What kind of weird battle posture was this…

Everyone stared blankly at Rin Nohara and Aomizu, staying silent while their honest eyes remained glued to the scene.

From a bystander’s perspective, Rin Nohara looked like a wife long separated from her husband, running over in excitement and diving headfirst into Aomizu’s embrace with timid affection…Full novel: Naruto: Tobirama’s Jinchuuriki — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Ikaku Umino blinked, feeling as though he had fallen into a genjutsu.

Kakashi Hatake, holding his short blade, was similarly stunned.

A moment later, his brow furrowed, and he muttered under his breath, “A single-seal genjutsu?

How is that possible…” He recalled the seal Aomizu had formed right before opening his arms.

“No, was that the Sharingan…” Kakashi immediately rejected this absurd thought in the next instant, yet he couldn’t spot anything unusual from Aomizu’s completely normal eyes.

Other than looking handsome, there seemed to be no special feature.

The onlookers were shocked, Kakashi was pondering, Shisui was grinning like an amused relative, and Aomizu was holding Rin Nohara…

On this tiny training field, however, one specific individual had overheated to maximum capacity!

“You, you, YOU!!” “Aomizu Uchiha, you damn dead-last, let go of Rin right now!!!” Obito watched with his own eyes as the girl he was too shy to even draw close to dove right into Aomizu’s arms.

His mind went blank at first, wondering if Rin had made a mistake.

But the scene that followed allowed intense fury to swallow his sanity, nearly burning him up from the inside out.

With a ferocious glare, Obito reached toward his ninja tool pouch…

“Don’t move.” Kakashi, holding his short blade, used the Body Flicker Jutsu to appear before Obito with a cold expression.

“The match isn’t over.

As the examiner, I will handle anyone who disrupts order.” “Kakashi, you bastard!

Rin is being held by him, how do you expect me to…

to stay calm!!” Obito panted heavily, but the cold blade against his neck reminded him that Kakashi wasn’t joking.

“Shut up.” Kakashi’s gaze was flat.

“If you can’t observe basic discipline, leave the exam venue.” The wild rage in Obito’s eyes grew even fiercer.

On the other side, Rin Nohara, wrapped in Aomizu’s arms, realized her awkward predicament.

Passively feeling Aomizu’s solid chest, the excellent kunoichi panicked slightly.

Even so, Rin calmly slid her hand toward her tool pouch, looking innocently at Aomizu.

“I…

I…” Aomizu smiled, hooking Rin’s chin with his index finger.

His curled middle finger hummed with Water Style chakra, its moist vapor wetting her throat.

“Rin, you really are an impressive ninja.

Even in this position, you’re still looking for a way to win…” Aomizu chuckled as he spoke to Rin, taking her little hand with his other hand and covering her tool pouch with it.

“A delightful match, wasn’t it?” Aomizu met Rin’s gaze.

His handsome black eyes seemed to carry a blood-red charm; beneath the concealed technique, his tomoe rotated slowly.

The combination of ocular power and visual appeal hooked the young girl’s heart.

Rin’s face turned visibly red.

Feeling the warmth of Aomizu’s palm, the ticklish sensation as her chin was lifted, and the tense chill of the water blade threatening her throat…

Gentle, mysterious, powerful, and beautiful…

That was the impression of Aomizu that flashed in Rin’s mind at this moment.

With these strange feelings mixed together, Rin felt her heart beat faster and faster.

A moment later, blushing, she whispered in a voice as quiet as a mosquito: “Aomizu-kun, thank you…

I forfeit.” “Why thank me?

Like I said, it was a delightful match…” Aomizu slowly released Rin, then suddenly gave her an apologetic smile.

A warm, green fluorescent light emerged from his index finger, softly sweeping across her throat.

Rin froze.

Hadn’t she already conceded?

Why was he…

Yet, mysteriously, Rin didn’t back away.

She let Aomizu proceed, her pretty eyes staring at him in confusion, seemingly unable to understand why…

“Sorry, Rin.

I haven’t mastered controlling the water blade yet and scratched your skin.

I’m very interested in Medical Ninjutsu—let me heal the wound for you.

After all, I caused it.” “Eh?

Aomizu-kun, you’re interested in Medical Ninjutsu too?” Rin’s eyes lit up.

Frowning slightly as she felt the Medical Ninjutsu from Aomizu’s fingertip, she softly gasped: “Amazing…

You’re so amazing, Aomizu-kun!” Aomizu gave a helpless smile.

“I’m four years older than you, Rin.

I’ve just practiced more.

I’m sure you will become a much better medical ninja than me in the future.

If you’re interested, you’re welcome to visit my home.

I have some insights on chakra control from texts left by my grandfather that might help you.” “Wow, really, Aomizu-kun?

Thank you so much!” Rin said excitedly.

As a child from a civilian family, precious knowledge was what she lacked most.

“Ahem…

Student Aomizu, are you ready to face your next opponent?” Ikaku Umino let out a feigned stern cough.

Although he enjoyed watching this scene filled with the aura of youth, the exam had to continue.

The scene of Aomizu and Rin’s match had actually given this middle-aged man a long-absent, fond smile, reminding him of his own youth.

As for the rest of the classmates, most of the boys had complex looks of admiration in their eyes, while the girls held a bit of envy.

What kind of luck was this?

Rin Nohara seemed to have lost the match, but she won back a manual on chakra control—and perhaps even more…

For instance, a romance involving a low-profile genius from a noble clan?

Kakashi glanced at Aomizu with a complex expression, then slowly retracted the short blade resting on Obito’s neck, warning, “Don’t do it a second time.

For a ninja, discipline is always first.” Obito panted heavily, seemingly not hearing a word Kakashi said.

Right then, Rin returned, a distinct blush on her face.

Her eyes remained glued to Aomizu’s figure, forgetting to even greet Kakashi or Obito beside her.

“Rin, are you okay?

That guy is terrible!” Suppressing the feeling that his head was about to explode, Obito forced a painful smile, trying to comfort Rin.

“Don’t talk nonsense, Obito!

Aomizu-kun is a gentle and powerful person…” Rin glared at Obito in dissatisfaction, her tone stern.

Obito’s breathing grew increasingly ragged.

A dense blood-red hue surfaced on his eyeballs, and black tomoe began to spin violently in his eyes.

At the same time, a clear prompt sounded in Aomizu’s mind.

[Detected intense envy and anger from Obito Uchiha toward host.

Bound as target!]
