The golden light filling the room was so bright that Shinra had to squeeze his eyes shut.
It was like someone had dropped a miniature sun right in the middle of his bedroom.
The air around him crackled with a heavy, warm energy that made the hairs on his arms stand up.
Back on Earth, as Samaksh, the craziest thing he had ever experienced was a power outage during a thunderstorm.
Now, he was sitting in a wooden room in the Warring States period, literally watching a magical gift pack open in front of his face.
Then, the glowing golden pixels slowly faded away, drifting down like fireflies.
The familiar blue screens popped up in front of his face.
[Ding!] [Novice Gift Pack opened successfully.] [Host has received five major rewards.] Shinra held his breath.
He gripped the edge of his thin blanket.
He knew this was going to be good.
In every webnovel he had ever read, the novice gift pack was the ultimate cheat.
But as he read the lines of text appearing one by one, his jaw slowly dropped open.
[Reward 1: All Seven Chakra Natures (Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, Lightning, Yin, Yang).] All seven?
Shinra thought, his heart hammering against his ribs so hard it actually hurt.
He knew exactly what this meant.
Normally, a talented ninja might be born with an affinity for one element, maybe two if they were a genius.
Most of his Uchiha clan members only ever mastered Fire style, with a few unlocking Lightning or Earth later in life.
To have all five basic elements was insanely rare.
In the future timeline, the Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi, would be called the “God of Shinobi” just because he could use all five basic natures.
But Shinra didn’t just get the basic five.
He got Yin and Yang as well.
Yin was the energy of the mind, the foundation of Genjutsu and creating form out of nothing.
Yang was the energy of the body, the foundation of physical vitality and breathing life into form.
Getting all seven was something usually reserved for legendary figures who possessed the Rinnegan or the powers of the Six Paths.
This meant there was no jutsu in the world he couldn’t learn.
The only limit now was his imagination!
Before he could even calm down, the next line of text appeared.
[Reward 2: Chakra Control upgraded from Level 2 to Level 3 (Advanced).] Instantly, Shinra felt a bizarre change inside his body.
Before this, the wild, burning ninja energy inside him felt like a rushing river that he had to constantly fight to keep under control.
Now, that raging river suddenly felt as calm and obedient as a tame pet.
The energy flowed perfectly through his veins without him even having to think about it.
In his past life, reading the stories and watching the anime, he knew exactly how important this detail was.
Having a lot of chakra meant nothing if you couldn’t control it.
He thought about Naruto Uzumaki when he was young.
Naruto had a massive, ocean-like amount of chakra, but his control was at Level 1 (Beginner).
That meant Naruto wasted tons of energy just trying to do basic things like the cloning jutsu.
Someone like Kakashi Hatake was at Level 3 (Advanced)—he could use his energy perfectly, directing it exactly where it needed to go without wasting a single drop.
Jiraiya, the Toad Sage, was at Level 4 (Expert), allowing him to balance natural energy to use complex Sage jutsu.
And the absolute masters of control, like Hashirama Senju or Tsunade, were at Level 5 (Perfect).
Jumping straight to Level 3 at twelve years old was a massive deal.
It meant that every single jutsu he cast from now on would use the absolute minimum amount of chakra required.
His fuel tank just got way more efficient.
[Reward 3: Fire Style: Majestic Destroyer Flame – Transcendent Rank.] [System Note: Skill tiers have been updated.] [New Tiers: Beginner -> Novice -> Adept -> Expert -> Master -> Grandmaster -> Transcendent.] Shinra actually gasped out loud, his eyes going wide.
Transcendent Rank?
He looked at the new ranking system.
A ‘Master’ rank meant you were the absolute best in your village at that specific jutsu.
A ‘Grandmaster’ meant you were at the Kage level, capable of changing the jutsu to create your own unique versions.
But ‘Transcendent’ meant something else entirely.
It meant you were a force of nature.
It meant you broke the rules of reality.
He immediately remembered watching the Fourth Great Ninja War in the anime.
He clearly remembered Madara Uchiha standing alone against an entire allied army.
Madara had taken a deep breath and blown out a wall of fire so massive, so insanely hot, that it took dozens of expert water-style users working together just to barely stop it from turning them all into ash.
That was what a Transcendent level jutsu looked like.
And now, that exact technique was hardwired into Shinra’s brain.
He didn’t just know the hand seals; he could literally feel the muscle memory in his throat and lungs.
He knew exactly how to compress the fire chakra and release it like a volcanic eruption.
[Reward 4: Matured Sage Body (Hashirama Senju Level).] Before Shinra could even process the terrifying fire jutsu he just received, a wave of intense, boiling heat washed over his physical body.
He gripped his chest as the burning pain of chakra exhaustion—the very thing that had knocked him out yesterday—vanished in a split second.
The dark, unhealthy bruises under his eyes faded away, replaced by clear, healthy skin.
His muscles, which had felt weak, heavy, and tired just a minute ago, suddenly felt packed with explosive, endless power.
He could hear his own heartbeat, strong and steady like a war drum.
The Sage Body was the ultimate prize in this world.
It belonged to the Senju clan, specifically to their future leader, Hashirama.
It gave the user insane physical strength, super-fast cellular healing, and most importantly, a chakra pool as deep as an ocean.
Shinra let out a long breath he didn’t realize he was holding.
He looked down at his hands, watching as a tiny paper cut on his finger closed up and disappeared in front of his eyes.
My biggest weakness…
it’s completely gone, he realized, a wide smile spreading across his face.
The Uchiha clan was famous for having incredibly strong mental energy (Yin), but their physical bodies (Yang) were usually normal.
That was why they ran out of stamina so fast.
But now?
Shinra had the eyes of an Uchiha and the perfect, untiring body of a Senju.
