The air in the Land of Fire was hot, heavy, and smelled like pine trees and old battles.

Outside the sliding wooden doors of a large, traditional Japanese room, a dozen strong ninja stood guard.

These were Uchiha clan elites.Full novel: Naruto: Uchiha Madara’s Elder Brother is Konoha’s Strongest Hokage — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

They wore dark, high-collared shirts and red armor that was covered in scratches from many fights.

Their hands rested near their swords, ready to draw them at a moment’s notice.

Outside the door, the guards shared looks of both deep worry and incredible, fierce joy.

Inside the quiet room, it smelled like strong medicine and burnt energy.

An old medical ninja named Uchiha Ryota kneeled on the woven floor mats.

His glowing green hands hovered over the pale face of a twelve-year-old boy.

This was a very basic form of medical ninjutsu.

It was slow, hard to do, and left the old man sweating from the effort.

The boy lying in the bed had curly, dark hair and a handsome face.

Right now, though, he was covered in dirt, dried sweat, and looked completely exhausted.

His red chest armor had been tossed into the corner of the room.

It was burned and cut from a recent, terrible fight.

Miraculously, the boy didn’t have any major cuts on his body.

The real damage was hidden.

Under his closed eyes, his skin was bruised a dark, scary purple.

The energy pathways around his eyes were burning and damaged from being pushed way past their limits.

Slowly, the boy took a deep, shaky breath.

His eyes opened.

He didn’t scream.

He didn’t panic or thrash around.

He simply lay there, his dark eyes staring blankly at the ceiling.

He didn’t say a single word.

Ryota let out a long sigh of relief.

He lowered his hands, and the green glow faded away.

“Shinra-sama,” the old man whispered.

“You have returned to us.” The boy, Shinra, did not answer.

He just kept staring at the heavy wooden beam above him.

Specifically, he was looking at a large painting on the ceiling.

It was a red and white fan.

The famous symbol of the Uchiha clan.

On the outside, he looked like a brave, quiet young ninja.

But on the inside, in his mind, his world was completely falling apart.

Because the soul inside this twelve-year-old boy was not exactly Shinra Uchiha.

Where…

where am I?

The last thing he remembered was the loud, blaring horn of a truck.

He remembered bright white headlights shining through the heavy rain of Jabalpur, India.

And then, a terrible crash.

He was Samaksh.

He was just a normal eighteen-year-old kid.

He spent most of his free time reading web novels and watching the Naruto anime over and over again instead of studying for his school exams.

He remembered the feeling of falling.

He remembered his heart stopping.

He remembered dying.

But now, he was breathing.

The air here tasted different.

It was cleaner, but it felt heavy, like a storm was always just about to break.

He tried to sit up, but a sharp, burning pain shot through his chest and stomach.

It didn’t feel like a normal muscle ache.

It felt like his insides were completely empty and on fire at the same time.

Samaksh had never felt anything like it before, but his new body—his new muscles and brain—knew exactly what it was without having to think about it.

Chakra exhaustion.

He had run completely out of ninja energy.

Samaksh forced himself to breathe slowly.

He tried not to let the panic take over.

He looked around the room.

He saw the old style of the building.

He saw the ninja armor he had seen a thousand times in comic panels and TV shows.

He saw the Uchiha fan.

I’ve been transmigrated, he thought.

I’m in the anime.

Before he could even process how crazy that sounded, a blinding pain hit his head.

It felt like someone had driven a nail right between his eyes.

Samaksh bit his lip so hard it almost bled.

He wanted to scream, but some deep, hidden Uchiha pride inside him refused to let him cry out loud.

He gripped his blanket until his knuckles turned white.

Memories that were not his own flooded into his brain like a rushing river.

He saw a muddy forest.

It was raining.

He heard the scary whistling sound of ninja stars flying through the air.

He saw enemy ninja wearing dark green armor.

The Senju clan.

He saw his teammate, a young Uchiha, get hit by a Senju spear.

He remembered feeling a wave of anger and sadness so strong it felt like his heart was breaking in two.

He wanted to destroy everything wearing that green armor.

Then, in the memory, his vision turned blood red.

Everything around him slowed down.

He could suddenly see the enemy’s movements before they even made them.

Three black dots—tomoe—spun wildly in his eyes.

He had drawn his sword and moved faster than lightning, cutting down the Senju ambushers one by one until his energy ran out and he collapsed into the mud.

The memory faded away.

Samaksh was left gasping for air on the bed, sweating through his clothes.

The headache slowly went away.

The two souls—the eighteen-year-old student from Earth and the twelve-year-old child soldier from the ninja world—finally mixed together perfectly.

They became one person.

