“Hoo hoo hoo—” Yellow sand constantly swirled, biting at the faces of everyone in the Fourth Division of the Allied Shinobi Forces.

The sky, however, was a brilliant, clear blue.

The scorching sun beat down directly on the land.

This was the border between the Land of Fire and the Land of Thunder.

On the sand-covered ground, brown stone pillars, tens of meters high, occasionally jutted out.

Wind-worn rock fragments lay everywhere, desolate under the fierce sun.

Despite the intense heat, everyone’s faces were etched with gravity and seriousness.

They all looked up at the two figures standing on the brown stone pillars not far away.

One of them was wrapped in bandages.

This Bandaged Man was looking sideways at the tall, red-armored man beside him.

The latter stood with his arms crossed, looking down with disdain at the Fourth Division.

And within the solemn Fourth Division below, one person’s attire and actions were strikingly out of place: He had a short ponytail, wore a set of gray casual summer clothes, and casually shuffled in a pair of slippers.

He was holding a bowl of ramen, constantly slurping it down.

“Slurp—slurp—” His slurping sounds were utterly cheerful, making him stand out against the solemn and quiet alliance.

The former gradually came to his senses.

While slurping ramen, he widened his eyes, looking left and right.

Then, he swallowed a mouthful of noodles, his expression filled with surprise and confusion: “Sip—Huh?

Huh huh???” This person’s name was Ishikawa.

He came from a place called Earth.

At least, an hour ago, he was still at home, watching Naruto, eating ramen with a fan blowing.

Ishikawa was a bit confused.

He glanced at the clothes the people around him were wearing – brown vests with red undersides.

Where would such strange decorations come from… The people next to him had better senses.

They were already trembling slightly from the oppressive aura of the long-haired, armored man on the stone pillar and didn’t have time to pay attention to Ishikawa’s odd behavior.

Ishikawa then turned to look at another person’s attire.

He froze for a moment, as if he understood something.

Then, stubbornly, he walked a few steps to the side of others and rummaged around.

Under the disgusted gaze of a green-vested ninja, he became obsessed, muttering to himself: “…That’s Sunagakure, this is Kumogakure…

Good heavens, you guys are from Konoha.” Ishikawa held his empty ramen bowl in one hand, a bowl the size of a basin that he had deliberately chosen.

His other hand hung limply at his side, his face a mask of bewilderment.

He knew he had transmigrated now.

But who transmigrates like a teleportation nowadays, without even a proper setup?

Where was the truck?

Did it just take me away??

Waaah, my fan, my watermelon, and the ramen in the pot… Ishikawa happened to be standing in the middle of the Fourth Division.

He squinted as much as he could toward the front.

He surprisingly saw a few familiar figures.

He stood on tiptoe and counted: “Gaara… Temari, Onoki, and… Naruto…” Then, squinting, he noticed that almost everyone was looking upwards.

The sunlight was making him uncomfortable.

Ishikawa quickly concluded that this must be the Shinobi World War, and instinctively followed everyone’s gaze upwards: “Is that… Mu?

Then who’s next to him… Is is is is Uchiha Madara?!” Ishikawa’s eyes flew open.

He finally understood.

The yellow sand, the clear sky, the Shinobi World War, the Fourth Division, Gaara as the leader… “Clang!” The ramen bowl he was holding fell to the ground.

Damn it, I just transmigrated and I have to face Uchiha Madara?!!

And an Edo Tensei Uchiha Madara at that?!!

“In the original plot, the Fourth Division was almost wiped out…” Ishikawa stared intently at Uchiha Madara, who stood on the stone pillar, his clothes and hair fluttering in the wind though there was no breeze.

The perspective pulled back.

Madara was looking down contemptuously at the Fourth Division and was speaking to Mu, the Second Tsuchikage possessed by Kabuto: “Talking to me through Edo Tensei, how insidious.” Madara, in a calm tone, exposed Kabuto’s slyness and cowardice.

Kabuto, who was possessing Mu through the Edo Tensei jutsu, did not answer Madara’s provocation.

Instead, he turned to Madara and told him about the great gift he had prepared.

Kabuto spoke: “Your Edo Tensei was specially made by me.

Your current strength surpasses your prime.” Upon hearing this, Madara finally turned his gaze from the Fourth Division and looked sideways at Mu (Kabuto), his tone becoming somewhat cold: “You… have seen my prime?” ———— While they were talking, Ishikawa was backing away step by step, preparing to retreat from the battlefield.

Are you kidding me?

Don’t even mention fighting, the sun alone would turn me into a dried fish!

Keeping me here is just asking for trouble!

He had tried many times in many ways himself.

