“Kakashi, are you all right?” “Obito really didn’t take back your Sharingan?” The moment Might Guy was released from the Kamui dimension, he rushed to Kakashi’s side.
With Guy supporting him, Kakashi limped back toward headquarters.
“Obito, you seriously violated our agreement.” Amagiri Ren watched him return without the slightest expression.
Ren already knew everything that had happened.
Madara, Hashirama, and the others stood behind him, looking at Obito as though they were waiting for the next part of an entertaining show.
“Don’t misunderstand the situation.” Obito pointed toward Madara, Nagato, and the three Hokage.
“I’m not like them.
You didn’t bring me back with Impure World Reincarnation, so you have no control over me.” “You do now.” Ren moved without warning.
A silver collar snapped around Obito’s neck.
Obito’s eye widened.
Ren had moved too quickly for him to follow.
By the time he reacted, the collar was already locked in place.
Space twisted around his body.
Obito immediately tried to activate Kamui and phase through the restraint.
The instant he did, however, the silver collar dissolved into a complex seal formula.
The markings spread across his neck and sank into his body.
The collar no longer had a physical form.
Kamui could not remove it.
“You…” Obito had no idea what Ren had done to him, but the silver seal was obviously dangerous.
It reminded him of the restraints once used to control captured tailed beasts.
“Behave.” Obito prepared to attack.
Ren merely shifted his thoughts.
An invisible force tightened around Obito’s throat.
He collapsed to one knee, clawing at his neck as though someone were strangling him.
His breathing became increasingly difficult.
“What did you do to me?” Obito glared at Ren with fury and humiliation.
“It’s simply a means of keeping you under control.” Ren looked down at him.
“Follow the rules, or the consequences will be worse.” Obito had already caused too much trouble.
Ren had no intention of allowing him to continue acting however he pleased.
“Amagiri Ren, what is the meaning of this?” Obito forced the words through his constricted throat.
“You restrain me like this and still expect me to fight the gods for you?” “I, Obito Uchiha, will not become anyone’s obedient pet.” Tsunade and Mei entered with the other Kage just in time to witness the scene.
All five stopped in disbelief.
Obito Uchiha—the masked man who had terrorized the entire shinobi world—was being forced to the ground by Ren as though he were powerless.
Had they not seen it themselves, none of them would have believed it.
“No one is treating you like a pet.” Ren’s tone remained cold.
“This is only a temporary restraint on your behavior.” “Once Ragnarok is over, I will remove it, along with every other means of control placed on you.” “That includes the promise I made concerning the seal on your heart.” “You are not important enough for me to waste that much effort on.” “If I wanted you dead, one look would be enough to kill you ten times over.” “I selected you for Ragnarok because I acknowledged your strength.” “Do not mistake that opportunity for weakness.” Ren glanced at him once.
The Five Kage were left speechless.
This was the first time they had ever seen anyone speak to Obito in such a manner.
Just who was Amagiri Ren?
“You truly never learn, Obito.” Madara stepped forward with an amused smile.
“Do you think we obey Ren-sama merely because he controls our reanimated bodies?” “Ren-sama is an existence beyond anything you understand.” “It was because of his guidance that I eventually awakened the Rinnegan in my old age.” “And Hashirama learned senjutsu from Ren-sama as well.” “We treat him with respect willingly.” “Yet you were foolish enough to violate the rules he established.” Madara looked down at Obito with open mockery.
“You really must have grown tired of living.” Hashirama showed no disagreement.
That alone confirmed Madara’s words.
“What?” Obito stared at them.
Madara had only awakened the Rinnegan because of Ren’s guidance?
Hashirama’s Sage Mode had also been taught by him?
That explained why Hashirama addressed him as Ren-sensei.
Obito finally realized how badly he had misjudged the situation.
He had assumed Ren was merely another version of Kabuto—someone skilled in Impure World Reincarnation who could control the dead but posed little threat to the living.
That assumption had been completely wrong.
The Five Kage were equally shaken.
They had never imagined that both Madara and Hashirama shared such a deep history with Ren.
Obito eventually stopped resisting.
For now, he had no choice but to cooperate and enter Ragnarok.
Whatever happened afterward could be dealt with later.
“What brings all of you here?” Ren turned toward the Five Kage.
“Naruto Uzumaki and Killer B have returned from Island Turtle.” That was the urgent news they had come to report.
They remembered that Ren had specifically asked to be informed the moment Naruto arrived.
“Naruto is back?” Minato’s face lit up.
He vanished instantly.
Ren and the others followed him outside.
Nagato remained behind long enough to help Obito to his feet.
“We should work together and win Ragnarok first, Tobi.” He gave Obito a faint smile.
“Why remain so obsessed with the Eye of the Moon Plan?” “You’re already dead.
Of course you no longer care.” Obito glared at him.
“And don’t call me Tobi.”
