The Fierce Ghost controlled by Zhou Zheng was a Ghost Infant.
Yang Jian hadn't noticed before, but looking at the wounds on the stomachs of the two Female Corpses in the hall now, they were clearly identical to the wounds on Zhou Zheng after his Ghost Revival.
"So, one of the Fierce Ghosts lingering in this Hospital before was the Ghost Infant? Judging by the way the Female Corpses died and the traces at the scene, it seems the Ghost Infant crawled out after cutting open their stomachs from the inside..."
Yang Jian frowned; judging by the traces at the scene, his judgment should be correct.
"But if that's the case, there's a question: how did the Ghost Infant get inside the stomachs of these two Female Corpses?" Yang Jian couldn't quite figure it out.
But this wasn't important; in Supernatural Events, anything could happen, and the most unbelievable things became normal in the face of Supernatural Power.
"After so much Time, the Ghost Infant must be more than just what it was initially; I wonder how much its Terror Level has increased."
Yang Jian wasn't very clear about the Ghost Infant's abilities, only knowing that it could form Ghost Slave marks inside Ordinary Persons.
And people who had the Ghost Slave mark would be killed by it; Yang Jian's classmate Wang Shanshan had once had a Ghost Slave mark planted inside her by the Ghost Infant.
If Yang Jian hadn't later used his Ghost Eye's Ghost Slave mark to cover up and "replace" the Ghost Infant's mark, Wang Shanshan would have died long ago.
Even so, Wang Shanshan had been hunted by the Ghost Infant many times, and each time she only managed to survive with Yang Jian's help.
"The Ghost Infant seems to have undergone some unknown change. Previously, its method of killing was direct physical attack, but now it drills into the human body in an incomprehensible way and then crawls out after cutting open the stomach."
"It's just that the Handprint on the ground seems too small; it doesn't match the growth pattern of the Ghost Infant." Yang Jian knew that the Ghost Infant could grow.
The Ghost Infant that first crawled out of Zhou Zheng's stomach was only the size of a normal infant, but the Ghost Infant encountered later at Wang Shanshan's house had grown to the size of a Child.
So Yang Jian guessed that the Ghost Infant's Body could also grow like a human infant's, only its growth cycle would be relatively short.
The appearance of the Female Corpse before him did indeed look like the birth of a Ghost Infant, but the Handprint on the First Floor Hall floor didn't look like that initial Ghost Infant.
"Could there be more than one Ghost Infant? Or is the Fierce Ghost in this Hospital part of the Ghost Infant's Puzzle Piece, which is why they are so similar?!" Yang Jian looked at the Stairs corner in the First Floor Hall, his brow furrowing even deeper.
Tap, tap!
Yang Jian stepped forward and walked toward the Stairs.
Regardless, he had to go see if the Fierce Ghost in this Hospital was indeed the Ghost Infant that originally escaped from Zhou Zheng's body.
If it was, Yang Jian planned to resolve it here and seal the entity directly, preventing the Ghost Infant from causing trouble in Dachang City in the future.
After all, in Yang Jian's mind, he had long regarded this small patch of Dachang City as his own territory!
There was an Elevator in the Hospital, but Yang Jian still chose to take the Stairs. Not only because the Handprint was extending in that direction.
After all, compared to the Elevator, taking the Stairs would be relatively Safer, and it was easier to deal with sudden emergencies on the Stairs than in the Elevator.
This Hospital had three buildings; the one Yang Jian was in was the main building, totaling five floors.
The First Floor Hall of the main Hospital building contained the registration office and pharmacy, the Second Floor had consultation rooms, the Third Floor had operating rooms and examination rooms, the Fourth Floor had doctors' offices and lounges, and the Fifth Floor was the director's office.
Of course, besides these five floors above ground, there were two floors underground. The basement level was the Parking Lot, and the second basement level was the morgue, the place where the Hospital stored Corpses!
Ps: This Hospital is not the Hospital where the Starving Ghost outbreak occurred in the Original Work; please do not make assumptions; everything is subject to the explanation of the most humble Mo Yi Hei.
The blood-stained Handprint followed the Stairs upwards; the row of blood-red infant handprints on the Stairs was extremely conspicuous, giving a Terrifying sense of déjà vu.
There was no fear on Yang Jian's face; having been baptized by several Supernatural Events had made him immune to this. He could remain expressionless even in bloodier and more Terrifying Scenes.
After examining the Handprints, Yang Jian continued up the Stairs; he needed to find the Source of these blood handprints and then imprison the entity!
Tap, tap, tap...
Yang Jian reached the Hospital's Second Floor but did not stop or investigate the Second Floor, because the blood-red Handprints were heading directly to the Third Floor and showed no signs of coming back down.
Following the trail of the Handprints, Yang Jian went up to the Third Floor.
Upon reaching the Third Floor, the Ghost Eye beneath Yang Jian's skin squirmed restlessly. On his forehead, a scarlet Ghost Eye rotated once, then looked straight in one direction.
The direction the Ghost Eye was looking was the end of the Third Floor Corridor!
"The Ghost... is on the Third Floor?" Yang Jian became vigilant, and the Headless Ghost Shadow reflected behind him appeared in front of his body, ready to attack at any moment.
The direction the blood-red infant handprints Extended led to the other end of the Hospital's Third Floor Corridor!
A red Ghost Domain Light lit up on Yang Jian's body, and the Ghost Domain spread toward the other end of the Third Floor Corridor, attempting to envelop the entire floor.
To Yang Jian's surprise, the red Ghost Domain instantly covered the entire Third Floor moments after it began to Extend, pulling everything around into the Ghost Domain.
"Look quickly, a strange red light suddenly appeared on the Third Floor of the Hospital, and even the walls have been stained red!"
Outside the Hospital, a sharp-eyed Police Officer was the first to notice this Eerie sight, pointing at the Hospital and speaking softly to the others.
"It really is. I wonder what exactly happened inside the Hospital. Does anyone here know the situation?" a young Police Officer asked the others beside him.
"I don't know either, only that it seems many people died!" someone replied quietly.
"Many people died? Was it a perverted serial killer?"
Discussions erupted everywhere; even though they were all police personnel, their desire to gossip was no less than anyone else's. For a moment, all sorts of things were being said.
..........
On the Third Floor of the Hospital, Yang Jian's expression had become exceptionally grim.
Although the Ghost Domain successfully enveloped the Third Floor, a blank area appeared within his Ghost Domain—a place his Ghost Domain could not reach.
"The end of the Third Floor Corridor, there is a huge problem there! Even the Ghost Eye's Ghost Domain cannot successfully cover it; it is the only area on the entire Third Floor that the Ghost Domain cannot probe."
Yang Jian's eyelids twitched, and with an exceptionally solemn expression, he walked toward the other end of the Third Floor Corridor, intending to investigate personally.
In front of him, the Headless Ghost Shadow had already stood up, prepared to deal with the danger that could arrive at any moment!
