He Mu ran out of her room at the sound and saw He Xiaosa in the living room looking as if he had seen a ghost, trembling as he pointed at a woman across from him. She appeared to be in her thirties, with firm, bouncy skin and an enviable figure, but she was wearing Zhao Meimei’s floral dress.

He Mu recognized her at a glance and called out, “Grandma?”

As He Mu emerged, both Zhao Meimei and He Xiaosa turned to look at her.Full novel: Myriad Realms Travel Agency The True Daughter Ascends with the Nation — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

He Mu’s original height was nearly 160 cm, but now she was close to 170 cm, with a curvaceous figure, flawless fair skin, and a beauty that surpassed even Xi Shi.

He Xiaosa nearly blacked out again. “I can’t take this anymore. Staying up late must have ruined my health. I’m hallucinating.”

Zhao Meimei blinked. “Mu Mu?”

He Mu nodded and walked closer to Zhao Meimei. “Grandma, it’s me.”

Zhao Meimei was in an excellent mood today, spinning around proudly. “Little Mu, your grandma feels like she’s been reborn!”

He Xiaosa had always been an atheist, but after experiencing yesterday’s resurrection and today’s miraculous transformation, his worldview was beginning to crumble.

He remembered what He Mu had said yesterday—that she had a way to save Grandma.

And she had done it.

He Xiaosa’s legs went weak, and he collapsed onto the sofa, asking He Mu, “How on earth did you do it? Is the time-space travel with tourists real?”

His voice grew quieter as he spoke, and he laughed self-deprecatingly. “My mom is alive again, and I’m still asking if it’s real.”

While Zhao Meimei was thrilled to be young and beautiful again, she couldn’t help but feel a hint of worry. She looked at He Mu and asked, “Little Mu, what exactly is going on?”

He Mu had no intention of hiding the truth, so she explained everything in detail—the system, the one-month lifespan, and the Ginseng Fruit.

Zhao Meimei exclaimed in surprise, “It’s actually an Immortal Fruit!”

He Xiaosa couldn’t help but feel a sense of longing. Lifespan, Immortal Fruit—these were rare and extraordinary opportunities!

His gaze toward He Mu grew intense as he said, “This was only your first time leading a time-space travel tour. So, the second and third times will also have rewards, right?”

He Mu nodded. She knew what He Xiaosa was thinking and said, “The lifespan is for Grandma. As for the Ginseng Fruit, it depends on your performance.”

He Xiaosa was immediately tempted and thumped his chest in assurance. “Don’t worry, I’ll definitely help you find tourists!”

What foreign tours? They’re nothing compared to this—this is time-space travel! Once we put up the sign, we won’t have to worry about customers.

He Mu shook her head. “You don’t need to worry about finding tourists. I want you to protect Grandma.”

Grandma’s resurrection was likely impossible to keep secret. She was afraid others might target Grandma, treating her like an alien to dissect and study.

He Xiaosa glanced at his rejuvenated mother and felt a sense of urgency.

Bang bang—

Someone knocked on the door downstairs, and everyone tensed up immediately.

He Xiaosa stood up. “I’ll go down and see what’s going on.”

With his mother in this state and his niece in another, as the man of the house, he felt he should handle this personally.

He Xiaosa went downstairs, and He Mu opened the first-floor surveillance feed on her phone.

There were several unfamiliar men.

“Hello, sir. We’re doctors from the First Affiliated Hospital of the Medical University. We’re here for a follow-up visit. May I ask where Ms. Zhao Meimei is?”

Lin Yi had been repeatedly instructed by the old man early in the morning to bring people here for this visit. Before knocking, he had already conducted some investigations in the area.

Lin Yi was young, handsome, and had a sweet tongue. The elderly women on the street were more than happy to chat with him, and he soon learned that Zhao Meimei had been discharged from the hospital and returned home.

They had all seen Zhao Meimei walk out of the car on her own.

A death certificate had become a slap in the face of their hospital.

He Xiaosa immediately grew impatient and shooed them away. “What kind of hospital is this? What kind of lousy doctors are you? I’ll never trust you quacks again. A perfectly healthy person, and you declared her dead! Go! Get out of here right now!”

After slamming the door shut, He Xiaosa hurried upstairs.

“Do the people from the hospital have noses like dogs? How did they catch wind of this so quickly?”

He Xiaosa glanced at He Mu. “What do we do now?”

He Mu checked the time on his phone and said, “No rush. Someone else will be here soon.”

Half an hour later, a Rolls-Royce pulled up in front of the house, and Su Mu stepped out.

Lin Yi was still lurking nearby with his people. As soon as he saw his childhood friend Su Mu, he approached him. “Su Mu, you’re not playing fair.”

Su Mu understood the situation as soon as he saw Lin Yi and smiled. “Don’t be so distant. If I weren’t fair, would I have gone to see Uncle Lin yesterday?”

Suddenly, Lin Yi frowned. He circled Su Mu, then threw a punch at his chest, only to recoil in pain as if he had struck an impenetrable wall.

Lin Yi cursed under his breath. “Damn! How did your body get so strong? Broad shoulders, narrow waist, tight muscles—you look like a soldier just back from duty!”

Su Mu smirked. “This is my great fortune. You can’t be jealous.”

Su Miaomiao stepped out of the back seat. She wore a flowing light purple dress, her high ponytail cascading down to her lower back. Her skin was fair and delicate, and even without makeup, she was breathtakingly beautiful.

Lin Yi stared, momentarily stunned, until his vision went dark—Su Mu had covered his eyes. “Don’t leer at my sister with those creepy eyes of yours!”

Lin Yi pushed Su Mu’s hand away. “Your sister? A sworn sister?”

“Biological sister. Su Miaomiao.”

“…”

The door swung open, and He Mu stepped out. All eyes immediately turned to him.

He Mu paused at the doorway and smiled faintly. “Everyone, please come in for some tea.”

“Mu Mu!”

Su Miaomiao immediately rushed toward He Mu.

Su Mu and Lin Yi exchanged a glance. Su Mu tilted his head, signaling for Lin Yi to follow them inside.

In the reception room on the first floor, He Xiaosa had already tidied up and brewed some aged white tea.

In the past, He Xiaosa would have been the one sitting in the host’s seat, chatting and laughing with guests. This time, however, the roles had changed. He stood behind He Mu, both to support him as an assistant and because he was curious about what would happen next.

He Mu took the main seat, with the Su siblings on his right and Lin Yi, along with the hospital staff, on his left.

He Mu got straight to the point. “Yesterday, I unintentionally obtained a Dimensional Travel System that allows people to travel through time and space to different dimensions. Besides experiencing time travel, travelers may even gain unexpected rewards.”

“Mr. Su and Miaomiao were the first tourists in yesterday’s travel group. Their transformations are proof enough that what I say is true.”

Under any other circumstances, if someone claimed they could take people through time travel, Lin Yi would never have believed it—just like yesterday.

The incident of He Mu setting up a stall at the entrance of First Hospital to attract travelers had spread across several group chats within the hospital. Lin Yi also saw the news. Like others, he didn’t take it seriously, treating it as a joke and even remarking, “What kind of scammer doesn’t exist these days?”

However.

Lin Yi glanced at the Su siblings and then recalled the patient Zhao Meimei, who had returned from the dead. His chest ached with regret.

Once, a tremendous opportunity had been right before him, but he hadn’t cherished it!
