As Tsunade’s disciple, how could Tiange not know it?

The one thing he didn’t know was the Yin Seal!

And it wasn’t that he couldn’t learn it — he simply wasn’t willing to yet.

He wanted to study it first, see if he could refine and improve on it.

After all, beyond the ninja era came the era of sealing marks, and Tsunade’s Yin Seal bore a striking resemblance to the Otsutsuki Clan’s Kama!

Tiange wanted to find out whether he could develop something out of it himself.

If that failed, he’d bring it into the inheritance space and experiment there.

Even if he could only hold two inheritances at once, he planned to try after finishing the Byakugan inheritance.

And he had a feeling it wasn’t actually a hard limit of two.

His power just wasn’t sufficient yet.

Once his strength reached the right level, he should be able to unlock others.

That bead was profoundly mysterious, Tiange couldn’t figure out a single thing about it.

“So…

so incredible!” “Sensei, can you…

really teach me this?” Tiange said nothing.

He gave a small nod.

“Thank you, Sensei!” “I’ll work as hard as I can!” After that, Tiange walked Sakura through the techniques for Chakra Enhanced Strength one by one.

The technique already demanded exceptional chakra control, and Sakura had a natural gift for that.

On top of that, with Inner Sakura’s presence, learning this would yield twice the results for half the effort.

“Practice on your own.” “You have to work harder than those two.

I’m also planning to teach you medical ninjutsu.” “Those two are no good in that area.” “Yes, Sensei!” In that moment, Sakura felt that the cold-faced sensei wasn’t so frightening after all.

A secret technique like this, given her family’s circumstances, was something she very likely would never have had the chance to learn in her entire life.

And yet here she was, only the second day, only their second meeting, and the cold-faced sensei had already passed it on to her.

Ino was right.

This was an opportunity, and for her, it was the opportunity of a lifetime.

Miss it once, and nothing like it would ever come again.

She absolutely…

absolutely could not let it slip away.

After that, Sakura went into a frenzy, like she’d taken a stimulant.

Even as her hands bled without stop, she didn’t care in the slightest.

For someone who had always fussed over her appearance, tending carefully to every last strand of hair, this would have been unthinkable before.

Tiange treated her wounds, a session under two minutes, and then she needed treating again.

He found it too troublesome.

He split off a Shadow Clone to stay at her side and handle her treatment exclusively.

“Assistant, go buy a few lunch boxes.

It’s time they ate.” Kakashi, who had been standing a short distance away watching the whole time, felt thoroughly sullen.

So he really had become the errand boy.

“Got it.” But could he refuse?

He couldn’t, and he didn’t dare.

Over the course of one morning, he had watched the three kids make progress.

Sakura in particular had left him stunned.

In Kakashi’s view, this girl was nothing but a vase.

The mediator the Third Hokage had arranged to smooth over the friction between Naruto and Sasuke.

But judging by what she had shown this morning alone, Sakura had blown the other two completely out of the water.

And Kakashi could tell — all within this single morning — that Sakura had undergone a dual transformation, physical and psychological.

Her confidence had been quietly building up.

Because she had pulled ahead of even Sasuke, the most talented of the three, by nearly half a day’s worth of progress.

That made Sakura realize something.

She wasn’t incapable.

She had simply never truly pushed herself, never gone all out before.

When she really staked everything, she could do it too.

The more she trained, the more excited she became.

The more she trained, the more confident she grew.

Even drenched in sweat with her hair clumping into twisted strands, she didn’t care at all.

She forgot the pain in her hands entirely, throwing punch after punch, feeling out how to channel Chakra Enhanced Strength.

BANG!

BANG, BANG, BANG, BANG!

The sounds of her strikes rang out without pause, and by the time Kakashi returned, she had already punched out a small crater in the ground.

That level of force was nothing remarkable to him.

What stunned Kakashi was the sheer speed of her improvement.

Another genius?

How had no one at the ninja academy noticed?

When Naruto and Sasuke were called back to eat, they saw Sakura’s progress and took yet another hard blow.

Was Sakura the real genius all along?

Sasuke in particular, just that morning he had said he’d protect her until she caught up.

Now, the way things looked, hadn’t it completely flipped?

Both he and Naruto had been the ones chasing after her.

And even in terms of raw strength, which had always been her weak point…

Sasuke stared at the small craters pockmarking the ground, every one of them punched out by her fists.

He was honest with himself.

He couldn’t have made those.

“Stop staring.” “Eat.” “If you two complete the water-walking exercise before six, I’ll teach you each one jutsu.” Tiange formed hand seals with his left hand alone, moving fast, lightning crackling and flickering around it without stop.

He swung it casually at two large trees nearby.

They snapped and fell with a crack, dark gashes left where they broke.

He raised his right hand.

A blue sphere spun continuously in his palm.

The tree to his right was driven straight through, a gaping hole blown clean out the other side, and the force carried on, taking out the trees around it as well.

“So…

so amazing!” Naruto’s eyes blazed.

He had to learn it.

He absolutely had to.

Sasuke quietly clenched his fist.

As expected, sticking with this man was the only way to learn something truly useful.

Both of them snatched up their lunch boxes and shoved the food in as fast as they could.

Under two minutes, cheeks puffed out, and they were already sprinting toward the river.

After they bolted off, Kakashi, who had been standing there stunned, couldn’t hold back any longer.

“I didn’t think you had such a deep grasp of ninjutsu.” He knew those two techniques well.

One was the Lightning Cutter he himself had developed.

The other was his own sensei’s Rasengan.

And this guy had performed the Lightning Cutter with a single-handed seal while simultaneously executing the Rasengan with his other hand.

What the hell.

Was this person even human?

And weren’t Hyūga clan members only supposed to train in Gentle Fist?

“Just because I don’t use them doesn’t mean I don’t know them.” “Is that…

supposed to be difficult?” Tiange’s tone was completely flat, as if he were talking about something utterly trivial.

Those words made Kakashi shut down on the spot.

That was a single-handed seal.

That was two different jutsu released simultaneously from opposite hands.

Sir, could you please not sound so casual?

You’re making me feel like I’ve never seen anything in my life.

Sakura, being a girl, hadn’t eaten as fast as the two boys.

She caught every word of their exchange from nearby.

Her respect for Tiange jumped up another level.

She quickly finished her lunch box, got back on her feet, and kept training Chakra Enhanced Strength.

She hadn’t forgotten: Sensei had said he was going to teach her medical ninjutsu.

Right now, Sakura had one understanding and one understanding only.

Whatever Sensei teaches will not be anything less than extraordinary.

No matter what it is, even if it kills her, she will learn it.

And besides…

her gaze drifted to Naruto, already training with multiple Shadow Clones, then to Sasuke, who hadn’t stopped for even a moment.

Those two were going all out.

She absolutely could not fall too far behind.

In the end, Naruto and Sasuke both finished before six o’clock.

Tiange, true to his word, taught each of them one jutsu, something for them to work on from here on out.

“Eight o’clock tomorrow, same place.” “Get ready.

We’re taking a mission.” “Dismissed.” All three of them watched Tiange’s retreating figure, then dropped to the ground where they stood.

Exhausted.

But…

so fulfilled.
