Ding!

[Might Guy lost to you ten times at rock-paper-scissors and has sincerely accepted his defeat.] [Task 1: Defeat Might Guy and make him sincerely acknowledge his loss — Completed.] [Reward: 1 Level 1 Wish Power Fragment.] Strictly speaking, Kazama had cheated at rock-paper-scissors by taking advantage of his extraordinary physical perception.

He had also exploited a loophole in the System’s task requirements.Full novel: Naruto: The Dragon Ball Wish System — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Fortunately, this crude System didn’t seem to care about the method used to complete a task.

If it had possessed genuine intelligence, who knew what kind of problems it might have caused?

For the first time, Kazama felt that having such a “primitive” System actually had its advantages.

Afterward, Kazama taught Guy the method he used to practice Tekkai.

Whether Guy could actually learn it was another matter.

After all, Tekkai demanded an extremely high degree of control over the body.

Still, Guy was very young.

If he began practicing from now on, there was at least a possibility that he might succeed someday.

After parting ways with Might Duy and his son, Kazama hummed cheerfully as he returned to the Kazama estate.

It was already around nine in the morning.

Uncle Gen had prepared breakfast and had been waiting for quite some time.

Normally, Kazama returned much earlier.

But today, because he had trained with Might Duy instead of exercising in his own backyard, he came home later than usual.

Even so, the gains had been substantial.

Training with Might Duy had taught Kazama much more efficient methods for both practicing and using taijutsu.

Spring passed.

Autumn came.

The seasons turned, and another year disappeared in the blink of an eye.

It was now Year 39 of Konoha.

Throughout the past year, Kazama had focused continuously on refining his physique and taijutsu.

He practiced the Six Powers, hand seals, chakra refinement, and chakra control.

From Might Duy, he had also learned several simple taijutsu techniques.

His progress with the Six Powers had been considerable.

He could now properly use Soru.

However, because his body was still insufficiently developed, Soru alone could only propel him a little over ten meters.

If he combined it with the Body Flicker Technique, though, he could cover roughly fifty meters.

Moving fifty meters almost instantaneously was already exceptionally fast.

The rest of the Six Powers had not changed dramatically.

He had simply become much more proficient with them.

Rankyaku, however, remained completely beyond him.

As for hand seals, thanks to his perfect bodily control, Kazama could now form three seals per second with both hands.

Using only one hand, he could form four seals per second.

Practice made perfect.

He still needed to keep improving.

His chakra control had essentially reached the limit of what dedicated exercises could achieve.

From now on, further improvement would have to come gradually through actual training and use.

His chakra reserves had also doubled over the past year.

They now far exceeded those of an ordinary genin.

If Kazama possessed slightly more advanced ninjutsu, he already had enough chakra to use them.

Most importantly— Kazama had now accumulated four units of Level 1 Wish Power.

He also possessed two Level 1 Wish Power Fragments.

Ever since the two tasks involving Might Duy and Guy had appeared, however, the System’s task function had seemingly vanished.

Not a single new task had appeared.

Kazama found that incredibly irritating.

He had originally thought he could farm some easy tasks and collect more Wish Power Fragments.

Apparently not.

The task system seemed more like an unreliable bonus feature that appeared only whenever it felt like it.

Under normal circumstances, it simply remained silent.

The four units of Level 1 Wish Power Kazama had accumulated could now be combined into either two units of Level 2 Wish Power— or one unit of Level 3 Wish Power.

After thinking for a long moment, Kazama gritted his teeth.

He combined them into a single unit of Level 3 Wish Power.

Then he spoke mentally.

“System, I wish to obtain the most perfect possible Sharingan bloodline!” Anyone could play games with wording.

Kazama did not naturally possess the Uchiha clan’s bloodline.

Obtaining the Sharingan bloodline meant creating something that did not exist within him.

According to the System, such a wish required at least Level 3 Wish Power.

Naturally, Level 3 Wish Power qualified.

Level 4 Wish Power would work as well, but if he used something that powerful on a comparatively simple wish, the System might strengthen the result.

Perhaps he would obtain a three-tomoe Sharingan immediately after receiving the bloodline.

Of course, that was only Kazama’s speculation.

Using Level 4 Wish Power merely to obtain the Sharingan bloodline would be far too wasteful.

Even using Level 3 Wish Power already made Kazama feel somewhat reluctant.

But he would soon be entering the Ninja Academy.

The earlier he obtained the Sharingan, the earlier he could begin developing and evolving it.

Once it became strong enough, he could copy ninjutsu and no longer have to worry so much about acquiring techniques.

More importantly, the Sharingan developed gradually.

The sooner he obtained it, the sooner he could begin working toward the three-tomoe Sharingan.

And unlike Wood Release, the Sharingan was relatively easy to conceal.

As long as Kazama didn’t activate it in front of others, there was little risk of exposing it.

Wood Release was different.

Even if he never used a single Wood Release technique, the powerful life force associated with it could produce abnormal regenerative abilities.

That alone might attract unwanted attention.

After carefully considering everything, Kazama finally decided that obtaining the Sharingan now was his best option.

Whether for copying ninjutsu in the future or giving the Sharingan enough time to evolve, acquiring it early offered the greatest advantage.

A line of text appeared in his mind.

[Granting this wish requires 1 unit of Level 3 Wish Power.] [Confirm wish?] Kazama answered without hesitation.

“Confirm!” [Wish granted!] The moment those words appeared, Kazama felt an unfamiliar chakra suddenly emerge inside his body.

It fused perfectly with him.

Then it surged toward his eyes.

“Hiss…” A burning sensation suddenly flooded both eyes.

Kazama immediately felt an intense stinging pain, as though someone had thrown chili powder directly into them.

Tears streamed down his cheeks.

Fortunately, the burning sensation quickly began to fade.

In its place came an extremely cool and refreshing feeling.

Kazama hurried into a room with a mirror and stared closely at his reflection.

A young boy appeared in the glass.

Short black hair.

Sharp brows.

Bright, striking eyes.

Even at only five years old, he was already remarkably handsome.

Once he grew up, he would surely leave countless girls infatuated!

But Kazama had no attention to spare for his appearance right now.

Both of his irises had turned crimson.

Within each red eye— two black tomoe slowly revolved.

The instant Kazama saw them, excitement surged through him.

“Two tomoe!” “This is a two-tomoe Sharingan!” A two-tomoe Sharingan was already capable of seeing through many aspects of ninjutsu and copying certain taijutsu movements.

That was exactly what Kazama needed.

And he was only five years old.

He had literally just turned five!

Yet his Sharingan had already reached the two-tomoe stage.

If things continued like this, reaching the Mangekyō Sharingan in the future should be entirely possible.

Even if he failed to awaken the Mangekyō naturally, Kazama could always use a wish to upgrade it.

But that would still mean wasting another unit of Wish Power.

Besides, he didn’t even know whether upgrading to the Mangekyō Sharingan could be accomplished with only Level 1 Wish Power.

“Could it be that obtaining just the Sharingan bloodline was considered too simple for Level 3 Wish Power?” “So the excess Wish Power strengthened the result and directly gave me a two-tomoe Sharingan?” Kazama thought for a moment.

“Or maybe it’s because my body is perfect.

The Sharingan bloodline fused perfectly with me, and my mental strength is already exceptionally powerful, so the Sharingan naturally evolved straight to two tomoe…” After considering both possibilities, Kazama quickly stopped caring.

“Whatever.” “It doesn’t matter why.” “The important thing is that I now have a two-tomoe Sharingan!” Kazama grinned.

I have wishes, so I can do whatever I want!
