E-rank ninjutsu, “Poison Detection”—detects toxicity in a creature or an object.
The casting range is…
“Near.”
“Near” is the casting range defined by ninjutsu terminology.
0 to 5 meters is “Near,” 5 to 10 meters is “Medium,” and over 10 meters is “Far.”
Under Danzo’s current strength, the E-rank ninjutsu “Poison Detection” can only indicate whether something is poisonous.
As Danzo’s strength and knowledge base increase, this ninjutsu will eventually be able to identify the type and concentration of the toxin.
The attribute of this ninjutsu is…
“Yin”!
Just like the shadow secret techniques of the Nara clan or the spiritual secret techniques of the Yamanaka clan, it is created through the “Yin” attribute.
“There are always scoundrels trying to harm the handsome me…
I’m so handsome; if I were murdered by someone, wouldn’t it be a great loss for the ninja world?” Danzo said his thoughts out loud, completely devoid of shame.
Sarutobi Hiruzen: “…”
Akimichi Torifu: “…”
Think about it…
having transmigrated into the Naruto world as the most high-profile—or rather, the most hated—villain, wouldn’t many people be sharpening their knives, thinking of taking him out?
Therefore, in order to avoid being set up, it was necessary to have some wits and life-saving methods.
“Poison Detection” was a ninjutsu Danzo used specifically to prevent himself from being poisoned by others.
“A genius.
Danzo, you really are a genius,” Sarutobi Hiruzen exclaimed.
He widened his eyes and looked at Danzo in disbelief, unsure whether that statement was a compliment or irony.
“Even my father…
no, even Lord Hokage probably doesn’t know such a peculiar ninjutsu.”
Even for Sarutobi Sasuke, Senju Hashirama, or even Senju Tobirama, they did not know Danzo’s “Poison Detection.” Or rather, no one had thought of inventing a ninjutsu specifically for identifying toxins.
“Wait…
Danzo.” Sarutobi Hiruzen’s curiosity was piqued.
“How does this ninjutsu work?
Why can it identify toxins?”
In other words, does this ninjutsu possess intelligence?
In the future, the reason Sarutobi Hiruzen would earn the title of “Professor” was inseparable from his curiosity.
However, Danzo simply gave Sarutobi Hiruzen a dry look, followed by a series of counter-questions.
“Why can D-rank sealing jutsu only seal ninja tools and objects into scrolls, but not living people or small animals?
So…
how does that ninjutsu work?
Why can that D-rank sealing jutsu distinguish between the existences of ‘ninja tools’ and ‘people’?”
“This…” Danzo’s sharp counter-questions left Sarutobi Hiruzen stunned.
Just like why an apple is round, it was an answer without a solution.
It just is that way, and only that way.
“Everything is the will of the great universe…” Danzo slowly picked up his chopsticks, providing an answer for this insoluble mystery.
Many ninjutsu mysteriously distinguish targets and objects.
Only heaven knows why they have such effects.
It’s just like the E-rank Transformation Jutsu.
As long as you form the seals, mobilize chakra, and think hard about it, you can become the target’s likeness.
How does this kind of “thought becomes reality” ninjutsu actually operate?
Danzo didn’t know, nor was he interested in knowing.
He believed in pragmatism.
“I don’t care about a hundred thousand ‘whys’…” Danzo began unceremoniously grabbing food.
Having confirmed the cuisine on the table contained no toxins, he began to feast.
Meanwhile, the way Sarutobi Hiruzen and Akimichi Torifu looked at him…
they felt Danzo was becoming increasingly incredible.
