Konoha Year 45
Three years have passed since the end of the Ninja World War.
“Father, I have polished my body to its peak state!”
Now thirteen years old, Ye Yue Ling has spent three years honing his body, finally reaching the minimum requirements to learn the Four-Finger Piercing!
However, even if his physical fitness is up to par, it doesn’t guarantee he can learn it—one only needs to look at Yezhue Ai in the original story.
“Mm.
Tomorrow, come with me to the training ground.
I will formally teach you how to learn the One-Finger Piercing Hand!”
The next day.
Ye Yue Ling and the Third Raikage arrived at the training ground.
“Ling, you must start by learning the Four-Finger Piercing first.”
“Even the Four-Finger Piercing is not that easy to learn.
Watch closely!”
The Third Raikage tucked his thumb in and activated his Lightning Release Chakra Mode.
His four fingers erupted with an astonishing power!
The Third Raikage aimed at a boulder and charged forward fiercely!
BOOM!
The boulder exploded instantly, turning into a pile of powder!
“This…
this kind of power!”
Ye Yue Ling watched in a daze.
To be honest, he didn’t have much of a concept of how strong the One-Finger Piercing Hand was, but seeing it up close, he realized that even the weakest Four-Finger Piercing possessed power close to an S-rank Forbidden Jutsu!
Many A-rank Ninjutsu couldn’t even manage to turn a rock into powder!
“Ling, to learn the One-Finger Piercing Hand, you must first concentrate all your physical strength and the lightning from your Lightning Release Chakra into your fingers!”
“If you can’t do this, even if your body is stronger than mine, you won’t be able to perform the One-Finger Piercing Hand; you’ll only be relying on raw physical fitness!”
“No wonder the Fourth Raikage couldn’t use the One-Finger Piercing Hand despite his physical strength.
So that’s why!”
Ye Yue Ling suddenly understood.
It was because the Fourth Raikage couldn’t concentrate his entire body’s power into his fingers, which is why he didn’t use it.
After all, with the Fourth Raikage’s physical fitness being strong enough to withstand the Heavenly Sending Technique, he wasn’t much different from the Third Raikage.
Using a Four-Finger Piercing should have been possible, yet he never used it once.
After thinking silently for a while, Ye Yue Ling replied to the Third Raikage.
“Yes, Father!”
“Good.
Now, try to mobilize your strength and transfer it all into your fingers.
Your elder brother failed precisely because he couldn’t control and channel his physical strength into his fingers.”
“The more fingers you use, the lower the required control.
Injecting your full power into four fingers versus one finger is worlds apart!”
“Begin.
First, calm your power, then slowly transfer it into your fingers.
Let me see how far you can go!”
After hearing the Third Raikage’s instructions, Ye Yue Ling sat on the ground with his eyes closed and began trying to guide his power toward his fingers!
“Hey, kid, what are you doing here?” Visit g.com for the full chapter.
As Ye Yue Ling sank into his inner self to mobilize his power, he suddenly saw the massive head of the Eight-Tails, Gyuki!
Once a Jinchuriki enters a state of cultivation for power balance, or a concentration training like Ye Yue Ling’s, the Tailed Beast can pull them into the Tailed Beast Space whenever they want.
Fortunately, after several years of Ye Yue Ling’s soothing ‘Talk no Jutsu’ offensive, the Eight-Tails had become much friendlier toward him.
“Ah!
Eight-Tails, I’m practicing the One-Finger Piercing Hand.
I just entered a state of internal focus and you pulled me in!”
Ye Yue Ling said to the Eight-Tails.
“Oh?
One-Finger Piercing Hand?
You mean that Ninjutsu practiced by that muscle-bound brute?”
The Eight-Tails asked curiously.
“What muscle-bound brute…
forget it, call him whatever you want!”
Ye Yue Ling originally wanted to make the Eight-Tails change his tone, but he figured the Eight-Tails wouldn’t listen.
For the sake of favorability, he would just have to sacrifice his old man’s dignity!
“It’s my father’s Ninjutsu.
Practicing it requires mobilizing the body’s full power into the fingers, which needs extreme control.
Even my big brother didn’t succeed!
Eight-Tails, do you have a way?”
Ye Yue Ling said to the Eight-Tails.
“Mobilizing power into the fingers?”
The Eight-Tails pondered for a moment.
“Kid, there is actually a simple way!
But it’s a bit dangerous!”
Ye Yue Ling really hadn’t expected that the Eight-Tails could actually come up with a solution!
“Eight-Tails, you’re amazing!
To actually have a way…
as expected of an encyclopedia that has lived for thousands of years!”
Ye Yue Ling hurriedly flattered the Eight-Tails.
The Eight-Tails was quite pleased by this.
“Kid, the method is this: you tear off half of the sealing tag.
I will seep my power out from the sealing space and mix it into your body.
Since I have absolute control over my power, I can use my power to mix with yours and lead them to your fingers!”
“Of course, this is equivalent to putting your life in my hands!”
After the Eight-Tails finished speaking, he silently looked down at Ye Yue Ling.
In fact, this was also a test from the Eight-Tails for Ye Yue Ling.
If Ye Yue Ling didn’t trust him, the Eight-Tails might still help him later, but they would never truly bond.
“Ah, I thought it was something else.
If it’s you, Eight-Tails, I’m not worried at all!”
Ye Yue Ling said to the Eight-Tails with a smile, and then directly tore off the entire tag!
Actually, Ye Yue Ling understood that as long as a Tailed Beast is willing to communicate with you normally, they won’t harm you anymore.
Tailed Beasts are actually quite simple; they’ve just become irritable and angry after being sealed by humans for thousands of years!
If someone locked him in a room, forget hundreds or thousands of years—he wouldn’t even last one!
“Eight-Tails, since you’re willing to help me, then I will trust you unconditionally.
After all, we are partners!”
Ye Yue Ling smiled and extended his fist toward the Eight-Tails!
“So similar…”
The Eight-Tails muttered to himself.
Then, he also extended his own fist.
“Kid, remember my name.
My name is Gyuki!”
“Gyuki, I will always remember your name!
After all, you are my best partner!”
Afterward, Ye Yue Ling withdrew from the sealing space, and a deep red Chakra emerged on his body!
“What?
How could the Eight-Tails…!”
When the Third Raikage saw the deep red Chakra emerging on Ye Yue Ling, his first thought was that Ye Yue Ling was about to lose control!
“Father, I’m fine!
This is the Eight-Tails helping me!”
Ye Yue Ling replied with a smile.
“What?”
The Third Raikage seemed unable to comprehend it.
He truly couldn’t believe that Ye Yue Ling could control the Tailed Beast’s Chakra at the age of thirteen!
“Father, the Eight-Tails and I have already reconciled.”
Then, several of the Eight-Tails’ tails sprouted from behind him, but he still maintained his sanity!
That simple sentence exploded in the Third Raikage’s mind!
Looking at the massive tails behind Ye Yue Ling, the joy in his heart soared through the clouds!
“Good, well done!
As expected of my son!”
The Third Raikage slapped Ye Yue Ling’s shoulder hard.
The immense strength almost knocked Ye Yue Ling to the ground; if not for the Eight-Tails’ Chakra, that slap might have buried him in the dirt!
“Ling, I have already mobilized all your power into four fingers.
I can’t do any fewer; you must continue to control and compress it yourself.
I can only handle the basic compression!”
Gyuki’s voice echoed inside Ye Yue Ling.
“Thank you, Gyuki!”
Then, a powerful Chakra lit up on Ye Yue Ling’s fingers!
“Four-Finger Piercing!”