Ishikawa despaired, realizing he probably didn’t have any cheat skills.

The scorching sun baked the land.

The yellow sand, heated up, was even hotter underfoot.

The entire battlefield felt like a barbecue grill.

Ishikawa couldn’t stay any longer.

He had to at least get away from the Fourth Division.

Ishikawa’s feet sped up, kicking up a bit of dust that scattered like smoke.

“Get out of the way—” Seeing that no one was paying attention to him, Ishikawa started to run.

a wise man knows better than to fight when the odds are against him.

Without any cheat skills, what’s the point of showing off?

I’m outta here, thanks!

Just then, from behind him, a faint landing sound that seemed to have traveled a long distance reached his ears.

Ishikawa froze abruptly, and an immense sense of pressure washed over him in an instant.

“He—” Ishikawa stiffly turned his head, looking at the red dot in the distant yellow sand.

It was Madara.

Madara had descended from the stone pillar.

He stood tall, having accepted Kabuto’s request to witness his prime.

He slowly walked towards the Fourth Division as if taking a leisurely stroll.

The clouds in the sky covered the place where Madara stood and moved with his steps.

From above, it looked as if he was leading the cumulus clouds in a charge against the Fourth Allied Shinobi Forces.

“Stomp… stomp… stomp, stomp stomp.” Uchiha Madara walked faster and faster, eventually starting to run, rapidly approaching the main force of the Fourth Division!

Some ninjas nervously swallowed, gripping their kunai.

Others bowed their heads, holding some keepsake and praying.

Some raised their ninjutsu blades and let out a long cry: “Ah—!!!!” The battle was about to break out.

“Ah—!!!!” The ninjas began to charge forward.

The front, the middle, everyone was charging towards Madara, shouting to cheer themselves on.

The formation of countless people contrasted sharply with Madara standing alone.

Ishikawa’s legs went weak, and he leaned back, bumping into someone.

The good manners ingrained over eighteen years under the red flag made him instinctively turn to apologize.

But when he turned, he froze: “S-sorry… Buddy, you look really familiar.” The ninja Ishikawa bumped into was from Kumogakure.

He had short hair, and his hands were tightly gripping a long sword that shimmered with alternating green and blue chakra.

His expression was very tense.

Ishikawa looked at him curiously for a few moments, then his mind quickly flashed through several scenes.

In this critical moment, his mind worked at lightning speed, not letting go of any chance to save himself.

Finally, he remembered!

But he realized that this person might not be able to save him… rather, Ishikawa had doomed himself.

This young man from Kumogakure… wasn’t he the one Madara was strangling?

Not far behind Ishikawa, dust was rising.

This was the result of Madara rampaging through the Fourth Division.

Madara, alone, moved through the battlefield as if it were an empty space, rapidly cutting through the entire scene.

“Bang!

Crack!

Ping!” The sounds of fighting drew closer.

Ishikawa suddenly turned his head, only to find Madara holding two retrieved long swords, having just finished off a ninja near him, and preparing to close in and deal with him!!

“How could he be so fast?!” Ishikawa was stunned.

He stared intently at the red figure dancing among the crowd not far away.

“Bang!” The next moment, Madara vanished from his spot, leaving behind dust stirred up by the wind.

Madara had finished off everyone over there.

With a dash, he quickly flew over, directly in front of Ishikawa.

Due to his dashing motion, Madara’s landing posture was slightly crouched below Ishikawa.

As Madara was about to look up, he caught sight of Ishikawa’s face.

His eyes widened, and he froze.

Madara’s gaze was filled with disbelief, which also caused his movement to stall, giving Ishikawa an opportunity.

“How could it be… You…” Ishikawa’s face was carved with distinct features, sharp and angular.

He had a head of black, thick, long hair.

A high nose, his lips, however, curved downwards due to the heat.

He could be considered handsome.

This guy… seems like… that person… Madara stared at Ishikawa in disbelief.

Ishikawa, being stared at from below by Madara, had his brain short-circuit.

His eyes darted around as he met Madara’s gaze and, as if possessed, reached out a hand and grabbed Madara by the neck.

Then, looking at Madara examining him closely, the confused Ishikawa felt a surge of indignation.

He was standing in front of the person who was originally choked, so didn’t that mean he was going to be choked?

If so, then I’ll strike first!

Ishikawa, with a dead man’s resolve, said: “Do you want to dance too?” Instantly, the air seemed to freeze.

surrounding allied ninjas who were gradually closing in were stunned.

They watched in shock at the guy in short sleeves in the middle, who was making eye contact with Madara and had him by the neck.

Seeing that Madara didn’t react for a long time and let him be choked, the allied ninjas were even more surprised.

