Obito slowly turned his head toward him.
His expression darkened.

hahaha!” Rin suddenly burst out laughing.
A moment later, Obito and Kakashi joined in.
Their laughter gradually faded.
Obito’s expression became serious.
He stared directly at Kakashi.
“Kakashi, tell me the truth.” “What actually happens in the future?” Kakashi gave him a brief account of the major events that followed.
“Orochimaru defects from Konoha?
I always thought that guy was terrifying.” “What?!
The Uchiha Clan gets wiped out?
You’ve got to be kidding!” “You become a jōnin instructor?
Seriously?” Obito kept interrupting with shocked exclamations while Rin quietly listened beside him.
“So that’s what the future is like…” Obito sighed.
But gradually, his expression grew heavier.
He frowned at Kakashi.
“Kakashi, I think some of those major events you mentioned might really be connected to Madara.” He paused.
His fists slowly clenched.
“Maybe…
they’re even connected to me.” “Obito…” Rin looked at him anxiously.
Kakashi remained silent for a moment before sighing.
“Maybe.” Obito suddenly grabbed Kakashi by the shoulders and stared straight into his eye.
“If all of that really has something to do with me…” “Kakashi, what would you do?” Kakashi looked at him quietly.
“I’d kill you, Obito.” His voice was soft.
But there was no hesitation in his eye.
“I really would kill you.” Obito’s hands tightened around Kakashi’s shoulders.
Then he suddenly grinned, flashing his white teeth.
“If that’s really what I become…” “Kakashi, make sure you kill me.” Kakashi smiled.
There it was.
This was the Obito he remembered.
“Don’t worry.” “I’ll definitely kill you.” “And then you’d better wait for me in the Pure Land, because once I get there, I’m beating the hell out of you again.” Kakashi laughed.
“No thanks.” Obito waved him off with a disgusted expression.
“I’m not interested in spending eternity with you.” He immediately grinned.
“That way, I can spend more time alone with Rin in the Pure Land.” “Idiot.” Kakashi laughed and cursed at him.
“Moron.” Obito laughed back.
Then he suddenly asked, “Can you come back here again?” “Yes.” Kakashi answered without hesitation.
Obito grinned widely.
“Then come visit often.” “I will.” Kakashi nodded softly.
The world froze.
The Scenario ended.

Kakashi stood silently in the Scenario Space.
He watched Obito and Rin disappear.
Only after they were completely gone did Itsuki appear.
“Congratulations.” Itsuki smiled.
“You cleared the Scenario.” Itsuki was in an excellent mood.
He had just earned his first S-rank Coin.
“Thank you for the advice.” Kakashi’s emotions were complicated.
“Without your guidance, I wouldn’t have discovered the truth this quickly.” The Scenarios had already changed his life in ways he could no longer ignore.
But there was no denying that they had also made him much stronger.
More importantly, they had allowed him to confront regrets that had haunted him for years.
“It was nothing.” Itsuki waved dismissively.
Then he looked at Kakashi curiously.
“By the way, how did you come up with that whole story you told Obito?” Kakashi’s expression immediately became serious.
“Even if you hadn’t asked, I was going to ask you something, Itsuki-san.” “Are those events really connected to Obito?” Itsuki raised an eyebrow.
“Don’t you already know the answer?” White Zetsu’s reaction had revealed plenty.
Even if Obito himself wasn’t directly responsible, the organization behind him was almost certainly involved.
Kakashi’s eye dimmed.
He hadn’t expected a hastily invented lie to accidentally expose part of the truth.
“It looks like I’ll need to enter The Death of His Teacher to confirm it.” Itsuki gave him a slightly surprised look.
After several Scenario runs, Kakashi really had changed.
The old Kakashi tended to drift through life with that perpetually bored expression, acting as though nothing could motivate him.

He was actually taking the initiative.
“Don’t rush too much, Kakashi.” Itsuki reminded him, “Don’t forget that some of your Scenarios are closely connected to your students, Naruto and Sasuke.” Kakashi nodded.
That was true.
He would need to consider both of them carefully before entering certain Scenarios.
And the matter involving Obito had only just begun.
There was still plenty he needed to do.
“I’m leaving.” Itsuki began fading away.
“Go ahead and claim your reward.” “An S-rank reward should be quite impressive.” With his first S-rank reward finally secured, Itsuki also needed to decide what he wanted to obtain for himself.
His figure disappeared.
Kakashi remained silent for a moment.
