A day passed quietly, and Naruto was about to burst with affection for Sora, the younger brother who had suddenly appeared.

He rummaged through his drawers and shoved all his treasured ‘babies’ toward Sora, wanting to see more smiles on his little brother’s face.

Watching Naruto act this way, a wave of warmth washed over Sora’s heart—he could feel Naruto’s affection for him, a feeling so pure and sincere.Full novel: Naruto: Hanabi looks at me a little weird — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

He silently watched Naruto, but his mind was calculating something: this silly brother’s eating habits were far too irregular.

Although he knew Naruto would eventually grow to be one meter eighty tall, he looked small and skinny now.

If he kept eating so haphazardly, Sora might even be taller than him by the time he graduated.

The moment he imagined that scene, Sora couldn’t help but curve his lips; he had to help adjust his diet.

If he stayed short like in the original script, that wouldn’t be good.

Just as Sora was lost in thought, Naruto suddenly ran up to him, exclaiming loudly with an excited face: “Little Sora!

Let’s go out shopping!

Tell me anything you want!

Grandpa Hokage gave us a lot of money last time; it’s enough for us to buy lots and lots of things!” Sora snapped back to attention, looking at Naruto’s cheerful appearance, and replied gently, “Okay.

I want to buy some clothes, some daily necessities, and some sweets.

Brother Naruto, you should buy something for yourself too; don’t just think about me.” Hearing Sora’s words, a warm current instantly filled Naruto’s heart, and his eyes felt a little hot.

Little Sora actually cared about him!

Was this what family felt like?

It was wonderful.

He thought silently, Sora just said he wanted sweets, so I must buy them!

A whole pile!

Enough for Little Sora to eat to his heart’s content!

In an instant, Naruto’s fighting spirit flared up.

Once outside, he grabbed Sora’s hand and sprinted toward the commercial street.

In the past, the indifferent and rejecting gazes of the villagers along the streets would stab him like needles, causing him great discomfort.

But this time, with Sora by his side, Naruto completely cast those unfriendly looks to the heavens, his mind filled only with thoughts of buying delicious and fun things for his little brother.

Sora looked somewhat surprised at the hand Naruto was gripping tightly.

This silly brother looked quite small, but he had quite a bit of strength; Sora couldn’t pull his hand away for a moment.

After running for an unknown amount of time, Naruto suddenly stopped, spun around abruptly, and looked toward a storefront on the side of the street.

Sora looked curiously in the direction he was looking; it turned out to be the famous Ichiraku Ramen Shop.

Naruto excitedly pointed at the storefront, his voice trembling slightly, “Little Sora, the ramen at this ramen shop is super delicious!

Uncle Teuchi is also a very nice person.

I often come here to eat.

Today, I’ll take you to try it!” Sora smiled and nodded upon hearing that.

He had been curious about the taste of Ichiraku Ramen from outside the screen for a long time.

Now that he had arrived in Konoha Village, he naturally had to taste it properly.

Seeing Sora agree, Naruto impatiently pulled his hand and walked into the shop, shouting loudly as he went in, “Uncle Teuchi!

Please bring me two bowls of Tonkotsu Ramen!

I brought family!” After having family, Uncle Teuchi was one of the people Naruto most wanted to share this joy with.

Uncle Teuchi had always been very gentle to him.

Every time Naruto came to eat ramen, Uncle Teuchi would secretly add extra noodles or extra meat for him.

One rainy day, he rushed out of the house and forgot his money, so he could only hide on the side, secretly watching others eat ramen.

Uncle Teuchi saw this, beckoned him over, let him take shelter from the rain in the shop, wipe his soaked hair, and even treated him to a steaming bowl of ramen for free.

He kept that warmth in his heart.

Teuchi, who was busy kneading dough in the kitchen, paused abruptly when he heard Naruto’s voice.

He wiped his hands in surprise and hurried out of the kitchen.

When he saw Sora standing next to Naruto, Teuchi first froze for a moment, then a kind smile appeared on his face.

He didn’t ask any more questions.

Since this little fellow was Naruto’s brother, he absolutely had to use all his strength to make the most delicious ramen and treat these two children well.

On the other side, Naruto pulled Sora to sit in a corner, and his chatterbox opened immediately, endlessly describing all the delicious things at Ichiraku Ramen Shop to Sora.

As Naruto spoke, he couldn’t help but swallow his saliva, as if he could already smell the aroma of the ramen.

Sora sat beside him, listening quietly, occasionally responding with a brief word or two, spending most of the time being an attentive listener.

Even so, Naruto felt completely satisfied.

Before this, very few people were willing to listen to him talk so patiently.

But Little Sora was not only willing to listen, but he listened very seriously, looking well-behaved and gentle, which made Naruto speak more and more excitedly.

Just as Naruto was speaking enthusiastically, a gentle voice came, “Here, you two, have some water first~ The noodles will be ready soon.” Sora and Naruto looked up at the same time and saw a young girl wearing a clean apron walking over with two cups of warm water, gently placing the cups on the table in front of them.

Her eyes curved into crescents; she was Ayame, Teuchi’s daughter, who looked to be only about ten years old now.

Ayame really liked the child Naruto.

Although he usually seemed a bit reckless, he was exceptionally simple and kind-hearted inside.

Now, seeing a red-haired little boy with Naruto, who looked delicate and cute, quiet and not saying much, that unique temperament made people unable to help but feel fondness for him.

Sora looked at Ayame, a polite smile appearing on his face, and said softly, “Thank you, Big Sister~” Hearing that soft and polite voice, Ayame’s eyes immediately lit up, and the smile on her face became even brighter.

She stood still beside the two of them, watching Sora sip his water, and asked with a gentle smile, “My name is Ayame.

You can just call me Big Sister Ayame.

Oh right, little brother, what is your name?” “Big Sister Ayame, my name is Uzumaki Sora.

You can just call me Sora or Little Sora,” Sora put down his water cup and politely replied again.

Learning Sora’s name and hearing him address her as ‘Big Sister Ayame’ obediently, Ayame nodded happily, liking this sensible little fellow more and more.

Although her heart was full of joy, Ayame did not forget the shop’s business.

She smiled and said, “Please wait a moment, the ramen will be ready soon,” before turning to help in the back kitchen.

Not long after, Ayame came over carrying two large bowls of steaming ramen and placed them steadily on the table in front of Naruto and Sora.

The two looked down.

The ramen in the bowls was piled high, topped with thick slices of meat, a whole soft-boiled egg, and fresh vegetables.

The portion size was clearly much larger than a normal serving.

Naruto looked at the two large bowls of ramen before him and looked up at Teuchi and Ayame in confusion, “Uncle Teuchi, Big Sister Ayame, is the portion wrong?

Why is it so much more than usual?” When Ayame heard Naruto’s question, she smiled and shook her head, saying, “It’s not wrong~ Dad specifically made this for you, with extra noodles and meat.

It’s also a welcome to Little Sora visiting our shop.” Hearing this, a warm current instantly surged through Naruto’s heart.

He turned to look at Sora beside him, his eyes sparkling, and said with a smile, “Little Sora, look, Uncle Teuchi and Big Sister Ayame are so nice!” Sora also smiled and nodded, feeling warm in his heart as well.

This father and daughter are truly kind.

Even though he was just a strange child to them, they took such good care of Naruto and him
