The girl’s friend finishes ordering, and she takes her place. Even as she does, I continue to follow after her and play with her butt. Can you blame me, though? This is amazing.

My heart races, but not with fear or nerves, only excitement. I truly can do whatever the hell I want.

I let myself get carried away. My hand isn’t content with simply touching her atop her skirt. No, I slip it beneath too.Full novel: My Perfect World — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

A gasp falls from my lips as my fingers brush across bare exposed cheeks. For a second I think she’s going commando down there. What a naughty minx that would make her? But, no, not that. Something close, but not quite as exciting, is going on.

She’s wearing a thong!

My fingers trace that scrap of fabric. It’s barely more than a string. Not to mention how it’s trapped between her cheeks. Following it leads my hand further down, between her thighs.

She lets out a slight sound as my exploration reaches her crotch. A thin triangle of fabric separates me from her most intimate of areas. That doesn’t slow me down, though. I rub at it, my fingers working her oh-so-sensitive spot to great effect.

Her half-stifled moans grow more common. They interrupt her ordering of sushi, and it’s good to know she can still react this way to my touch, if not in others. It would’ve been far too weird for my liking if she didn’t.

A sharp cough draws my attention back to the table. Glancing over my shoulder, I spot Paul sitting there, staring at me. The look he gives me is sharp and impatient.

Right, I’ve gotten a bit carried away, haven’t I? This is just meant to be a quick experiment. On the plus side, it’s good to know that what I did to him last night is still in effect. He can see through the effect I have on everyone else. Hopefully that will last forever, and I won’t have to constantly re-up it.

Reluctantly, I sigh and pull my hand out from between the girl’s legs. I really could play with her all day long. If I must call it an end here, there’s one last thing I want to do.

To that end, I bend over, craning my head under her skirt. Mmm, what a sight! It’s every bit as erotic as I expect, maybe even more so. In fact, it reminds me of just how much I like myself a good upskirt.

I’m not a creep or anything. I would never try to take such a picture in real life or anything like it… Well, I wouldn’t before now, but this is different. In the past I settled for ones in porn. And like I’m learning about a lot of things, this too is better in real life.

The visual memory lingers on my thoughts as I make my way back to Paul.

“I guess it’s safe to say that worked perfectly, not that I expected otherwise.” He comments as I sit down next to him. “Still, good to be sure, and it does raise a few more questions. For instance, does it extend to non-sexual things?”

That doesn’t need to be tested. I do, after all, have a little experience with it already.

“It does. It even works over the internet.” I inform him.

“Oh, and just how did you find that out?”

Playing it up by putting on a fake act of smugness, I lean back in my chair, head held high as I say. “I might have asked a certain someone to chat with me after her stream last night.”

“Your streamer. What was her name again, Becca? Ha, you’re such a simp!” He laughs and shakes his head. “Still chatting online is one thing. What if it’s something more extreme? Just how far can you push the effect when it comes to non-sexual matters?”

I’m tempted to brag and tell him that Becca and I did more than simply chat online. That, however, was very sexual and wouldn’t be constructive to the matter at hand. It would only serve as a distraction. Of course, I’ll tell him later, though.

“Do you have something specific in mind or just spitballing?”

“It needs to be something someone would never in a million years do… Something like…” He trails off as he looks around the food court, thinking it over. Then his eyes fall on one of the food stalls and light up. “Something like asking a fast food worker to give you all the money out of their cash register.” This chapter is updated first at NovelPing.

I gasp. My mind races.

Holy shit! Why didn’t I come up with that? It’s such a good idea. And if it does work, too, it has huge implications for my future.

“Do you really think it will work?” I ask, hopeful.

“We won’t know until you try.”

I spring to my feet. Funnily enough, despite how much of a pervert I am, I’m more excited for this than molesting the girl earlier. It really is a game changer if this works. I’d never have to work an actual job; I could just get people to hand me cash whenever I need it. Hell, I wouldn’t even need to use money most of the time. They’ll just give me want I want.

