath. She doesn’t react.

Of course, that could be because she didn’t feel a thing. I’m barely touching her, after all. That needs to change if I am to put anything to the test.

Once again, I push past the guilty feeling. My hand moves forward, pressing against her dress. There’s no way she doesn’t feel it this time. The palm of my hand lies flat against her tight, little ass.

The girl’s rather slender, but not in an all skin and bones kind of way. No, her butt’s firm with muscle and only a little extra padding. Still, it has that feminine shape to it that makes my boy brain go on the fritz.

Just like that, I forget all about my supposed guilt. It helps that she doesn’t react at all to my groping of her backside. No, if everything Paul and I learned yesterday is to be believed, she thinks, and believes this is all completely normal. What I’m doing isn’t hurting her, emotionally or otherwise.

Shamelessly, I let my fingers sink in. I squeeze, grope and manhandle her to my heart’s content.

There’s really no way she couldn’t notice what I’m doing. Hell, even the other people around, as few as they are, should notice something is up under normal circumstances. And yet, none of them do. The only one looking my way is Paul.
