The silence in the hallway was deafening.
The three elders stood like statues of stone, blocking the path forward.
Grand Elder Takeshi glared at Shinra, clearly expecting the young boy to lower his head, apologize, and obediently return to his bed.
In the past, the original twelve-year-old Shinra would have done exactly that.
He was respectful, quiet, and slightly intimidated by the harsh, battle-scarred elders who helped his father rule the clan.
But this Shinra was different.
Shinra didn’t move a muscle.
Thanks to his Supreme Combat Awareness, he could perfectly read the body language of the three old men standing before him.
Despite their harsh words and intimidating glares, he could tell they were actually deeply worried about him.
They were old dogs of war, and in their minds, an injured heir was a massive weakness to the entire clan.
Shinra kept his posture perfectly straight.
He looked directly into Grand Elder Takeshi’s eyes, not with arrogance or disrespect, but with the unbreakable calm of someone who knew exactly how strong they were.
“I am not a stupid child, Grand Elder,” Shinra said.
His voice was smooth and even, echoing clearly in the quiet hallway.
“And I am not acting tough.
I am out of bed because I am completely healed, and my clan is at war.
The heir of the Uchiha does not hide under his blankets while his father and brothers bleed on the front lines.” Elder Koji, a tall, thin man standing to the right, frowned deeply.
He slammed the base of his wooden cane against the floorboards.
“Do not talk back to us with such disrespect, Shinra!” Elder Koji scolded, his eyes narrowing.
“You awakened the three-tomoe Sharingan yesterday!
A miracle, yes, but a deadly one for a boy your age.
Your chakra pathways should be burning right now.
If you force yourself, you will go blind or cripple yourself permanently!
Go back to your room immediately.
That is an order from the council.” “With all due respect, Elder Koji,” Shinra replied, his tone polite but totally unmoving.
“I take my orders from the Clan Head.
And currently, my father is not here.
Therefore, as the young patriarch, I answer to no one in this compound.” The guards watching the exchange looked like they were going to faint.
No one spoke to the Grand Elders like that.
Never.
Grand Elder Takeshi’s face turned slightly red with anger.
He took a heavy step forward, his own powerful, Jonin-level chakra beginning to leak out, creating a heavy pressure in the air.
“You insolent boy…” Takeshi growled.
Before the elder could do anything else, old Ryota threw himself directly in front of Shinra, holding his arms out wide to block the elders.
“Grand Elders, please!
Wait!” Ryota cried out, bowing so deeply he almost hit his head on the floor.
“The young master is telling the truth!
Please, listen to me!” Takeshi stopped, his eyebrows twitching in annoyance.
“Speak, Ryota.
Why are you allowing the injured heir to wander the halls?” “He is not injured, Grand Elder!” Ryota explained quickly, his voice shaking with leftover shock.
“I just examined his body myself!
It goes against all medical logic, but Shinra-sama is completely, one hundred percent healed!
The damage to his eyes is gone.
But more importantly…” Ryota paused, swallowing hard.
He looked up at the three stern elders.
“His chakra reserves…
they have mutated,” Ryota confessed, his voice dropping to a loud whisper.
“His physical vitality is monstrous.
He currently holds more raw chakra than any of you.” The three elders froze.
Their angry expressions instantly washed away, replaced by total bewilderment.
“Are you out of your mind, Ryota?” Elder Nobu, the third elder, asked in disbelief.
“He is twelve years old.
The Uchiha do not possess such physical stamina.” “If you doubt the medic’s words, you are free to test it yourselves,” Shinra interrupted smoothly.
Shinra decided to give them a tiny, controlled taste of his new power.
He didn’t want to hurt them, but he needed to complete his system mission and prove his authority beyond any shadow of a doubt.
Taking a slow, deep breath, Shinra tapped into the oceanic reserves of his Matured Sage Body.
He didn’t release his fire chakra, just the pure, raw, physical energy flowing through his perfectly controlled pathways.
Boom.
The air in the hallway literally grew heavy.
It felt as if gravity had suddenly doubled.
The wooden floorboards creaked loudly under Shinra’s feet.
A visible wave of dense, terrifyingly strong blue chakra washed over the hallway, pushing against the walls and rattling the paper lanterns.
The elite guards grunted, taking a step back as the pressure hit them.
The three Grand Elders stared at the boy in pure, unadulterated shock.
Their eyes widened.
The heavy, suffocating weight of Shinra’s chakra was undeniable.
It felt wild and endless, like standing in front of a massive waterfall.
It didn’t feel like the sharp, burning chakra of an Uchiha.
