Even if his family negotiates, the clan would need to compensate him. If they don’t then he would get a good seedling.

"So, he wants me to kill the two?" Ye Yaming muttered as he repeated the instruction given by Ren. Li Shan, the leader, wanted Ye Yaming to finish the two men who had attacked him in the clan.Full novel: My Weak Bloodline Increases My Talent. — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

"This might make it difficult for me to get out within a year..." Killing the two was not a problem. In fact, he himself planned on taking revenge.

The problem, however, was his release condition. He was supposed to get out of this place after little punishment. It would have been okay if he only killed some other criminals like Bo but his clansmen? That would give another reason for Ye Zhenyu and others to target him.

To safely get out of the jail, he had to avoid showing his ruthless nature but then he would have to fight Li Shan instead.

Could he kill or defeat that guy? That guy who was the de facto ruler of the jail, could Ye Yaming beat him?

"But he’s too strong for a fight." Not at the moment. He would be beaten into a pulp if he even dared to raise his voice. Maybe his Mutated Beast Soul could do something.

"I need nearly six months of training just to reach the peak of Qi refining but I don’t have any techniques to fight either. The Ye clan fist technique would not be sufficient." He calculated and found out that a total of six months was required to reach the Qi refining peak with his nearly thirty times talent.

But that would only strengthen his body to a certain extent and increase his Qi reserves. He did not have a combat technique to use that Peak Qi refining real cultivation.

The to-be Senior brother of his had only given him a body strengthening technique which ate away his Qi instead.

Also, there was no way Li Shan would wait for that long. That man had intentionally given him a week of time.

He had another option, his mutated Beast Soul.

"Beast Soul... I am still not able to use that in a fight. The only time it comes out is when there’s another Beast Soul to devour." But the problem with that Snakey-Raven was that it was too independent.

He had not even reached Stage 2. That could be because his Beast Soul kept getting stronger with each kill, further increasing the strain on his body but still he had not yet managed to summon his Beast Soul for a fight directly.

Even the strengthening of the body needed practice which he assumed would take more than a month to get anywhere close to Li Shan’s level.

He dropped the idea. There was no way he could go against Li Shan with his strength.

"If I work under them, they will have to give me some martial arts techniques, right?"

"That should barely work or I would have to push the martial arts by myself which would increase the time by a few months." He lacked combat techniques. The times when he had killed his opponents was mainly thanks to his Beast Qi and the element of surprise.

To develop his own technique, he needed months of time yet again. The only path forward was to do as Li Shan had said.

"Would I still be able to cultivate after getting out?" The thought that the clan elders, especially Ye Zhenyu, would create trouble for his actions in jail came to his mind but he dismissed it.

...

"It’s surprisingly huge." Ye Yaming was out, touring the jail. The insides of the jail looked to be cut out from a mountain. There were many rocks, giant rocks around.

According to the instructions given by Ren, he needed to locate the two guys first and deal with them thoroughly without involving anyone else.

Since the two were warriors from the Ye clan, they never separated, fearing that the criminals might gang up on them.

They had to be wary of the other criminals while spending their days in jail.

Going by Ren’s instructions, he could not even get help from other criminals in the jail. He had to deal with them on his own.

Ren had given him the general direction and Ye Yaming was looking around for those two.

While on the way, he kept noting the location of other criminals, their accommodations, and their friends.

’Maybe the rumours about me being recruited by Li Shan have been spread already.’ Most of the people could be seen talking while glancing at him.

Maybe it was because he stood out. He was the only one in the jail who seemed so young. There were some teens around but none under ten years old.

’There they are!’ Finally, he spotted the two men. They were talking about something but when he stared at them, they glanced back.

He slowly turned his head away, not reacting to their glances. They seemed to have recognised him.

"You are from the Demonic factions?" He lightly kicked a man who was sleeping on the floor and asked.

The man was in late 50s and looked weak but the injury marks on his body and face made it obvious that he had been through some major fights.

He glanced at Ye Yaming and slowly looked at him from head to toe. ’A kid? Or is it some weird Beast Soul of another demonic faction member?

"You are?" The man asked, confused as to why someone looking so young and frail was acting so cocky in the jail.

"Yaming, call me Yaming." He answered. He had little interest in speaking with that man until he saw the traces of fights on his body.

Since he had a lack of combat techniques, he could ask someone who seemed experienced to teach him. There was no loss in asking for favours.

"You want me to teach you? Aren’t you under Li Shan?" The man seemed to have heard the rumours and it was not difficult to connect the rumours of a young boy to him. He was the only young guy around.

"Can you teach me the technique or not?" He stared at the old man in his eyes and asked.

He could make do without combat techniques but it was always better to have a few of them since he did not need much time to learn them, anyway.