I’m not a glass cannon anymore, he thought, clenching his fists.
With this Sage Body, his chakra reserves had just skyrocketed.
He could keep his three-tomoe Sharingan spinning all day long without breaking a single sweat!
[Reward 5: Passive Skill – Supreme Combat Awareness.] The final reward from the gift pack settled into his mind like a cool, refreshing breeze.
Suddenly, Shinra’s senses expanded in a way he couldn’t fully describe.
Even without turning on his Sharingan, he could feel everything around him.
He could hear the exact breathing patterns of the guards standing outside his sliding door.
He could tell by the sound of their shifting boots exactly how they were standing and where their weight was resting.
He looked at a tiny spider spinning a web in the corner of the ceiling, and his brain instantly calculated the exact speed and angle it was moving.
If someone attacked him right now, his 18-year-old Earth brain wouldn’t freeze in panic.
His body would just react on its own.
He would perfectly block, dodge, and counterattack without needing to think about it.
The system had just gifted him the raw battle instincts of a legendary ninja who had fought and survived in a hundred deadly wars.
He wouldn’t make stupid rookie mistakes anymore.
Shinra slowly stood up from the bed.
The wooden floorboards creaked softly under his bare feet.
The power rushing through his young body was absolutely incredible.
He wasn’t just some weak, tragic extra character meant to die in the background anymore.
He felt like a true monster.
Just as he was getting used to the feeling of his new body, another chime rang out in the quiet room.
[Ding!] [Achievement System Update…] [Achievement Recognized: Early Awakening (3-Tomoe Sharingan).] [Reward: Genjutsu Power increased by 2x.] Shinra chuckled softly.
This was the cherry on top of a perfect cake.
He knew exactly how rare his eyes were.
The Uchiha clan’s eyes were powerful, but they required terrible emotional pain to evolve.
For every one hundred Uchiha who managed to awaken the three-tomoe Sharingan, maybe only two of them would ever suffer enough tragedy to unlock the terrifying Mangekyo Sharingan.
And out of those two, maybe only one would ever manage to get the Eternal Mangekyo by taking their sibling’s eyes.
By simply doubling the power of his illusions, the system had heavily mutated Shinra’s eyes.
While it didn’t give him a giant, glowing chakra robot like the Susanoo, his Genjutsu—his ability to trap people in illusions—would be almost as strong as a base-level Mangekyo Sharingan!
If he looked a normal Jonin-level ninja in the eyes right now, he could scramble their brain and put them to sleep in a fraction of a second, all without the risk of going blind.
System, Shinra thought, feeling totally energized and completely fearless.
Show me my updated panel.
The blue screen flashed, and the new text rolled down cleanly.
[— CHARACTER PANEL —] [Name: Shinra Uchiha] [Age: 12] [Current Position: Eldest Son of Tajima Uchiha / Uchiha Clan Heir] [Overall Level: Elite Jonin] [— STATS SUMMARY —] [Chakra Capacity: Kage Level (Enhanced by Matured Sage Body)] [Physical Strength: Kage Level (Enhanced by Matured Sage Body)] [Speed & Reflexes: Elite Jonin Level] [Mental Energy / Soul: Kage Level] [— KEKKEI GENKAI —] [Sharingan (Fully Matured – 3 Tomoe)] [Passive Effect: Perfect kinetic vision and chakra color perception.] [Passive Effect: Genjutsu power is 2x stronger than a standard 3-Tomoe.] [Matured Sage Body (Hashirama Level)] [Passive Effect: Near-limitless stamina, massive chakra reserves, and rapid cellular healing.] [— SKILLS & JUTSU —] [- Passive: Supreme Combat Awareness] [- Fire Style: Majestic Destroyer Flame (B-Rank) – Level: Transcendent] [- Fire Style: Great Dragon Fire Technique (A-Rank) – Level: Adept] [- Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu (C-Rank) – Level: Master] [- Fire Style: Phoenix Flower Jutsu (C-Rank) – Level: Expert] [- Uchiha Interceptor Sword Style (Kenjutsu) – Level: Expert] [- Body Flicker Jutsu (D-Rank) – Level: Adept] [— SYSTEM REMARK —] [You are no longer a fragile child.
With the eyes of an Uchiha, the body of a Senju, and the battle instincts of a veteran, you have stepped onto the path of the strongest.
The world is yours to shape, Host.] Shinra read over the panel three times, committing every single detail to memory.
He shadow-boxed the air a few times, throwing a quick jab and a hook.
He was amazed at how fast his fists moved.
It was a blur.
It honestly felt like he had been driving a rusty, broken-down bicycle his whole life, and someone had just handed him the keys to a military fighter jet.
“Elite Jonin,” Shinra whispered to himself, a real, genuine grin stretching across his face.
In this era, ranks like Jonin and Kage didn’t officially exist yet, but he knew exactly what they meant.
An Elite Jonin was a top-tier military commander.
It was someone who could take on fifty normal soldiers by themselves and win without breaking a sweat.
“In just a few minutes, I went from a dying kid to an Elite Jonin,” Shinra muttered, running a hand through his messy, dark curly hair.
“If I play my cards right, I really can protect Madara and Izuna.
I can stop my father from making stupid mistakes.
I can change everything.” He walked over to the corner of the room, looking down at his damaged red armor sitting on the floor.
He wasn’t going to hide in this room anymore.
He was the eldest son.
He needed to step outside and show the clan that their young master was alive, completely healed, and stronger than ever before.
But just as his fingers brushed the cold metal of his red armor, the blue screen floating in his peripheral vision suddenly flashed violently.
The calm, pleasant chime of the system was replaced by a sharp, urgent ringing noise that echoed directly into his brain.