It felt dense, vital, and unbelievably strong.
Shinra held the pressure for just three seconds before cutting it off perfectly.
Thanks to his Level 3 Chakra Control, he didn’t waste a single drop of energy.
The heavy feeling vanished instantly, returning the hallway to normal.
“Do you believe me now, Grand Elders?” Shinra asked calmly, brushing a speck of dust off his red armor.
Grand Elder Takeshi stared at the young boy.
He had lived through decades of war.
He had fought the Senju, the Hagoromo, and a dozen other clans.
He knew power when he saw it.
And the twelve-year-old boy standing before him had the raw presence of an elite, top-tier monster.
Slowly, the anger left Takeshi’s eyes.
It was replaced by a look of deep, profound respect, and perhaps a tiny bit of fear.
The Grand Elder slowly lowered his head, bowing slightly to the young boy.
The other two elders quickly followed his lead.
“It seems…
a miracle has truly blessed the Uchiha clan today,” Takeshi said, his raspy voice much quieter now.
“Forgive an old man’s worry, Shinra-sama.
We only wished to protect the future of the clan.” Shinra nodded graciously.
He didn’t gloat.
He didn’t smirk.
A true ruler knew when to be fierce and when to be forgiving.
“Your loyalty is appreciated, Grand Elders,” Shinra replied respectfully.
Just as he spoke those words, the familiar blue screen flashed in his vision.
[Ding!] [Mission Completed: The Heir’s Authority.] [System Evaluation: You successfully demonstrated your power without relying on arrogance.
You have secured the absolute respect of the elders and the guards.] [Reward Granted: A-Rank Ninjutsu – Rasengan (Adept Level).] Instantly, a rush of cool energy flowed directly into Shinra’s brain.
He closed his eyes for a fraction of a second.
It was an incredible feeling.
He didn’t just learn how the jutsu worked; he felt the muscle memory permanently etch itself into his right hand.
He knew exactly how to compress his chakra, how to spin it in multiple directions at once, and how to contain it in a perfect, glowing blue sphere.
He now possessed an A-Rank assassination jutsu that he could fire off in less than a second.
[System Note: As an ‘Adept’ user, you can form the Rasengan instantly with one hand.
Further practice will unlock higher tiers and larger variations.] Shinra opened his eyes, feeling a surge of adrenaline.
The system was truly the ultimate cheat code.
“Now that my health is no longer a concern,” Shinra said, turning his attention back to the elders.
“I need a detailed update on the war.
The captain mentioned the Senju launched a surprise offensive.
What is the current situation?” Grand Elder Takeshi sighed heavily, leaning on his cane.
His face grew grim.
“It is not good, young master,” Takeshi reported, his tone dead serious.
“Clan Head Tajima is holding the main Senju force at the river.
However, a specialized unit of Senju elites managed to slip past our scouts in the dead of night.
They bypassed the main battlefield.” Shinra’s eyes narrowed slightly.
He didn’t like the sound of that.
“Where are they heading?” “They are moving through the southern forest,” Elder Koji answered, pointing a bony finger toward the south.
“They are attempting to cut off our supply lines and flank your father’s army from behind.” Shinra’s heart skipped a beat.
The southern forest.
That was exactly where the guard captain said Madara and Izuna were currently stationed.
His little brothers were out there, expecting a boring, safe guard duty mission, and a team of Senju elites was heading right for them.
In the original story, Madara had brothers who died young in the war.
Was this the event?
Was this the moment the Senju slaughtered Madara’s siblings to break his spirit?
Not on my watch, Shinra thought, his dark eyes turning cold and dangerous.
“How far away is the southern camp?” Shinra demanded, his voice suddenly sharp like a drawn sword.
“An hour by foot for an elite ninja,” Takeshi answered, looking confused by the sudden change in Shinra’s demeanor.
“We have already dispatched a rescue squad, but we fear they will not arrive in time to stop the ambush.” “Cancel the rescue squad,” Shinra ordered instantly.
“Tell them to reinforce my father at the main river line instead.” The elders looked shocked.
“But Shinra-sama!
Madara and Izuna are at that camp!
We must send men to protect them!” Shinra walked past the elders, his red armor clinking softly as he moved toward the main exit of the clan compound.
“You don’t need to send men,” Shinra said, pausing to look over his shoulder.
The light from the courtyard caught his eyes, flashing with a deadly, quiet promise.
“I am going to the southern camp myself.” CREATORS’ THOUGHTS thesilenttypist Author’s Note: Hey everyone!
