Dachang City, also known as Hongchang, Yuzhang, Hongdu, and others, is a city with a very long history and culture. During its most prosperous period, it was even called the Southern Capital, signifying the capital city of the South!

The bright moon shone high, and the night wind blew gently………

Around three in the morning, Dachang City welcomed an uninvited guest.Full novel: Mysterious Revival: Strongest Boss — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

A strange Black Mist drifted towards Dachang City from the direction of Da Han City. Under the moonlight, the mist surged, and a vague, illusory Shadowy Figure could faintly be seen emerging within the Black Mist.

"We have arrived at Dachang City!"

Su Mu Bai's speed of movement was very fast. His Ghost Domain spread out in a straight line, and each Teleportation covered several miles. In the time it took to drink a cup of tea, he had crossed the entirety of Da Han City and arrived in the jurisdiction of Dachang City.

"Beneath the Hongfa Temple in Dachang City, there seems to be a Coffin Nail. I wonder if taking that nail will result in an attack from a Fierce Ghost."

Su Mu Bai pondered, feeling that the Terror Level of the opponent was high enough to make one doubt life itself, far beyond what he could contend with at the moment.

His only advantage was that Su Mu Bai was also a ghost and did not need to worry about death, but he couldn't be one hundred percent certain that his consciousness would definitely not disappear, so he didn't want to gamble on things that carried too much risk.

As for pulling out the Coffin Nail and causing the Terrifying Ghost sealed beneath it to escape, Su Mu Bai hadn't considered that at all.

Perhaps that ghost would kill many people, but what did that have to do with him, Su Mu Bai?

Even Su Mu Bai himself hadn't realized that after transmigrating into a Fierce Ghost, he had become indifferent, subtly no longer caring about the lives and deaths of Ordinary Persons.

For example, Zhao Fan at the beginning, and the consequences brought about by the Invasion of the Ghost Post Office.

In fact, Su Mu Bai knew very well that if he had truly succeeded in invading the Ghost Post Office, it would have caused the Post Office to conduct a reckoning, and all Messengers might have died because of him!

Even so, Su Mu Bai still chose to do it!

………………

Dachang City.

In a single-family apartment complex, in a certain room on the Second Floor, lived a Male and a Woman.

The handsome young Man lay on the bed facing the ceiling, spread out in a large character shape, forcefully occupying almost the entire bed.

Next to him, a beautiful, alluring Woman in pajamas was pitifully curled up, like a maidservant in a landlord's house.

The night was deep, and both the Man and the Woman were already fast asleep.

The room with the lights off appeared somewhat Dim, with only the soft moonlight shining in through the window, adding a bit of light and illuminating the originally Dim room slightly more.

"Hiss………"

A strange scene occurred.

The head of the bed where the two lay gradually grew Dimmer, and on the Wall behind them, something was vaguely writhing in the darkness.

In the faint light, a pitch-black shadow could be seen standing there eerily.

Logically speaking, since the Man and the Woman were both sleeping on the bed, a shadow should not have been able to appear in that direction.

Yet, that was precisely how Eerie it was. This shadow stood straight up like a person and was slowly moving.

If one looked closely at this shadow, they would discover that this shadow... had no Head!

The top of the shadow's neck was empty, only showing the bright Wall. The shadow's head seemed to have been brutally chopped off by something; it simply did not exist.

This headless shadow was not an ordinary reflection but a ghost, a Ghost Shadow without a Head!

As Time passed second by second, the Headless Ghost Shadow slowly moved along the Wall, descended the Stairs, then moved along the Living Room towards the Door, seemingly wanting to leave this place.

But it Failed!

In the slightly Dim environment, the black Ghost Shadow was stretched very long, almost becoming a thin line.

And the Headless Ghost Shadow's form gradually distorted. Before it could even walk out the Door, it was stretched beyond recognition, leaving only a long black shadow on the floor………

It seemed an invisible force was affecting it, preventing it from leaving smoothly, or perhaps preventing it from moving too far away from someone on that bed.

The Headless Ghost Shadow tried several times in different directions, but ultimately it Failed. It could not move too far from the bed on the Second Floor, or rather, it could not move too far from the person on that bed.

After a while, the Headless Ghost Shadow slowly retreated and returned to stand by the head of the bed, casting its reflection on the Wall behind the headboard.

Time passes second by second. The motionless Headless Ghost Shadow began to move again. It slowly extended its hand towards the sleeping Woman beside it.

However, just as its hand was halfway extended, it suddenly froze.

"Damn it!"

At some unknown point, the Man who had been sound asleep suddenly opened his eyes and looked at the tall, thin Headless Ghost Shadow reflected on the Wall.

The next moment.

Red light abruptly lit up on the Headless Ghost Shadow. Several Eerie eyes opened in multiple places on its body, as if they were embedded in it.

The eyes were scarlet, totaling five!

The scarlet Ghost Domain Light instantly enveloped the entire room. The five Eerie eyes acted like five nails, directly pinning the Headless Ghost Shadow to the ground, turning it into an ordinary shadow.

"Damn it, if I'm not paying attention, this Headless Ghost Shadow will restlessly cause trouble, won't it?" Yang Jian sat up from the bed, his sleepiness completely gone.

"Following the method provided by the Human Skin Paper, I controlled a second ghost. I thought I wouldn't have to worry about my own Condition for the time being, but now it seems Ghost Revival still exists; it has only been delayed."

"Previously, there was only the Ghost Eye inside my body. Now there is an additional Headless Ghost Shadow. Although this can temporarily balance the two and delay the time for revival, if it truly spirals out of control, it will be even more Dangerous!"

Yang Jian frowned deeply, contemplating a solution in his mind.

Although he knew the Plan proposed by the Human Skin Paper to control a second ghost likely contained a huge trap, given the situation back then, there was no better way to handle it.

"The Fierce Ghost in that Coffin in Huanggang Village is truly too terrifying... a Ghost Domain that cannot be escaped... a Fierce Ghost that cannot be contained... a Killing Rule that means certain death if Being Alone..."

"This is simply the nightmare of a Ghost Controller. If I hadn't controlled the Headless Ghost Shadow back then, I might be dead now!"

Even recalling it now, Yang Jian felt the danger of the Huanggang Village incident was appalling; that rule about the ghost being unable to be contained was utterly unsolvable.

Even in the end, Yang Jian and the others did not succeed in containing the Fierce Ghost that emerged from the Ghost Coffin; instead, they devised a way to make that Fierce Ghost return to the Coffin so they could survive.

Otherwise, if Time dragged on, even if the Ghost Controllers had the numerical advantage, they would still be dragged to death there, because ghosts do not die and do not tire.

And once a Ghost Controller overuses their Supernatural Power, they face the danger of Ghost Revival!

"Ying………"

"What's wrong?" Jiang Yan, woken up by Yang Jian's movement, asked sleepily, inadvertently pulling her sleepwear down a bit, revealing a patch of snow-white skin to Yang Jian's eyes.

After thinking about it, the Timeline was set after Yang Jian experienced the Huanggang Village incident. Currently, Yang Jian controls the Headless Ghost Shadow, but he is not in a Crash State. The Crash State only occurred when he hanged himself while dealing with the Starving Ghost!!!