Yet, as excited as I am, I take a moment to consider which stall to approach. The reason why I do so is simple. Despite being able to do whatever the hell I want, that doesn’t mean my actions aren’t without consequences.

If I choose to take money from an already struggling business, it could cause them to shut down. Doing that to a locally owned place would be horrible. A more popular, heavily franchised place, however, is a different story.

My focus settles on a certain fried chicken joint. Upon approaching the guy at the cash register gives me the usual spiel. I pay his words little attention. The moment he’s done speaking, I don’t hesitate to issue my order.

“Give me everything out of your cash register.”

My tone oozes with confidence as I do so, more sure of myself and my power than I ever have been of anything.

It’s not until the words have left my lips that I realise how they sound. God, I hope this works; otherwise he’ll think I’m robbing him.

A tense few seconds pass. Silence passes as he blinks at me, processing my words.

Is he going to call the cops on me, or will this actually work?

A bored, tired expression sits on his face. Not unsurprising given the early hour and the shit wage he’s earning here. I’d rather be anywhere else too if I were in his place. Fortunately, I’ll never have to be in his place. That’s if this works, of course. Fingers crossed.

Finally, he opens his mouth. “Will that be all today, sir?”

“Ah, yeah… That’s it…”

I let out a shaky breath. My shoulders slump. The tension fades from my body.

It actually worked…

That fact doesn’t quite feel real. Especially so as he pulls handful after handful of notes out of the register. Oddly enough, he puts them all on one of those plastic trays, in one big stack, then slides the tray toward me.

I stand there, not saying anything, just staring at the cash.

“Have a good day, sir.” The man says in his still bored tone, as if this is the most normal interaction one could have working such a job.

I walk far too stiffly back to the table. It all still feels so surreal, even with the tray of cash in my hands. Neither of us says anything; we just sit there, wide-eyed, staring at all the money.

I shrug.

“I… I…” He starts and stops. “I can’t actually believe that worked.”

“I’ll never have to work a normal job.”

“That’s if whatever is happening to you continues to happen.” He counters.

My heart drops, eyes snapping up to him. “What! Do you think it won’t?”

“Honestly.” He shrugs. “Who knows. This is all happening out of nowhere; it could all disappear just as suddenly.”

Fuck. He’s right.

I lean back in my seat and sigh. “All that means is I’ll have to make the most of it while I can. No, WE will.”

That small correction doesn’t escape his notice. My best friend beams a big, lecherous grin. Before we can experiment in that regard, however, a thought occurs to me. A dangerous one.

“Wait, does this mean I’ll have to be more careful with my wording from now on? What if I make a joke, and inadvertently make someone do something horrible?”

My mind races trying to recall everything I’ve done so far. I haven’t jokingly told someone to kill themselves or something like that, have I? God, I hope not.

I’m not the only one horrified by the prospect. Paul’s own face goes white with dread. “Oh, shit, man. That could be bad. I didn’t think about that.”

“Can we test it out in some way?” I ask.

He’s been the idea guy so far with all this, coming up with things that would’ve taken me much longer to do on my own. Sure, I wouldn’t have been completely lost without him. I’m not an idiot. It would’ve just taken me a little longer to work everything out.

“That’s simple, tell me to do something you really don’t want me to do, like slap you as hard as I can.”

Hmm…

Yeah, I really don’t want him to do that, but maybe there’s something else I can try just in case. Oh, I know.

“Strip naked and run a lap around the mall,” I tell him in no uncertain words.

Now that’s something I really don’t want to see. We may be really close friends, but we’re not that close.

His response is immediate.

“What the hell, man!” He shouts.

The outrage in his voice cuts off, giving way to surprise and then relief as he looks down at himself, still sitting in the chair.

“Huh, it didn’t work after all. That’s great! But seriously, dude. What were you going to do if you actually forced me to do that?”

“That would’ve been a you problem.”