Some even retreated out of nervousness, silently breaking out in a cold sweat.

Madara frowned, looking at Ishikawa with a scrutinizing gaze, and slowly stood up.

Ishikawa’s hand remained on Madara’s neck, lifted as he stood up.

At the same time, a voice rang in Ishikawa’s mind, instantly waking him up.

He knew his cheat skill had finally arrived!

The voice echoed in Ishikawa’s mind: “Ding.

Host: Ishikawa.” “Completed Novice Mission 3: Say a line from a certain character to determine the system’s nature, activating rewards… Randomly drawing a trait of that character…” In reality, a smile appeared on Ishikawa’s face.

Madara also reacted.

The person before him merely looked similar, not the person he knew.

So, he angrily turned and kicked out: “Bang!!!” Ishikawa curled up like a shrimp, his face flushing red as he flew out like a kite with a broken string, crashing violently into a distant stone pillar with a second loud noise: “Bang!!” Dust and shattered stones flew.

Ishikawa was embedded in the stone pillar, his life or death unknown.

“Bastard!

A useless waste with only an empty shell!” Madara looked at Ishikawa with disgust as he flew away, then turned to plunge back into the allied forces, intending to dispel his unpleasant feelings.

Ishikawa, now embedded in the stone pillar, had a gaping hole in his stomach.

The immense force had impacted him, and endless pain rushed to his brain, his consciousness blurring.

Ishikawa’s vision began to darken.

His remaining thoughts were only of regret.

Ishikawa felt as if he saw a black and a white figure appearing before him, like Black and White Impermanence.

Just then, a pleasant voice sounded, a voice that completely revived Ishikawa: “Draw successful!

Obtained: One of Edo Tensei·Uchiha Madara’s abilities!

System’s official name: Say the Line and Get Stronger System (Novice Protection Period): As long as the host says a character’s line in front of them (requires physical contact, not required during novice period), they can extract a portion of that character’s traits and copy them onto themselves.” As the voice faded, the immortality of the Edo Tensei body seemed to take effect: “Chua—chua—chua—” Countless paper-like fragments materialized from mid-air and quickly flowed into Ishikawa’s hollow torso.

Soon, Ishikawa was fully restored, and the power within him surged, an immense energy appearing out of nowhere.

Presumably, it was chakra.

However, the restored Ishikawa showed no cracks, and his pupils and whites of his eyes remained unchanged.

He looked like a normal human.

Ishikawa gradually regained his senses.

He looked up and saw Madara being blown away by Temari’s wind release.

His emotions exploded.

He had almost been killed by this guy just now!

“I, damn it…” Ishikawa couldn’t help but curse.

This was none of his business originally, and he was suddenly thrust into a battlefield, only to receive a beating.

Regret, pain, anger, injustice, and the feeling of his dignity being trampled all surged into his heart.

Ishikawa’s breathing gradually became stable, but curses alone were not enough to vent his anger.

Why was I plucked from my comfortable home and thrown into this hellhole?

Why do I have to face Madara head-on right away?!

So, he turned to look at a Sunagakure ninja lying unconscious on the ground and quickly walked over, squatting down and starting to operate.

“No… No… Found it!” Ishikawa quickly searched the Sunagakure ninja and soon found six explosive tags.

He let out a triumphant laugh and then sharply fixed his gaze in Uchiha Madara’s direction.

“Edo Tensei body… Humph, you’re finished!” Ishikawa hummed to himself as he stuck the explosive tags onto his back, then turned to face Madara directly, attempting to channel the chakra within him into the explosive tags.

Soon, all six explosive tags lit up: “Bang!!!

Bang!!!

Bang!!!” A massive explosion erupted behind Ishikawa, the immense shockwave launching him into the air.

The remaining unexploded tags detonated sequentially, allowing Ishikawa to adjust his position in mid-air.

Soon, Ishikawa flew directly above Madara.

The blinding sunlight shone on Ishikawa, casting a huge shadow beneath him that enveloped Madara’s entire body on the ground.

Madara, who was about to use Great Fire Annihilation, looked up in confusion.

He saw a long-haired man wearing only shorts floating in the sky, giving him the middle finger, and shouting loudly: “You mere sand are no match for me!” At the same time, the system’s voice echoed in Ishikawa’s mind: “Ding.

Host has snatched Edo Tensei·Uchiha Madara’s line, is extracting character traits…” Below Ishikawa, who was now level with the clouds, Madara, standing on the ground and forming hand seals, looked extremely displeased.

The shape of his open mouth gradually shifted away from the allied ninjas.

He raised his head, facing Ishikawa in the sky!

“Fire Style: Great Fire Ball!”