He wasn’t just Samaksh anymore.

He was Shinra Uchiha.

He opened his eyes again.

The world looked incredibly clear and sharp, sharper than he had ever seen it in his past life.

He remembered who he was now.

He was the oldest son of Uchiha Tajima.

He was the young leader, the heir to the entire Uchiha clan.

He was three years older than Madara, and five years older than Izuna.

Wait a minute, Shinra thought, his mind racing.

He knew the Naruto story inside and out.

Madara had four brothers.

Most of them died in the war when they were just kids.

But their names were never really mentioned in the story, except for Izuna.

There was definitely no mention of an oldest brother who lived long enough to be the heir of the clan!

A cold shiver went down his spine.

He was in the Warring States Period.

This was the most brutal, scary time in the entire ninja history.

This was the time before the hidden villages even existed.

Children were sent out to fight and die before they even knew how to throw a kunai properly.

The average person didn’t even live to see their thirtieth birthday.

It was a time of endless, bloody war.

And according to the story he knew, he was supposed to be dead.

He was a ghost.

An extra character.

He was just the tragic older brother whose death was probably going to be the thing that pushed Madara to become cold and angry in the future.

His father, Tajima, had seven sons.

Now, only three were left alive.

Shinra, Madara, and Izuna.

The other four were buried in the clan graveyard, killed by the Senju and other enemy clans.

Yesterday’s attack wasn’t just a random fight.

The Senju had set a trap.

They wanted to kill the Uchiha heir to break his father’s heart and weaken the clan.

But instead of dying, Shinra had unlocked his family’s greatest power.

It wasn’t a normal awakening.

The terrible shock of watching his team die had forced his eyes to skip the first and second levels entirely.

At only twelve years old, Shinra Uchiha had awakened the fully mature, three-tomoe Sharingan.

That was why the strong guards outside his door were so happy and worried at the same time.

The clan had lost good men, and their young master almost died.

But in return, he had unlocked the ultimate weapon years before anyone thought it was possible.

In this dark era, raw power was the only thing that mattered to survive.

“Shinra-sama?” Ryota’s rough voice broke through his thoughts.

The old doctor was looking at him with worried eyes.

“Do your eyes hurt?

Awakening the three-tomoe Sharingan at your age is unheard of.

The energy pathways near your eyes are badly hurt.

You cannot use your chakra for at least a week, or you might go completely blind.” Shinra slowly pushed himself up to sit on the edge of the bed.

His whole body ached and begged him to lie back down, but he forced his face to look calm and tough.

He was the oldest son.

He was Madara’s big brother.

He couldn’t act like a scared kid from Earth.

Not here.

“I am fine, Ryota-san,” Shinra said.

His voice sounded young, but it had a tough, serious tone to it.

It didn’t sound like Samaksh.

It sounded like an Uchiha who had survived a nightmare.

“How long was I asleep?” “Almost twenty hours, Shinra-sama,” the medic answered, bowing his head.

“Your father has been told that you survived and awakened your eyes.

He is currently at the front lines, fighting back against the Senju.” Shinra nodded slowly.

His bare feet touched the cool floor mats.

He needed a plan, and he needed one fast.

He was stuck in a deadly game.

Without a hidden village to keep him safe, every single day was a gamble with his life.

Yes, he had the powerful three-tomoe Sharingan, but his body was still twelve years old.

He didn’t have nearly enough chakra to fight a grown Senju warrior yet.

If time went on the way the story said it would, he was going to die.

He was just going to be a sad memory for his little brothers.

No way, Shinra thought.

He clenched his hands into tight fists.

I didn’t get a second chance at life just to become someone else’s tragic backstory.

He had one massive advantage.

He knew the future.

He knew all the secrets of the ninja world.

He knew about the hidden eyes, the villains hiding in the shadows, and how the story was supposed to end.

And now, he had the talent of an Uchiha genius.

As soon as he made that promise to himself, the air right in front of his face seemed to ripple, like water when you drop a stone into it.

A sharp, pleasant ding sound echoed in his mind.

It wasn’t a real sound, but something he heard inside his head.

Right in front of his eyes, a bright, glowing blue screen suddenly appeared out of thin air.

White words began to type themselves across the digital box, reflecting a soft blue light in his dark Uchiha eyes.

[Soul Merging Complete.] [New Entity ‘Shinra Uchiha’ recognized.] [Starting Support System…] [World Identification Begin…] Shinra stared at the floating blue screen.

He held his breath for a second.

Slowly, even though his body hurt and the scary reality of the ninja world was weighing him down, a small, confident smile grew on his face.

In this dark, dangerous era of war, he had just been given the ultimate cheat code.

The rules of the game had just changed.
