Athissa looked at the silent but eerie atmosphere of the entrance.

To say it was grand was beyond words… it was marvelous.

“Ugh, what a waste of money,” Athissa murmured and looked down at her soaked dress.Full novel: My Second Personality Beats Up Unfaithful Bastards — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Water kept dripping to the floor, and it looked like she could swim in it.

“Athissa!?” A voice spoke from afar, tinged with confusion and panic.

“What the hell!?”

Athissa looked up, with hair covering half of her face.

“Oh…” Athis hurriedly composed herself and curtsied.

“Master Luke, how have you been?” She asked tightly.

Luke, who was on top of the grand dual staircase, hurriedly ran down to Athissa.

“You’re soaking wet.

You’re going to get sick!” He exclaimed and hurriedly sent a link to an omega to bring him a towel.

It didn’t take long for that said omega to arrive with a freshly cleaned towel scented with florals.

“I’m fine.

You don’t have to bother.

I’m here to see my father anyway.

It won’t take long,” Athissa stepped back, indirectly rejecting Luke’s offer.

“And it’s my duty to take care of you.

If you got sick, I might hear a handful from your father, and I don’t want that to happen.”

Luke sighed and covered Athissa with a towel to dry her up.

“I’ll prepare you a clean, dry dress.

Follow me,” Luke stated, staring into Athissa’s eyes intently to ensure she got the hint that he was serious.

“Can I say no?” Athissa replied, pressing her lips together.

“No,” Luke replied, grabbed Athissa’s right hand, and pulled her towards him as he walked towards a designated room.

The omega nearby immediately cleaned the spot where the water had pooled.

“Also, don’t call me Master.

I think it’s weird,” Luke sighed in defeat.

“We’ve known each other since childhood, Athissa,” he continued.

“That doesn’t change the fact that you’re one of the alpha’s sons,” Athissa looked away and pulled back her hand.

“I can follow you without you dragging me,” she stated and placed her hand on the side.

Luke’s brows furrowed, but he didn’t say a word.

He continued walking silently until they reached their room.

It was a guest room, neat and tidy.

“Dry up.

I’ll find some clothes,” Luke said, and he was about to leave when Athissa spoke.

“Don’t bring me one of your bitch’s clothes,” Athissa remarked, knowing how Luke played around with she-wolves.

A well-known playboy.

Luke stopped in his tracks, looked back, and glared at Athissa.

“I won’t.

Don’t worry,” Luke replied before closing the door.

Athissa finally relaxed as her shoulders slumped back.

She sat on the nearby chair and dried her hair, which was soaking wet.

Athissa had no ill feelings toward Luke since he was one of his childhood friends, but she didn’t want to be around boys who thought they could get any woman they wanted because they could.

It didn’t take long before there was a knock on the door.

“Athissa, I’m back,” Luke said behind the door.

Athissa stood up and opened it swiftly.

Seeing Luke brought a bright pink dress made her frown.

“No,” Athissa said firmly.

“Huh?”

Luke scratched his head in confusion.

“This is a new dress by my mother.

She hadn’t worn this since it was too small for her figure, and she allowed you to borrow it,” he explained, thinking Athissa was thinking badly about him again.

“I don’t wear that color,” Athissa flatly replied and handed Luke the wet towel.

“I’m already dry.

Thank you for your effort, Master Luke.”

Luke shook his head.

He knew Athissa wasn’t easily swayed by him.

“Fine, I’ll just take you to where your father is,” he replied.

“Thank you,” Athissa smiled softly as they started walking.

Both of them were silent, and she thanked Luke for not asking more questions since it would only sucked more energy out of her.

However, their peace didn’t last long.

“Well, well, well.

Guess who showed up again after playing a doctor for a while?” A high-pitched voice spoke nearby.

Her voice sounded like a shrieking cat scratching the wall.

“It’s not nice to see you, Jennifer,” Athissa rolled her eyes and continued walking, planning to ignore the woman, but she persisted.

Jennifer placed herself beside Luke, putting her hands around his arm.

“Luke, I miss you, baby,” she whined and pouted like a duck.

Athissa couldn’t help but roll her eyes in annoyance.

She knew Jennifer always hated her for being close to Luke.

Basically, all the she-wolves that fancied Luke.

That was also one of the reasons why Athissa avoided him like a plague.

“Jennifer, let’s talk later.

We have an important matter to attend,” Luke muttered softly, untangling Jennifer’s hands away from him.

“But you haven’t given me attention since yesterday!” Jennifer shrieked, stamping her feet like a child.

Athissa grimaced and wanted the floor to eat her alive just to escape from there.

“I’ll excuse myself.

I don’t want to be the third wheel here,” Athissa stated, and being petty, she walked between the two and pushed them aside before walking straight.

Both were caught off guard.

Luke’s eyes widened in surprise, and he couldn’t help but laugh in amusement, while Jennifer was raging at how Athissa was disrespectful to her.

“You!” Jennifer screamed and was about to chase Athissa and fight back, but Luke stopped her tracks.

“Let me give you some attention now,” Luke whispered, leaned down, and licked Jennifer’s ears.

Jennifer blushed terribly as she clung to Luke’s body like a lizard.

“I miss you so much,” Jennifer muttered, letting herself sink into a romantic feeling with Luke, and placed her head on his chest.

However, Luke turned his head back and looked at Athissa’s figure getting further away.

Luke longed for her, but he knew he could not reach Athissa’s feelings.

“Hey!” Jennifer shouted, looking at Luke with a pout.

“Why are you looking at her and not me?” She asked, clearly annoyed.

Luke chuckled and placed a kiss on Jennifer’s enormous lips.

“Don’t use your brain to think of anything.

It’s too tiring for you, and I want you to rest,” Luke whispered softly

Luke ruffled Jennifer’s hair as they entered a guest room nearby.

“Ah~”

I tried to give everyone peace and happiness.

Unfortunately, my imagination looked at me and said, “Where’s the drama?”
