Luke’s eyes widened; he couldn’t believe what he had just heard, a world wide announcement?

That could not even happen in his wildest of imaginations but it really did, he really was the first person in the whole of mythos to reach level 10, Luke now understood why he had been given another class slot, it was a reward the game gave to the first player to reach level 10, there was also a reward for the first player to reach level 100 and the first to unlock a class.
Luke wondered what would be going on, on the world wide forum currently, the type of discussions they would be having about him, he was eager to check it, but his thoughts were soon intruded by the overlapping noises.
He hadn’t realized this, but he had reached the entrance of the chasm, he was being lifted up through a wooden makeshift stretcher being pulled by ropes fastened to its side upwards. The hole seemed to have widened, it was probably why a broad shouldered man like Crest could fit in it any way.
A few flakes drifted lazily, turning in slow spirals and Landing directly on his face, Luke’s new set of green eyes reflected the sky, its slightly blurred vision gazed at it, the sky was filled with thick grey clouds that looked like they would let out an outburst any time soon.
Soon he was finally lifted up and kept on the snowy ground, Luke tilted his head to the side a little and finally found the main source of the noise, a handful of the guild members were gathered inside a huge tent that was mostly made up of animal hide.
Inside were various other unconscious or severely injured people just like he was, there were about nine of them.
Luke was approached by two of the guild members, one he recognized as one of the mages he had seen speak to Crest earlier while he didn’t know the other one. They lifted the wooden stretcher he laid on and pulled him into the tent, where a healer was repairing and tending to their wounds.
Luke closed his eyes and went to sleep, he was still spent and weak.

Luke woke up in a room, he sat up, slowly adjusting to the room he was placed in, he was dressed in a white robe, his gaze swept across the room, he was resting on a bed, the floor of the room was sturdy and made of wood.
Placed on a table not so far from himself was a lamp, and there were no windows, Luke moved his body and was surprised that the pain was completely gone, leaving absolutely no traces. It was almost like it never happened. However there were still bandages tied across his arms and legs.
He also got a close look at his new skin, it was slightly tonal than his previous one and his height had changed along with his hair too, it felt strange.
He spoke.
"I am Chris?" His voice sounded hoarse and unrecognized.
’So I’m really someone else.’ Luke thought to himself as he took a look at his fingers, from the looks of it, the form of Chris seems like the exact same age as he was or slightly older by two years.
"Codex." Luke muttered as a familiar screen appeared before him, he wanted to see what people were saying about him, he felt a bit nervous then scrolled downwards to the forum section and tapped on it.
Just as Luke had thought, the most trending thread was the topic on the Undefeated one and his mysterious rise to level 10.

Luke read further through the forum, there were posts praising him, some shocked and there were also trolls, as Luke continued scrolling he realized most of the posts were hostile and people didn’t really like the idea of someone reaching level 10 so fast.
It made sense, since they’ve all been given a clean slate after all, no one would be happy if someone had already begun surpassing them so fast.
Luke closed off the forum and a few moments later someone entered.
